A friend showed me this old photo and said âis this you?â
Yes. Hah. It is me. One of my first suits. It WAS a halloween Jolteon and that WAS the point - the convention fell over halloween. However, look at the state of this. Halloween was no excuse for the awful work.
This is what can happen with work. Hard work and perseverance. Itâs easily 5-6+ years ago that I made this, and look at how far Iâve come.
I also have some comprehensive tutorials over on youtube, please do check them out under the channel âKloofsuitsâ that should really help anybody who is stuck to understand the process a little better. When I learned to build, there was a lack of any decent visual tutorials. The mish-mash of materials and processes in this Jolteon is horrendous. Hopefully my tutorials can stop you guys making the same mistakes as me!

Dear artists...
No, Iâm not going to link back to your page. I edited out your ugly signature too. I paid for the art. It is mine.
Donât worry, this does not mean I take credit for drawing it. When people ask if I drew it, I say âNope.â When people ask who did, I say, âSorry, I donât remember.â
Just because I bought your art does not mean our profiles have to be linked forever. Itâs the same if I buy an apple from the grocer. I donât have to keep the sticker on it or tell people where it came from. Iâm not a walking advertisement for your shop.
If you want credit so badly, then I should get a cut of your future profits for my part in the advertising.
I know Iâm probably going to get the wrath of whiny, entitled artists for this, but I donât care. I wonât be making a shrine around their art dedicated to them. I paid for a service, and now we should go our our separate ways!

Of all things why do I have to be allergic to summer.
My eyes wonât stop itching and I keep sniffling and sneezing. I donât know where I put any of my anti-allergy things. Probably somewhere âsafeâ so I will likely never find them again.
Why must you do this to me weather I was compLIMENTING YOU. Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.

Where did you come up with the name 'kloofsuits'? The name is super adorable <3
Itâs a long story, actually! the name is actually a Cornish words for âCliffâ I believe, and as my original âsona species was an Andean Mountain Cat, and I loved the word, I decided to roll with that!
I retired the character as a fursona and she became the face for Kloofsuits!

May I have the patterns for your toony heads? I recently watched the entire 8-Part tutorial on making the head, and its the best ive ever seen! :D
I'm glad you like the tutorials, but unfortunately I don't use patterns. I like every head to be unique.Having said this, it is rather impolite to ask someone for their patterns as this is their work. Tutorials are things a lot of people don't share as it makes their processes public knowledge, and patterns are another step up again. It's just something you should bare in mind for the future

Hi! I was wondering, can you sell canine foam head bases? If so, what's its price? If you don't respond, that's ok :-)
I don't unfortunately, and prices are very much under revision as it is. Sorry!

Cobalt Fursuit Partial With Sleeves
Adorable artistic liberty Liger head in shades of blue with black and white accents. Recently completed partial fursuit, one of four suits that I've been working on for a while. Full DF furNew style following eyes with extra large irisLOTS of hand-sewn markingsFully lined with a Lycra balaclavaExcellent vision and ventilation Absolutely adorable suit that's been on the go for a while along with three others, finally decided to get them done one at a time instead of all at once, so I could clear some of my queue. I'm quite sad to see Cobalt go off to his new home, I've grown very fond of the character. Head designed by my fabulous artist, UkTheWhiteWolf. The design was simplified as it was requested to have no airbrushing, and thus some of the excessive stripes and spots were reduced down. Hope you like it!

Hey, where do you buy your foam? I'm looking at industrial upholstery foam websites and DAMN it's expensive. I was wondering if there's somewhere that sells it in bulk or scraps or something that isn't gonna kill my wallet. I live in the US if that's relevant. Love your suits by the way, the new plastic mold is absolutely beautiful :D
Thanks so much for the nice comments (: I actually usually get my foam off eBay stores - I'm in the UK so unfortunately I might not be much help. As I'm aware. JoAnn's and Michaels sell foam, from what I've been told. I only went to a JoAnn's once and I couldn't get foam on the plane so I wasn't exactly looking for that haha!
