England, Greenwich (?), circa 1527
Steel, Gilding, copper alloy, leather
Sizes: height -185.4 cm. Weight: 28.45 kg. (armor)
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York
It is considered to be the oldest surviving armor from the royal workshops in Greenwich, founded by Henry VIII (reigned 1509-47) in 1514 to produce armor for himself and his court. Perhaps it is also the earliest surviving set from Greenwich — armor, complemented by a number of interchangeable and reinforcing elements

About
I'm Ren or Gawain, an alter in @tortureprincess's system. I love nature, studying, history, languages, science and arthurian legends. Bodily in 20s, but as an alter I am in my 30s!
I see myself in knights and tigers mostly.
