Common things in DID that no one likes to talk about

- switches that feel like you��re turning into someone else rather than them taking control (non-possessive switching)

- being unable to communicate with alters internally (this is so common why does everyone act like this is weird?)

hey gang, sorry for the lack of posts, my health issues have been kicking me in the ass!! (i had three seizures today !!) anyways i wanna draw more emh shit.. mayhaps vinnie to feed lord vinbitism... not tagging bcuz i get nervous but maybe if i say his name three times ill summon him... vinbitism.. vinbitism..! VINBITISM!! anyways. heres hoping i dont break my record of longest seizure (10 minutes im not exaggerating.)

have you ever wondered what weapons HABIT prefers or what his all-time favorite weapon is? are you curious if all the weapons on his table were even used in any videos? or maybe you want to know how many weapons were used by him in the series in general? well, i have the answers to all of that! (and a lot of unnecessary information to share)

this post contains MULTIPLE SPOILERS and only focuses on stuff we see in series. its also an EXTREMELY LONG AND OVERLY DETAILED POST, so hopefully you like reading! big thanks to @pagodazz for giving me the idea for this post, and also thanks to @xblnkfrnk for giving me the motivation to actually make it :D

i decided to try my best to figure out every weapon HABIT has handled throughout the entirety of EverymanHYBRID using his weapon table. my goal was to figure out WHICH weapons he favored and what type, as well as figure out if he even used every weapon he had placed on it.

using a screenshot of the table, i gave each weapon a number so i could explain everything a bit easier. items that dont count as weapons were either given the number 0 or labeled as “UNNUMBERED.”

from what ive gathered, i believe he favors two specific machetes. numbers 3 and 5. while paying real close attention to the videos HABIT has made appearances in, i noticed he has had those two machetes in hand more often than he has had any of his other weapons.

heres a list i made down below that states every weapon (+ the handcuffs because why not) FROM THE TABLE he has had in specific videos:

0 - GOODBYE | The Andersen Journals: Scrapped “Ending” (Valeria Santiago 2) | im aware the scrapped ending video isnt recognized as canon, but i decided to include it in the list anyways. | used on both Shaun and Patrick.

1 - only seen on table

2 - only seen on table

3 - MOVING IN | Twenty-four months | HABIT had the machete in the beginning of MOVING IN before placing it on the table. in Twenty-four months, HABIT drags the blade across a picture of Vinny and a table while he himself is off screen. theres also a short clip a little over 2 minutes in of him holding a machete, but its hard to tell which one. im going to assume its this one as well..?

4 - only seen on table

5 - :D | Next | Severance (TribeTwelve) | GOODBYE (MLAndersen0) | HABIT is seen with this machete in hand in all of these videos. he usually only holds onto it in case its needed, but im sure he used it on both Jeff and Shaun. its definitely his go-to choice when it comes to his machetes.

6 - Slender Man (Crash621, aka the canon personal channel of Vinny) | HABIT attempted to stab Vinny with this blade and failed.

12 - Severance (TribeTwelve) | HABIT had this knife set aside at the table he was sitting at, later picking it up out of frustration when Noah wasnt understanding what he was trying to tell him.

13 - MOVING IN | HABIT was seen checking how sharp the blade was on this knife before placing it on the table.

14 - Next | GOODBYE (MLAndersen0) | Breaking the lease | in Next, the axe was not necessarily seen in the hands of HABIT, but was stuck in a tree by him. possibly used on Jeff. in GOODBYE and Breaking the lease, it was set against the wall of the attic unused.

list of weapons NOT ON THE TABLE:

15 - meat cleaver (Ryan & the SEVENTRIALSOFHABIT) | HABIT is seen holding a meat cleaver while rambling. all he does is attempt to approach Jeff with it while pretending to be Evan, causing Jeff to get startled and run away before anything can happen.

16 - hammer (:D) | its hard to see, but im pretty positive HABIT used a hammer on Jeffs fingers when torturing him. ouch.

17 - steak knife (Next) | while HABIT is talking to Daniel at the dining room table, there is a random steak knife laying in the middle of it. HABIT himself never handles the knife, but i assume he set it there to taunt Daniel since when choking him he went “OHH, WHATS THAT, A KNIFE? YEAH, YOU SHOULD GET THAT KNIFE…” before going “OHH NO, WHAT HAPPENED?” after Daniel failed to grab it.

18 - meat/bone saw (Next) | at the end of the video, HABIT takes a meat/bone saw from the hand of a corpse. he looks it over a bit before giving the camera a look and deciding to keep it.

(theres also a small selection of items on a table in the background of Next, but im not sure those count…?)

19 - chainsaw aka “REX” (Breaking the lease) | Vinny walked into the attic HABIT took Shaun into where we see that a chainsaw was sat on the floor. after HABIT walks in on Vinny, he asks him where Shaun is, causing HABIT to not give him a direct answer and instead change the subject by saying “DID YOU KNOW THAT I NAMED HIM REX? THE CHAINSAW, NOT SHAUN.” also while The Andersen Journals: Scrapped “Ending” isnt canon, it is mentioned in the video that he had sent pieces of Shaun to Patrick after using it on him. what a sick fuck.

20 - a pistol (Blue room + two thousand three hundred ninety-five) | in Blue room, HABIT left a note that read “HI, FIND MY FRIEND AND WE CAN HELP YOU :)” soon leading Vinny to find a gun clip and eventually a pistol hidden away in a drawer. in two thousand three hundred ninety-five, HABIT left the pistol and another note that read “NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SCREAM AND SHOUT THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE WAY OUT” on a table for Vinny. Vinny did use it on himself, but obviously that wasnt very fatal because we see this take place through footage Vinny himself is being shown. HABIT probably gets entertainment from this.

21 - shotgun (two thousand three hundred ninety-five + The day the world ended) | in two thousand three hundred ninety-five, HABIT is seen aiming the gun at Vinny when chasing him around the forest. he eventually catches up to Vinny and puts the gun to his head. in The day the world ended, HABIT doesnt actually ever really use the gun himself, he just uses it to teach Vinny how to aim and shoot. (IM AWARE THE INTENTIONS BEHIND THIS ARE BAD BUT LIKE aw 😭 i love that video) it also was later branded with the north star on the underside of it.

22 - an axe (Half-acre of ash) | HABIT cleans up an axe with a bloodied rag, we dont see him actually use it but its obvious he did SOMETHING with it.

23 - another knife (The day the world ended) | this knife was branded with the north star, but before it was branded, Vinny asked HABIT if it was a “special… uber knife” which made HABIT give him a look of offense, stating “THIS THING SUCKS, ITS A PIECE OF SHIT. ITS BARELY EVEN SHARP.”

(neither of these lists contain the times Evan has handled any weapons. this is completely focused on HABIT only)

did i need to list all that? no, but did i do it anyways? yes. MOVING ON, if i had to list this guys top 5 weapons in order of type he prefers, it would go something like this:

1. sharp machetes, he probably mainly digs billhook machetes and similar, but he doesnt seem too picky.

2. big knives, nothing small like a pocket knife but also not as big as a machete is either. the blade needs to be sharp.

3. REX the chainsaw. while he only used it one time that we know of, he enjoys it enough to name it. i believe its something he brings out during “special occasions” or when he wants to spice things up.

4. i feel like he might enjoy shotguns quite a bit. smaller guns like pistols are boring to him unless given to someone else to use as false protection or a fake way out. he seemed to have a lot of fun chasing Vinny around with his shotgun in two thousand three hundred ninety-five.

5. axes. we dont see him handle an axe often, but they do appear a couple times. i believe he uses them off screen a decent amount but definitely arent his go-to choice.

if i made any errors, feel free to correct me or tell me to add something! this post was a LOT and left me feeling a bit scatterbrained. i probably missed something but i tried my best to not do that.
