Right right right… so if advocacy is defined as “actively supporting a cause or promoting a particular viewpoint to bring about social change” (The Oxford Review - OR Briefings, 2025), and “advocacy becomes activism when it takes a specific form within a discourse arena” (Johnston, J., Gulliver, R., 2022), then is it not reasonable to conclude that the current discourse is, in essence, activism?
