Dez looks Despair up and down, eyes widened and full of a number of emotions.

Shaking, he leans against a conveniently placed counter and brushes the hair off his face.

"So, Despair, what are you doing later?"

- No, MerMc is not precious to the Captain because he likes them or anything.

- They sever a purpose actually to him. Cause they can sense when a storm is coming way before it happens. Like, days before. 

- They may also have other, useful abilities. That is all. That is the only reason MerMc is “so precious”.

- Okay, let me stop pulling at your sea legs. Captain Valerius is totally crushing on MerMc and is in denial

- MerMc probably has saved him from drowning when he has drank to much and fallen overboard. 

- He would wake up with MerMc on top  of him, giving him CPR. 

- He would probably cough a few times and makes a face that says “I am about to kill all you including the damn Devil.”

- His head is pounding, he is tired, and has no clue what's happening

- He starts cursing up a storm until MerMc points out he fell overboard. 

-And then he is like:

-He has caught a merperson. And the merperson is mc.

-Mer mc can shift into a human form with scales on there legs, arms, and a few speckled on their face. And just needs to stay decently wet 24/7

-They are probably the most precious thing the the Captain. Well besides wine.

15: What it takes to make them cry

When Lucio was sick, all it took was looking at him for too long without alcohol to soothe the ache. Valerius would see his count, his friend, and even his partner sick in bed, dying, and he could do nothing. His chest would feel tight and his lip would tremble, his breath too shallow, and no, he wasn’t crying, it was just dusty in here. They should treat you with more respect, Lucio. You’re the count, and they cannot spare a servant to dust your room? How unseemly. Positively disgusting. He’d take a sip of his wine, and the tears would fall later, either alone in his room or in Lucio’s arms despite the risk when he was pretty sure the count was asleep.

Nowadays, it’s hard to make Valerius so upset about most things. He gets angry, yes, when things don’t go his way, but he is not an angry crier. He is not made of stone, he can cry, but it’s difficult and rare, and when the urge comes up Valerius will push it down. But there is one weakness. The most consistent thing thoughout Valerius’s life, you see, is that if he’s overwhelmed he will cry. When he was young, it might have been a parent yelling or a far too difficult task, or just a particularly pushy person or loud party. As he grew older, it was his first interaction with the rest of the court, or meeting Lucio that made his breath come short, though of course he waited until he reached the safety of his chambers to let the tears fall. Now? Too much sensory input, too many things going wrong at once even in minor ways, or too much paperwork on his desk, and he very well might give a weak groan, put his head in his hands, and give up. But you can’t prove that he cried.

@mary52011 I'm aware the ads are not like the gameplay. I'm just sick and tired of all the stupid click bait. Ads are usually first impressions of a game.

Dress up ads need to stop

So can we talk about dress up game ads? Yes I know that most ads for such games are click bait but still, the messages they send out are not good.

For example take this “Dress up! Time Princess” ad.

I will not say I’m 100% a tomboy but I’m pretty tomboyish. Games like this are aimed at mostly young little girls who are very impressionable and finding themselves. Stuff like this is why some girls believe they can’t like characters like Ironman and Spider-Man cause they think that is “boy stuff”.“ So they can not like it. This also gives little girls the impression that they should dress for there men than themselves. But the fact is you should dress for yourself. If your crush does not like how you dress, well he is not for you. Now I am not saying you should look like a slob and not keep your hygiene up, but nobody should dictate how you dress except yourself. Another thing is, if you do glow up for someone else, they still may not like you. If they do, that relationship is not going to be healthy (Most likely). So dear Dress up game companies can you all PLEASE start showing ads where the heroine is not a suck-up to men or anyone else. Thank you for your time.
