So I had like this idea for this nameless AU that's been bouncing around in my head like a bad song.

Sage, Ciel, Fox, and Joanna are immigrants from Vacuo to their current respective kingdoms (Vale/Atlas). Sage and Ciel are actually from the same people group that resides near where Shade academy currently stands. Throughout history, these people have been one of the few groups to establish a permanent settlement in Vacuo. They used the natural resources of Vacuo to their advantage, and as a result, have been responsible for many of the great technological advancements in Vacuo pre-colonization era. Fox and Joanna's people on the other hand, are more nomadic in nature. They pride themselves on being tough and adaptable to the harsh conditions of the ruthless desert. Their culture learns heavily towards stoicism, or avoiding too much outward emotion. This is a part of what has allowed them to continuously survive throughout the ages. Besides the differences between these two groups that I just mentioned, there's also a few physical differences between them as well. Ciel and Sage's group are humans, and they mostly have straight hair (because I liked the straight hair in their designs). Joanna and Fox's group are faunus (yes, they're faunus in this AU, more about that later), and have mostly curly/afro type hair (because I didn't like the straight hair in their designs.)

Fun fact: Sage and Ciel meet each other at Beacon, and they have this moment where they're SO EXCITED to see someone from their ethnic group, when there just aren't that many in Vale. And then they have this nice growing chemistry, and they like each other and-

Okay, hang on, I actually need to come up with names for the people groups I implement. This reads hella awkward.
