So as I’m at something like 3 months now without dressing.

I’m just lacking any desire to do so, I think a lot is probably down the anti-depressants I’m on. I’m feeling less anxious and more relaxed on them, I think being Abby gave me a bit of escapism which I don’t feel I need right now.

There are also a few other reasons I have lost interest. I feel I’ve gone as far as I can with make-up I have. To progress further I would need to make new purchases, probably on more expensive products and waste some money as I test what works best.

I just don’t have enough desire to make those purchases and incur the expense. It’s a similar situation with the clothes, I’m not going to wear them full-time so I am loathed to spend a great deal on them. I’ve lost interested in spending ages searching eBay or charity shops for cheap alternatives.

So I just feel for the moment that I’ve done everything, why bother to put the same looks together, the same outfits on? I’ve already done it, I don’t need to do it all again.

Back to the medication, it’s caused me to put on a bit of weight, about half a stone (7lb or 3kg). Which is a bit annoying for someone who regularly exercises and eats healthily. Makes me feel less pretty but I don’t mind it as overall mentally I feel a lot better.

So while Abby is hidden in her box I’ve taken the time to see more of my friends, get out more and just do stuff. I actually look forward to going out again, something I wasn’t doing for quite some time.

I’ve told a few more people about Abby, everyone is super nice as always. Bit of irony to it though as I’m not dressing but there you go.

Depression is a funny thing, I’m sure it’ll come back 😊
