Mad Dog Has a Girlfriend?!
Summary: No one expected Kyoutani to have a girlfriend, much less one that loves physical affection as much as you do. They also didn't expect you to be from Tokyo or that you would stop by to see your boyfriend while you're home from the US. Surprise!
TW: A little canon divergent but not by much
A/N: This is a small crossover with Kuroko no Basket, but it's a small one, and none of the other characters make an appearance, but the reader does go to Shutoku and is Midorima's sister. It's barely mentioned though.
You had barely set foot on Seijoh soil and you were already lost.
You shouldn't have been surprised, but you were.
You glanced around the entrance, then spotted a familiar volleyball jacket, and you made your way over.
"Excuse me," you said, tugging on the boy's sleeve.
He turned to look at you, and you thought briefly that he looked like a turnip.
"Hi, so, I clearly don't go to this school, but I'm looking for the gym? My boyfriend plays volleyball here and I have no idea where I'm supposed to go."
"Oh! Um, well, we're about to start practice, but . . . I could walk you there if you wanted."
"Would you?" you asked, giving him a small smile. "I suck at directions."
"Well, I wouldn't want you to get lost, especially if you're here to see one of my teammates."
"I'm (Y/N)," you said, keeping pace with him as he turned down the hallway.
"Kindaichi Yuutarou," he replied, bowing his head to you.
"I knew I recognized you!" you said, nearly startling him. "I saw you play the last time I was home! You played well. My boyfriend thinks so too! You're a first year."
Kindaichi nodded.
"I'm a second year," you admitted, "but like I said earlier, I don't go here."
"Then where do you go?" Kindaichi asked.
"I go to a school in Tokyo, Shutoku," you told him.
"They have a strong basketball team, don't they?"
"Yeah, my brother plays, the guy that supposedly never misses," you said.
"Brother?"
"Yeah, we're twins," you admitted. "But he always acts like he's older than me."
"Kindaichi, there you are! Who's your friend?"
The man that spoke was one you recognized as Oikawa, Seijoh's main setter and captain.
"(Y/N)," you said, bowing slightly. "I'm just here to say hi to my boyfriend."
"Boyfriend?"
"Yeah, he plays for you," you told him.
"How old are you?" Oikawa asked. "And which one of my players has managed to snag you?"
"I'm a second year, so is my boyfriend. I think you'll be surprised by who it is Oikawa-san."
"You know who I am?"
"Of course, my boyfriend's told me all about his team," you replied.
Kindaichi opened the doors to the gym for you and you smiled at him.
You were met with the smell of sweat, and the sound of volleyballs slamming into the floor.
Your boyfriend took a running leap at a set, and you watched as he slammed it down, landing gracefully.
You whistled at him, drawing everyone's attention.
The entire gym tensed, waiting for the blond's reaction.
"Nice kill Ken," you told him, smiling brightly at him.
You had been face-timing, but seeing him in person was so much better than a small screen.
Kyoutani's face broke open in a grin, something that his team had never seen before.
"(Y/F/N)?"
"Hey puppy," you murmured, biting your lip.
He sprinted for you, and you grinned, letting him scoop you up and spin you around like a cliche movie scene.
"What are you doing here? I thought you weren't back for another month and a half!"
"Mom called me the other day and told me that we had a family emergency," you said. "Don't worry," you added when you saw the distressed look on his face, "no one's hurt. Well, kind of. My cousin is getting married next week and one of her bridesmaids just had a baby. She needs a replacement, and I was the lucky lotto winner."
"How long are you in town for?"
"Just today and part of tomorrow," you told him. "I'm staying with a family friend for the night so I can catch a later train back to Tokyo tomorrow. Jet lag is a bitch."
"How was L.A.?" he asked.
"Hot. Busy. Crowded," you muttered, leaning into him. "I don't know how Kagami-kun handled it for as long as he did. Although, that kid has enough resistance to handle pretty much anything other than his own temper."
"What are we witnessing?" Oikawa asked, eyes wide with shock.
"Oh, I probably should have mentioned that I've been in the U.S. for the last year, huh?" you asked, giving them a slightly embarrassed smile.
"You should have mentioned that our resident Kyouken-chan was your boyfriend!" Oikawa shrieked.
"You were serious when you said they call you 'Mad dog-chan'?" you asked.
"Yeah," he said, arms around your waist still. "Told you they were weird."
You chuckled, wrapping your arms around his neck.
"I missed you," you whispered.
"Missed you too."
"I can still hold the entire world in my hands though," you said, cupping his face, making his face flame.
"You know I was talking about the ball right?" he asked, trying to deflect but you laughed.
"Just call me a sap," you told him. "I know you want to."
"I do, but you already know, so there's no point in saying it again."
You smiled at him again, thumbing his cheek lightly.
"So this is why you don't pay attention to the girls in school!" Watari said, looking like a great mystery had been solved.
"That, and he acts like he has rabies," Yahaba muttered.
"Aw, are you being moody again?" you teased.
"Hey, I haven't gotten to see you in person since Christmas, sorry for missing my girlfriend," Kentarou said. "Besides, why can't girls just take a hint when you don't want them around?"
"You should be glad that we can't take a hint," you told him. "That's why you fell in love with me, remember?"
"I never wanted you to leave me alone though," Kentarou countered, "I just had the maturity of a twelve year old that hadn't hit puberty and didn't think about anything other than food, volleyball, and dogs. Not necessarily in that order."
"Fair enough, but I'm glad you didn't pinch me though," you replied.
"Have you guys ever seen him touch another human being for this long?" Matsukawa asked.
"No," they all replied.
"I've seen him hug his sister, and that's about it," Iwaizumi said, glancing at you. "Wait, you're his home screen."
"What?"
"He has a picture of you as his home screen on his phone," Iwaizumi said.
"It's a picture of us at your mom's birthday party last year," Kentarou told you.
"Which one?" you asked, dreading his answer.
"I think you know the one angel."
"I hate you."
"You love me and you know it."
"They aren't exclusively separate emotions," you muttered, burying your face in his chest.
"If it makes you feel any better," Iwaizumi said, "I think I'm the only one who's seen it."
Your phone rang in your back pocket, distracting you.
"It's my brother," you muttered.
"Mom wants to know if you've landed," your brother said when you answered.
"Well hello to you too," you grumbled. "No warm greeting for your beloved sister?"
"Hello."
"Thanks Shin. Yeah, I've landed. I'm with Kentarou right now."
You heard your brother groan, and you rolled your eyes, listening to him relaying the message to your mother.
"Hey, I don't complain about Takao when he stops by!"
"That's because you two are closer than Kagami and Kuroko."
"Except that we're not the ones dating. Besides, your hands wander more than Ken's do. And you can't deny that they don't. Do I need to bring up New Years?"
"Speaking of, Dad says-"
"I don't need to know what Dad says!" you yelped. "I know what he doesn't want to happen! But when I get back my room better be the way I left it. I don't want any more mishaps. If I find something you and your boyfriend are dead. Understand?"
"Yeah, I get it. Have you checked your hor-"
You hung up on him before he could lecture you about your lucky item for the day.
You took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as you stared up at the ceiling.
"Don't kill him, don't kill him," you muttered.
Kentarou snorted.
"I have to go, but I already texted you everything you need to know," you told your boyfriend, who pouted.
"Can't you stay?"
"I wish I could, but I'm tired as hell, and I promised Alex that I would call her. Besides, you have practice."
"If you wanted," Oikawa interrupted, "you're more than welcome to stay."
"Are you sure? I don't want to be a distraction or anything."
"You'll be fine, besides, Kyouken-chan can walk you to wherever you're staying after."
You already knew your boyfriend wanted you stay, and when you glanced around at the others, they didn't seem to be eager to get rid of you either.
"Okay, I'll just call so that they know I'm gonna be a little late to dinner."
"I love you," Kentarou whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"I love you too," you told him. "But seriously, get back to practice."
He stayed with you for a few more moments, arms around your waist, trying to keep you as close as possible for as long as possible before he pulled away.
"You're gonna stay until it's over, right?"
"I promise I'll be here," you told him, sitting off to the side.
He played well for the rest of practice, and he kept glancing at you with a small smile, something that seemed to freak his teammates out.
"Do you wanna go to the wedding with me?" you asked as you walked with him.
"Am I going to have to deal with your brother and his boyfriend?"
"No, they have a training tournament coming up."
"Then yes."
"He really gets under your skin, doesn't he?" you asked.
"More than he does yours. I don't like people that don't like the sports that they play."
"It's not that he doesn't like the sport," you told him. "It's just that he's not into team play. He likes being able to do things himself. Not as much as Daiki-kun, but similar. He's just starting to realize that he needs the team as much as the team needs him. Takao is another big part of that."
Kentarou grunted, and you pinched his side playfully.
"That was you until recently," you reminded him.
"Maybe that's another reason I don't like him. But I will put him with him."
"Why?"
"Because of you," he said, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
"Sap."
He hummed as you walked up the driveway.
You both stood there for a few moments before you wrapped your arms around him.
"I'm not doing anything for the week, I'm all caught up on my work," you told him. "Why don't I come visit you after your practices?"
"You had better," he muttered, burying his face in your hair. "I haven't seen you in forever."
"I know, but I'm back full time next year, then you can deal with my presence all you want."
"Don't threaten me with a good time angel."
You snorted, breathing him in before you pulled away.
"Give your sister a hug for me Ken, and make sure you eat something when you get back. It's getting late."
"Promise me you'll visit?"
"Yes, you separation anxiety riddled puppy. I promise to visit as much as I can and as much as your captain will allow."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
He kissed you goodnight, then headed home, and you couldn't help but smile as he walked away.
You really did love him.

“god. you’re so insufferable!”
“and you’re kinda stupid! are we complaining? no, we aren’t!”
“who scored higher on last week’s test? hm?”
“…”
“why are you so quiet suddenly? huh?!”
“why do they literally fight like kindergarteners?” suga sighed.
daichi nodded. “we can’t do anything though. she’s our best assistant manager ever, and he’s one of our best blockers. I wish they could get along better.”
“just sit down, guys, please,” asahi begged.
“if you won’t give me the window seat, i’ll just sit on you,” I warned tsukki. he seemed unbothered, as if silently saying ‘as if you’d do that’. his growing smirk was magnificently taunting. “you’ve known me for years, tsukki. you know i’ll do it.” I taunted.
when he didn’t reply, pretending to look out the window of the bus, I shuffled closer and plopped down onto his lap. I felt him freeze below me.
I turned around to face him. “what? didn’t think i’d actually do it? I want the window seat, and i’m not giving it up.”
he looked up at me. his glasses were low on his nose, so I unconsciously pushed them up with one of my fingers. his cheeks were beginning to get dusted in light pink, as he turned away again.
⌞controlling my universe like it’s on my hand… ⌝
“jesus, okay— move— i’ll get up,” he muttered. I breathed out a chuckle of satisfaction, and stood up. I moved out so he could too, and we switched places ending with me in the window seat and a grumbling tsukishima beside me.
“see, I knew you had some sense left in you, kid,” I said, rubbing salt in his wound. he hated when I called him a ‘kid’ just because I was six months older than him.
instead of retorting, he just rolled his eyes and pulled his earphones upto his ears, resuming his music, completely ignoring me. I smirked at the faint blush on the side of his neck.
⌞even people’s hearts seemed to be more obvious yeah...⌝
I took my headphones, reading book and sketchbook out of my bag and tucked it in under my seat after closing every zip.
it was a long bus ride to the training camp in osaka, and I had fallen asleep at some point.
when I woke up, my head was on something soft. I turned a bit to my side to be met with tsukishima’s sleeping face. I realised that our heads had been laying against each other’s.
he still hadn’t woken up, so I put my head back against his, and fell asleep again.
꒰🏐꒱﹒ timeskip ﹒⟢ ⩇⩇:⩇⩇
I was still asleep, when I began hearing some buzzing and some click!s. I opened my eyes to see the karasuno boys gathered around me, snapping pictures. confused, I looked around and realised that tsukishima and I were still resting our heads on the other.
his head now lolled on my shoulder, and I glared at the team. I tapped gently on his head to wake him up.
“tsukki? we’re here,” I whispered. in my periphery, I saw the boys exchanging glances.
“5 more minutes, n/n, please,” he groaned.
“we’re not at home, kei,” I grumbled at him. “we’re at osaka already.”
“wha— oh my god, I forgot about the-” he sat up suddenly. “-training camp.”
“yeah, yeah, get your stuff and let’s move.”
the boys started getting off the bus one after the other, and tsukki and I got down last.
we thanked the bus driver, and followed suga.
“how far do we have to walk?” hinata asked, and everyone ignored him.
noya and I were trailing behind most of them, only tsukki and yamaguchi behind us. we were talking about his receives.
“y/n, didn’t you say you played as a libero for your team? so… could you maybe teach me some of your moves?” he asked, slowly.
“oh, you remember that?” I blushed a little at the thought of him remembering something important to me. “and yeah, of course I can! i’d love to.”
he gave me a small grin. “great, thanks a lot, y/n! do you have any plans for tomorrow?”
“well, tomorrow’s your rest day, right? training starts from the day after, so… i’m pretty much free all day today and tomorrow.”
“then, do you wanna hang out tomorrow? we could go to the nishikonohama beach. apparently there are some beach volleyball matches being held there, this entire week. maybe we could play together!” he jumped around, excited.
“sounds like a plan, noya,” I smiled at him.
I told him about his form when he receives oikawa’s serves, and noya listened intently. he was so passionate about his role in the team, and it showed.
meanwhile, I also felt tsukki’s gaze sharply on the back of my head.
we continued talking to each other, and by the end of our conversation, we had also reached the dorms we were going to be staying at.
“okay, guys, heads up. ukai-san, takeda-sensei, and kiyoko-san arrived two days ago already, so they could start preparing everything, and to meet the other teams’ managers. so, those three already have a room together now.” daichi explained.
“daichi, asahi and I are bunking together. plus we still have one more bed free too,” suga piped in.
“the limit is four people per dorm, so you guys can decide who you want to share with. we have two more rooms left.” daichi finished.
everyone started chattering at the same time.
noya, tanaka, kageyama, and hinata decided on a room together.
“tsukki, as much as I love you, you snore a lot. and I need some sleep tonight. i’ll bunk with you from tomorrow, but today, i’m going with suga-san,” yamaguchi commented, skipping away to the seniors.
tsukishima scrunched his nose cutely, and pretended to be annoyed.
“so that leaves… tsukishima and y/n,” suga said, crossing out names from his paper. “I doubt you two would do anything other than kill each other, so you can bunk together, I suppose.”
“please don’t kill each other, though. you’re both valuable members of the karasuno volleyball club,” daichi pleaded.
the both of us side-eyed each other but nodded anyway, grimacing.
⌞a crack called you in my tiny world...⌝
asahi bought us all our favourite drinks from the vending machine, and then we went to our dorms to unpack. we’d be staying here for two weeks for training.
I took out my jersey and hung it on a hanger, along with my other clothes.
“still taking it with you everywhere, hm?” tsukki’s voice sounded from the bed. I turned to find him smiling fondly. “that’s such a y/n thing to do.”
I raised my eyebrows, and went back to arranging my clothes in the tiny closet. tsukki had already gotten his clothes up on the hangers, leaving me little space.
“are you free tonight?” I suddenly asked, turning to face him again. he inhaled sharply, so I reconsidered. “never— nevermind. forget I asked.” I sighed lightly.
“i’m free, why?” he asked.
“nothing. never mind. it’s not that big of a deal.”
“tell me anyway.”
after a moment of thinking, I finally replied. “there’s a free concert very closeby, and I have entry to the vip side because of a friend and… I just thought it’d be boring to go alone. and the other boys would probably never come, so.”
“…whose concert?” he asked.
“will you come?” I asked, suddenly excited.
“sure, but whose concert is it?”
⌞where everything’s easy with a sincere smile...⌝
“oh. my. god! thank you so much tsukki! i’ll repay you somehow, I promise!” I grinned.
he kept grumbling the whole time we were both getting ready to go to the concert.
we notified daichi and suga, and they told both our coaches too. they let us go with a ‘don’t get kidnapped, you’re our favourite assistant manager, y/n-san’.
꒰🏐꒱﹒ timeskip ﹒⟢ ⩇⩇:⩇⩇
“you brought me to a suki waterhouse concert.” tsukki stated.
“…yes? is there a problem?” I asked, passing it off as nonchalance.
“let me add some words to that sentence: you brought me to a suki waterhouse, and didn’t tell me to change when I showed up wearing this?” he asked, and looked down at himself.
he was wearing black baggy jeans with grey stars patched across them, paired with a plain white shirt and a cat-ear beanie. he got his cross-body bag which had our phones and his earphones in them. he looked… kind of very cute.
“i’m not seeing the problem yet,” I narrowed my eyes at him.
“look at your outfit, and then look at mine,” he grumbled.
I pointed to my black summer dress and leather jacket, with my favourite boots. “still don’t see a problem.”
“you look like a goddess, and I look homeless,” he stated plainly. I burst out laughing, tipping my head back.
I laughed so hard, I was practically crying. I wiped the tears away, and pushed my hair out of my face.
“two lies in the same sentence,” I rolled my eyes at him. “let’s go, kei, come on.” I tugged on his hand, wrapping my fingers around his, dragging him with me.
he stilled for a moment before trailing behind me. his hand was warm under my cold one, balancing it out. his thin fingers gradually wrapped around my own.
⌞you’re a bit different and you still shaking me up...⌝
we reached the vip section, and I showed the vip passes to the security. they let us in, and we walked around trying to find our seat.
hearing some girls whispering nearby, I scoffed and clutched tsukki’s hand tighter.
the concert began, and I couldn’t help but sway to the music. suki’s songs did have a special place in my heart.
𐔌 . ⋮ tsukki’s pov .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱ ⨾
throughout the concert, I couldn’t help but watch y/n. the way she sang every song. the way her voice hit the right notes, even if she was just casually vibing. the way her smile showed off all her teeth… because the last time I saw that smile was when we were kids.
maybe I did kind of miss the way we used to be: carefree, and thoughtless.
maybe… if we were still like that, I could’ve just told her how I felt about her. how i’ve been feeling about her, for the past six years.
she turned to me, her eyes glittering under the lights. her smile finally reached her eyes as well.
⌞your eyes and the way of talking in style…⌝
I continued watching y/n as she sang. her voice luring me closer, as if she were a siren.
“the skyline falls as I try to make sense of it all.” she looked like she could sing me to my death, and hell, i’d let her.
I spent the entire concert preoccupied looking at her and listening to her. I could never stop thinking about y/n, I suppose.
she looked drowsy and exhausted by the time the concert was over.
“tired?” I asked.
“nah.”
we were walking back to the dorms, since it was quite close.
“you just yawned thrice in under a minute,” I pointed out.
“maybe a little bit,” she said, squinting her eyes, slowly rubbing them from under her glasses.
I took out a cover from my bag, and unwrapped slippers from them.
“you carried my slippers with you?” her eyes widened.
“take off your boots. the hard soles probably hurt.” I guided her to sit down on a nearby bench.
I bent down onto one knee as she sat down. I slowly unlaced her boots and pulled them off, replacing them with her slippers. I placed the boots in the cover, wrapped them up, and put them back in my bag. I got up and dusted my jeans, and looked down at her.
she was looking up at me, siren eyes and all, as if daring me to lose my mind even by looking at her.
⌞oh, it’s like living in a different world…⌝
𐔌 . ⋮ y/n’s pov .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱ ⨾
I cleared my throat after what felt like an hour of staring up at him, while he looked down quietly.
“we should… get going. yeah,” I said. “thanks.”
he nodded, grabbing my hand gently and pulling me up from the bench.
I had forgotten my earphones at the dorm, and his were already out of battery, so I opened my spotify and played the music out loud.
‘hold my hand’ by stray kids started playing from my phone’s speakers.
I felt tsukki’s eyes on me as I spun around in circles while walking and skipping. well, he could glare all he wanted, or whatever. I don’t care. I think.
well… maybe I do care. a little bit?
by the time we reached the dorms, my playlist was still running, and tsukki was as tired as I was.
we didn’t bother to lock the door, and both of us fell onto the bed after closing the door. the single bed in the entire room, with no other couches. it didn’t really matter though, I suppose, since we’d shared beds lots of times as kids.
I threw my leg and arm around him, and began falling asleep slowly. he turned to face me, and his hand came to rest on my head. his other hand was rubbing circles on my shoulder.
I guess he still remembers how I used to fall asleep.
“good night, n/n. sleep well,” he whispered, and pulled my glasses off gently, followed by his own.
“night, kei. you too.” I was tracing the outline of his jaw and my eyes started drooping; my hands never leaving his face.
oh, how I wish I could pull him closer right then to kiss him.
his arms wrapped tighter around me, and I found myself feeling warm even during the chilliest hours of the night.
⌞baby, regardless of my head, my heart looks after you, after I met you...⌝

h-hatesex with enemy!rin please..? 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 please gang please
otherwise
rin itoshi smut being paired with him during a group project
enemy!rin hate sex mdni @shidoglazer
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you expected him to reach at 6 p.m. anyways, considering how he didn’t have any regard for anyone else other than himself. but surprisingly, he showed up at your doorstep 4 p.m. sharp, dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants while one of his backpack straps was hanging off his shoulder. much to your demise, your mom was the one who answered the door, and she just couldn’t stop fawning about how handsome he was. god.
“woh! you must be my daughters little college friend right? what a handsome young man you are, look at your eyes .. they’re so sharp and-” she was about to reach out to push rins bangs out of his face before you stepped in, and you swore you felt rins aura become tense when he saw you. there was a clear rivalry tension between you two. “thats enough, ma, we need to work on this project.” to which she giggles and winks to you like she’s trying to tell you to get together with him. which is nothing but infuriating.
you bring rin up to your room, shutting the door as you sat down at your study desk. “didn’t know you had so much consideration to show up on ti-” you turned your head to look at him, and he was still standing at the doorway looking completely mortified.
“..what the hells wrong with you?” “whats wrong with me? look at this room. its a trash island.” and theres nothing on your floor except a few pieces of clothes. fucking clean freak, you think.
“you’re a grown man. bear with it.” rins face looked like he just saw a ghost, slowly stepping into your room and heading over to where you were, sitting on the chair beside you and placing the bag on the floor. “your room smells.” “must’ve been your fault.”, the silence continues on, the only sounds heard is your pen scribbling against the paper. while rin .. just stares at you.
“so. what am i supposed to do? can’t you just do the work for me?” you were about to snap this pen in half from how hard you were gripping it out of anger. “you need to write a 10 page essay about community and social issues. that’s what.” rin hummed in acknowledgment as if he was just testing you, starting to get his paper out and starting to write.
though not even after a few minutes of writing, he’s already slumped against the table, staring at you again. his paper is blank except for his name and the date. you stare back at him when you notice his god awful posture.
“what the hell do you think you’re doing?”
“i don’t know how to write it.” he sounds like a confused and bored toddler at this point. you were going to rip this man in half. you took a deep breath and slapped the back of his head, and you felt heat radiating off of him. “you’re infuriating, itoshi rin.”
he got up from that slouched position, “this picture says otherwise.” he opens up his phone and you can almost guess what he’s gonna show you. “you’re trying to play the same trick on me? well- what. the. fuck.” you were quickly humbled when you saw text messages you sent to your friend,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“raw?” he cocks an eyebrow at you, and you’re internally freaking the fuck out. “i- i.. i hate you, fuck you, stupid bitch!” you can’t defend yourself anymore, so spurting out random insults will do for now. just for now though. “okay. sure.”
Tumblr media
“you’re prettier with that mouth shut.” “i-.. i hic! hate you..” your voice was shaky, fat blobs of tears falling down your cheeks as he had you on the desk, anything that was from your waist down was stripped completely while his cock was plunging in and out of you.
it wasn’t sweet or romantic, he fucked you like he hated you (which he does, but still) but yet you couldn’t help but want more. its not your fault he was hitting all your sweet spots perfectly, its not your fault that his cock was so big that he couldn’t fit all of it in your little , pathetic hole. it wasn’t your fault your body just started grinding on him on its own!
“the feeling is mutual.” yet you both were clinging onto each others bodies like a lifeline. your arms wrapped tightly around his chest, pulling you both together while he was gripping onto the back of your thighs that were basically cum-soaked
you couldn’t make any noise, your mom was downstairs and your door unlocked, to which you have to bury your face into his shoulder, inhaling the scent of his cologne each time you breathed, and you couldn’t believe yourself when you felt your own walls clench around his cock whenever you did, “fuck.. you’re clenching too tight, fuck’s wrong with you?” “if y’don’t kissmerightnowimgonnaburnyourhousedown,”
you lifted up your head from his shoulder, his tears and drool-soaked shoulder to look at rin. his eyebrows were furrowed and he was biting his own lip, eyes peeking up just so slightly so he could see your face. “you’re fucking pathetic.” and that probably makes both of you equal from how fast he dived in to kiss you. you could feel the blood drawing out of his lips seep onto your tongue, and one might have suspect you as a vampire they saw you desperately sucking on his lips for more.
it was only a matter of time before you both pulled away, you looked up at him, batting your eyelashes as you let out the softest, sweetest moans. rin was blushing. hard. but obviously he’d never admit that, raising one hand to slap your face though firmly but not enough to hurt. your eyebrows furrowed at that, gripping and tugging on his hair back as “revenge”, but you both know you felt his cock twitch in you as you did.
“fuck y’think y’re doing?” his breathing was ragged, voice shaky and unstable yet he tried his best to seem intimidating, like how he usually was, though the rin you were seeing right now was a hot, blushing mess. “don’t pretend you don’t enjoy t- fuck! sstop, slow down! rin, rin rinnie— haahh.. rinnie!” you let the nickname slip, arms tightening around him as he suddenly started pounding into you at a ravenous pace, the sound of your skin slapping together continuously was definitely loud enough for anyone to hear.
“its rin, brat.” he took a deep sigh, and if you had a microphone to his mouth you’d be able to hear his soft whimpers whenever he exhaled. “m’close, inside or out?” but you were basically fucked dumb at this point from his pace, tears falling down your face from pleasure as you felt a knot in your stomach, “d-don’t knoww..” rin clicked his tongue in frustration, and just as soon as he was on the edge, you came with your clit untouched and he quickly pulled out, starting to stroke himself, releasing his cum on your stomach as he let out a low groan. “fuck..”
you both stayed there idle for a few moments, nothing exchanged between you two except laboured breaths. you fell limp against the wall behind you as he let go of you, grabbing a few tissues to wipe his cum off your stomach, then pulling his pants back up casually. “i’ll see you tomorrow.” and you immediately shot up, “what?! no! you just fucked me and you’re leaving immediately?..” ..you didn’t know how to feel. it was bittersweet. though, mostly bitter.
“what else do you want me to do?” “..just expected some, after care or something. whatever.” the way you frowned made rin feel nauseous. (his way of saying having butterflies in his stomach) and he groaned in annoyance, picking you up effortlessly and throwing you over his shoulder like you were just a sack of potatoes. “wheres your bathroom?” “ah!- rin! i, um. the right side,” he let out a hum of acknowledgement before heading to the bathroom.
he set up a bath, threw you in and grabbed a random towel from the cabinets, setting it beside the tub. you fell asleep almost instantly after being soaked in warmth.

A letter to you
Tumblr media
Sypnosis:The final letter Dabi Touya sent you before the final battle.
Pairing :T. Todoroki x Reader
Two posts in a day? Its a miracle lowk
Tumblr media
Dear [Name],
By the time this letter reaches you, I’ll probably be dead. I plan on making sure this arrives unscathed at your side, since I’m aware you’d still be in a coma when it arrives. I’m a little disappointed I won’t get to see your pretty face on the battlefield, but it’s better than you getting hurt. To start off, I ask you to forgive me for everything. I know I wasn’t the one who put you in your state, but I still apologize for that nonetheless.
Now, this letter isn’t for me to apologize like some beggar. I just want you to know my thoughts. I’d rather I not die without giving you a clear conscience. I know when I left that night without a word it hurt you. You really shouldn’t forgive an asshole like me, I hurt you in ways words can’t describe when you’ve been nothing but understanding towards me. So, I hope that through this letter, you get to understand me more. Because in the one hundred thirty-six days, three minutes, and five seconds we’ve known each other, I never really opened up to you.
The first time I met you, I thought you were a lunatic. I was injured, on the brink of death, and about to pass in peace but then I saw you. I thought that ‘this is it; I die to the hands of some hero without putting up a fight.’ Yet my demise never came. You took care of my injuries, brought me to your home and treated me like a human being.
What hero tries to talk it out with a villain? Newsflash, you, apparently. I’d like to inform you that you have not changed my views on heroes at all. I still believe they are all self-serving assholes that don’t care about anything other than themselves. I loathe them all… except you. If anyone is going to make the hero society a better place, it’s going to be you.
I don’t think the hero commission took it well when they found out we were having rendezvous’, eh? I always told ya we’d get caught one day. I knew that if I stayed, you’d be in bigger trouble than you already were. I truly believe it was for the better good when I left you that night. Yet with that being said, I’ll never regret meeting up with you every now and then.
You were definitely one of the good things in this hell. I haven’t found myself enjoying someone’s company in a long time. You’re some sort of blessing- to me and the world. I’m not super religious myself, but if there is some God out there, I’m real grateful they made you a part of my life. I haven’t been good enough for the God’s to respond to me, but for some reason they sent me you and I don’t plan on letting you go.
But that’s a lie and we both know it. Technically- I am letting you go. I’ve done it multiple times, actually. Kept pushing you away again and again but you kept coming back. Why is that?
I don’t deserve a soul as kind as yours. You were my light in the darkness, or however the saying goes. I think somewhere along the way I dimmed that light. There are times where not even the brightest of lights work. It’s not your fault, anyway. Because you did get rid of the emptiness I’ve always felt. I ruined myself on my own terms. I’ve always been fucked from the start.
You almost succeeded with your goal on changing me. When you told me to hide away with you? I almost caved in. To tell you the truth, I could never say no to you. You’re everything to me, minus the L.O.V, but they aren’t important right now. You are the one place I’d call home.
It is incredibly selfish for me to say that I’d like to keep you at my side forever. I bring pain wherever I go, and you- dear hero, are too kind to be treating a villain like this. I’d rather you hate me than going off and trying to save me. We both know I’m too far gone. Nonetheless, I appreciate the fact you thought I was capable of change. At some point, you made me believe it, too.
You’ll be the only thing I’m going to miss after I’m gone- that and crashing at your place. The time I’ve spent with you is something I’ll cherish, which we know is rare coming from me. You’d be the seven minutes before my death. I would’ve loved to run away and hide with you, [Name]. You saved me in every way possible. But I am driven by hate that even I can’t escape. I will do anything it takes to take down Endeavor, even if it means bringing down myself with him.
So, for the first and the last time, I love you, [Name].
Love, Touya Todoroki.

ft. timeskip katsuki bakugo
summary: you and katsuki got into a fight last night but he’s not leaving the next day without his kiss.
Tumblr media
“You Still Mad?”
The sun had barely risen, casting a warm, hazy glow through the bedroom window, but you were still wrapped up in last night’s argument like a thick-ass winter coat. You hadn’t even looked at Bakugo since you both woke up, let alone spoken a word to him.
He noticed. Of course, he did.
Now, he stood by the front door, arms crossed, already in his hero gear, watching you with narrowed crimson eyes. His gauntlets hung from his belt, meaning he was giving you extra time before heading out.
“Tch,” he sucked his teeth. “You still actin’ like that?”
You didn’t answer, just sat on the couch, scrolling through your phone, legs tucked under you.
Bakugo took a slow step forward, then another. “Y’know I ain’t leavin’ without my shit, so you might as well quit actin’ funny.”
Silence.
His jaw twitched. “Oh, so we playin’ this game?”
Still nothing.
Bakugo exhaled sharply through his nose before yanking his gloves tighter. “Alright.”
Before you could react, he marched over, plucked the phone right out of your hands, and tossed it onto the couch.
“The fu—Bakugo!” You snapped, looking up at him.
“There it is.” He smirked, tilting his head. “Finally got your attention.”
You folded your arms, scowling. “You really that pressed over a damn kiss?”
He scoffed, looking down at you like you were the dumbest person alive. “Uh, yeah? That’s my good luck for the day. You want me out there fightin’ villains without my daily dose of you?”
Your lips twitched, but you forced the smile down, turning your head away from him.
Bakugo, not having any of that, leaned down, caging you in with his arms on either side of you. “Oh, so now you mute?”
You rolled your eyes. “Katsuki, go to work.”
“You know I’m not leavin’ without my shit.”
He was so close, his breath tickled your skin. His scent—warm spice and a little bit of leftover sleep—wrapped around you. You hated how familiar it was, how much you’d miss it if he actually left without kissing you goodbye.
“Why do you even care?” You muttered. “I’m still mad at you.”
“Yeah, yeah, you say that,” he murmured, fingers slipping under your chin to tilt your face up. “But I know you. You don’t wanna be mad anymore.”
You huffed, but his touch was soft, gentle. A contrast to how brash he usually was.
His thumb traced your bottom lip. “Lemme fix it.”
Before you could protest, he kissed you. Slow. Deep. It wasn’t just some quick peck or heated make-out session. It was that I-know-you-love-me-so-stop-frontin’ kinda kiss.
And, like a damn fool, you melted into it.
His hands slid down, gripping your waist, pulling you even closer. His lips moved with yours, lazy but demanding, like he had all the time in the world. Then, right when he knew he had you, SMACK.
His palm connected with your ass, making you gasp into his mouth.
Bakugo smirked against your lips. “There she is.”
You shoved at his chest, but he barely budged. “Your so damn annoying.”
“Yeah?” He nipped at your lip before pulling back, smug as ever. “But you still love me.”
You exhaled, finally giving in. “Yeah, yeah. I love you.”
“Damn right you do.” He leaned down, stealing one more kiss, slow and sweet, before finally stepping back.
You watched as he grabbed his gauntlets and strapped them on, the usual cocky attitude in full effect. Right as he reached the door, he turned back, grinning. “Oh, and don’t think I didn’t catch that lil’ smile. You ain’t slick.”
You rolled your eyes, but he saw the way you bit your lip.
Bakugo chuckled, shaking his head. “See you later, dumbass.”
And just like that, he was gone, leaving you sitting there, heart still racing.

↪𝙃𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙧, 𝙄 𝙀𝙣𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪
Tw: mentions of s.a, panick attacks and murder. Please proceed with caution
Tumblr media
It seemed a peaceful evening that one.
He was waiting for you to come back from work, lazily zapping through tv programs, totally uninterested.
His ears perked up at the sound of the door closing — like a puppy waiting for the return of his owner. He peeked his head to look over the sofa, watching with a soft smile as you entered the living room.
The "welcome home" he was about to spell died on his tongue.
Something felt...off.
You stormed through the room, frenzied — hurriedly removing all your clothes as if they were scorching your skin and throwing them unceremoniously on the floor. You didn't speak a word, not even acknowledge his presence in the living room.
You ran to the bathroom like your life depended on reaching it, slamming the door so carelessly you didn't register it only bounced off the hinges and wasn't closed properly.
A weird feeling settled at the pit of his stomach like a boulder. Something wasn't right.
He joined you in the bathroom, expertly avoiding your clothes scattered on the floor.
A frown curled his brows downwards — you were kneeled under the shower stream, just by the look of it it seemed boiling hot, you hugged yourself, nails scratching the reddening skin as if trying desperately to erase something, your breathing inconsistent and rugged.
He was worried sick at this point, but lucid enough to understand any direct movement towards you could trigger something far worse.
He sat outside the shower's fogging walls, beside you — head pressed on the glass and with a clear view of your trembling figure.
“Honey” he spoke, warm and deep and clear. You twitched, as if realizing just now there was someone else with you.
“Talk to me. Did something happen?”
All your movements stopped and he didn't know whether to feel relieved or worried.
After a few moments of silence you finally uttered a sentence, your voice a trembling whisper. “Can you please get me a towel?”
He obeyed without fuss, standing outside the shower waiting patiently for you to come out.
You let yourself get embraced by the towel and him, basking in his natural scent that brought you so needed comfort. He combed a few wet locks from your face, not giving a damn if his clothes were getting soaked, waiting expectantly for you to say something.
“Would you like something warm to drink? I can whip you up that tea you like to calm yourself. Or maybe you'd prefer lying down in bed—”
“No.” you interrupted him, voice brittle. “I…I just want to stay like this…for a moment longer.”
He didn't add anything else. He stood there with you wrapped around your towel, gently rocking you back and forth, coddling you and making you feel protected. He held you for what felt like hours — his silence a much needed reassurance.
“Are you stable enough to tell me what happened to sending you plunging in this state?” he asked, the need to understand like a heavy anvil.
You sighed deeply, hands snaking around his back for solace.
“I had just left the office and was on my way home. I didn't want to take a taxi, you know you have to tighten the belt every now and then... — you faked a laugh and he remained silent — So I was going to take the subway. As I walked I had the sensation of being followed. I thought it was just my silly paranoia and ignored it. Once on the train everything seemed fine and then...then this guy got behind me, close. Too close. I could feel his breath on my neck. He wasn't directly touching me so I couldn't make a scene and the train was packed… It made me feel uncomfortable.”
He kept listening, his worry gradually morphing into rage.
“I got off at my stop and tried to blend in with the crowd, making sure I'd outrun him before I got home but...he found me. — you felt his grip tightening around your shoulders — He grabbed me by the arm and slapped a hand on my mouth and dragged me into a public bathroom, I... I was terrified...”
He kept listening, silent fury building up, as you relived those horrifying moments — he did felt a twinge of proudness as you told him you planted your heels into that fucker's shins to get away.
“You basically reached home by autopilot…” he murmured.
A sob made you choke, you grabbed onto him like he was the safest rock you could hold during a storm.
“I just feel so…disgusting. — you cried — My skin…where he touched…feels so dirty. Filthy. Disgustingly grimy. I'm not sure water alone can wash this…”
“You suffered something horrible, I understand. If you need a few days to recover I’ll be more than glad to call your office.” and before you can decline his offer or say something else he beat you to it. “And if you dare say that it’s your fault I’m going to drill my piece of mind straight into your skull. In no way, shape or form you being assaulted by a random, cowardly sack of shit like that guy was your fault. Was I clear enough?”
You nodded, a soft sigh came out of him as his heart lulled you calm.
“Now, let me help clean you up and dress in something warm. If you feel comfortable with it.”
It was now the dead of the night. You slept, curled under some sheets that smelled like him. He caressed your cheek, still damp with the river of tears you shed as you’d cried yourself to sleep. He left your apartment in total silence, mind made up and rage seething underneath his midnight black outfit.
He got on the streets, searching every alley like a predator on the hunt. He didn’t need any description of his target — he knew exactly what to look for, and as he locked in the figure hiding behind a corner, ready to ambush his next victim, that’s when he striked.
Merciless, crude — deep down enjoying the pain he caused to that sad waste of space that dared to touch you. It was over in a blink of an eye, like pinning a butterfly to a wall, the guy’s screams dying in the obscurity of the night.
As he cleaned himself from the remaining blood that stained him, his thoughts went to you. As much as he loved benign your solid anchor in a moment of distress he missed seeing your smile — the same smile he vowed to protect. Will that smile be back on your lips, relived, maybe joyful, in knowing the one that caused your distress was wiped feom existence?
One last glance at the corpse he left for the police to find and off he went back in the darkness where he came from, back to you still peacefully asleep.
A delighted smile curled his lips upwards. What hurt you wouldn't cause you harm no more.

dabi was leaning lazily against the side of his pitch black car, when you hushed down the stairs of tomura's apartment building to meet him. in his right hand was his phone, that he was haphazardly tapping on and in his left was an untouched coffee cup. nestled between his lips was, of course, a lit cigarette. his eyes locked onto you making your way across the parking lot and he shot his sitter a last message before letting his phone slide into the pocket of his black jeans. by the time you reached him, he had taken another long drag of his cigarette, exhaling the smoke faced away from you. you wanted to tell him, that you didn't mind, but your rising nerves had you bite your tongue.
his eyes flitted up and down your body before landing on your eyes. he noticed, that you were a bit shifty on your feet and given how he'd last seen you, the anxious state you were in now, didn't exactly surprise him. with a playful smile he took the cigarette from between his teeth and held the coffee cup out for you to take.
"thanks." you muttered, eyes darting immediately to the liquid sloshing around the ice cubes in the cup. your fingers clawed into the plastic, as if you were holding onto that coffee cup for dear life. you took a sip, surprised to find that it tasted exactly the way you usually ordered it.
when you looked up at dabi with your eyebrows knit in confusion, he just offered you a lazy grin. "not good?" his eyes studied your expression.
you shook your head, taking tiny sips of the drink. "no, no, it's really good." he grinned, watching the wheels turn in your head. even if only for a couple of seconds, he had given you something else to focus your attention on, than whatever terrified you so much about this evening.
dabi took one last drag of his cigarette before crushing it against the side of a trash can and throwing it out. he nodded his head toward the car. "ready?" you sighed, feeling the exact opposite of ready. but you knew, you had no other choice. "as i'll ever be." you walked around to the passenger side of the car and let yourself drop into the seat. he followed suit and sat in the driver's seat a moment later. without another word spoken between the two of you, you punched your mother's address into his car's navigation system as he backed out of the parking lot.
the first ten minutes of the drive, neither of you spoke a word. you were still nibbling at the coffee and dabi's eyes were focused on the road, though you missed the few times, he glanced over to the passenger seat.
"you ever gonna tell me what's got you so freaked out about this?" his eyes were on you for a bit longer now. though he kept the car pretty steady. your eyes slowly peeled away from him, finding comfort in staring at the slowly emptying plastic cup. he deserved an answer, you knew that. he had agreed to drive up to a stranger's mother's house to have dinner and asked basically no questions about it all. so, yeah, it was safe to say, that he deserved at least some kind of answer.
"my mom and i don't exactly have the most normal of relationships." your eyes were still glued to the last couple of sips of coffee, that you had left. too embarrassed to look at dabi. he wasn't saying a word, waiting for you to continue. not that, a strained relationship with your mother wasn't enough reason. after all, he would know. but something told him, that this wasn't all. "and her boyfriend's a real piece of work."
he almost didn't hear it, with how quietly you were speaking, but the word 'boyfriend' made his ear perk up. you had only really mentioned your mother so far and now dabi wondered, what could a boyfriend possibly have done to have you that terrified of going there. it wasn't his place to continue prying, though. and he could tell from the way your cowering shoulders shifted away from him just slightly, that you were done talking about it, too.
you hadn't even noticed, that he had stopped driving two minutes ago. dabi had parked neatly in the driveway of your mother's house. it was smaller than he had expected, knowing tomura's father, then again, maybe that was just the remnants of the gilded cage he'd grown up in, seeping through to his thoughts. he shook off the cold memories, focusing his attention back on you. if it were in any other situation, he would find it terribly endearing, that you couldn't stop fiddling with the hem of your oversized sweater. or how your eyes were always glued to your feet, the very second a situation became uncomfortable to you. dabi slid his phone into the pocket of his jacket before pulling himself up from his seat and opening the car door. you didn't move a muscle. even as dabi made his way across the car to your side, you were still sitting pin straight; too busy staring at your shoes to notice, that he had opened the door for you.
"ready to go, doll?"
that however made your ears perk up. your face looked entirely devoid of anxiety. rather than the terror in your eyes, that you had tried your hardest to mask for the past forty-five minutes, your face now sported a raised brow and a pursed lip. the exact look of annoyance, that dabi had grown so accustomed to seeing from you. you huffed, not gracing him with any further response and stepped past him. with a low hum and the faintest grin on his face, dabi followed you. neither of you were sure, what exactly you were about to walk into.

Tumblr media
year 1858. emperor and empress.
the first time you met him, you were royalty.
rin was the emperor of a vast, sun-drenched kingdom in ancient japan, his rule as unyielding as the mountains that bordered his lands. you were the daughter of a powerful daimyo, your marriage to him a strategic alliance meant to unite your families and bring stability to the region.
you did not expect to fall in love with him. but the moment you saw him standing at the altar, his eyes meeting yours, you felt it. that pull. that magnetic pull.
the wedding was a grand affair, held in the imperial palace. the air was thick with the scent of cherry blossoms, the sound of traditional instruments filling the courtyard. but all you could focus on was him. rin. the way his hand felt in yours, the way his voice sounded as he recited his vows, the way he looked at you like you were the only person in the room.
"do you think we shall be reincarnated as a married couple as well?" you asked him one night, as you stood on the balcony of the palace, the moon casting a silver glow over the gardens below.
he didn't answer right away. instead, he reached for your hand, his fingers intertwining with yours. "perhaps," he said finally. "in another life."
you didn't know if he meant it, but it didn't matter. because in that moment, you knew you'd follow him anywhere.
your life together was full of challenges. political intrigue, wars, the weight of ruling an empire. but through it all, you had each other. and that was enough.
until it wasn't.
the war came suddenly, like a storm that had been brewing on the horizon for years. rin led his armies to the front lines, his determination as fierce as the fire in his eyes. you stayed behind, ruling in his absence, but your heart was with him.
when the news came, it was like the world has stopped.
rin had been gravely injured in battle.
you rushed to the battlefield, your heart racing. the sight that greeted you was one of chaos, smoke and blood and the cries of the wounded. but all you could see was him.
he was lying on a wooden bunk, his armor stained with blood, his face pale and fatigued. but when he saw you, he smiled. a smile, a faint smile, but it was enough.
"you have come," he said, his voice weak but filled with warmth.
"how could i have stayed away?," you asked, your voice breaking as you knelt beside him.
he reached for your hand, his fingers intertwining with yours. "forgive me," he whispered.
"do not," you said, tears streaming down your face. "do not apologize. only stay with me."
silence stretched between you before he spoke. instead, his eyes locked onto yours, searching for an answer. "in another life," he said finally. "in another life, i shall seek thee out and find thee once more."
and then, as the tears fell and the world faded away, he was gone.
you held him in your arms, the weight of his body a cruel reminder of what you had lost. but even as the pain threatened to consume you, you held on to his words.
"and i shall find thee too," you whispered, your voice barely above a whisper.
year 1898. true fate.
the second time, you were philosophers.
you met in the bustling streets of kyoto, the city alive with the energy of scholars and seekers, all drawn to the ancient capital in pursuit of wisdom. you had come to study under a renowned master, your heart set on unraveling the mysterious of existence. but it wasn't the teachings of your mentor that would change your life. it was him.
rin.
he was standing on a wooden platform in the heart of the marketplace, his voice flowing smoothly over the crowd’s murmurs. rin's words were sharp, thougtful, cutting through the noise with an intensity that demanded attention. you stopped to listen, drawn not just by the sound of his voice but by the way he carried himself.
"the universe is not confined to our understanding," he said, scanning the crowd. "it exists beyond our perceptions, beyond our fears, beyond our desires. to seek truth is to acknowledge that we may never grasp it."
the crowd murmured, some nodding in agreement, others shaking their heads in dissent. but you stood there, mesmerized and fascinated.
when the lecture ended, you approached him, your hands clutching the scrolls you had been carrying. "your words," you began, your voice trembling slightly, "they have struck a chord within me."
he turned to you. "did they truly?"
you nodded, your throat suddenly dry. "indeed, i have long held that truth is not an object to be possessed, but a pursuit we must forever follow."
a faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "you are different," he said.
"what is it you mean?"
"most people come to these debates with the intent to prove their righteousness," he said. "you, however, came to listen."
you felt your cheeks flushed, but you held his gaze. "i believe there is more to be learned from the questions we ask than from the answers we claim to have."
he studied you for a moment, his eyes, those beautiful eyes, searching yours. then he nodded, as if he had found something he was looking for. "come with me," he said.
you followed him to a quiet spot by the kamo river, where the water reflected the lanterns that lined the banks. the night was cool, the air filled with the soft chirping of crickets and the distant sound of laughter. you sat beside him on the grass, the silence between you comfortable, almost familiar.
"do you believe in fate?" you asked after a while, your voice soft.
no answer from him. instead, he looked out at the river, his expression thoughtful. "i believe in choices, yes," he said finally. "but i also hold that some things are simply inevitable."
"like what?"
he turned to you, his eyes meeting yours. "like this," he said.
your breath caught in your throat. "what do you mean?"
"i mean," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "it is as if i have known you before. as though we have spoken these words a thousand times, across a thousand different lives."
"do you think such thing is possible?" you asked, your voice trembling. "to find one another again, in another life?"
"yes."
year 1924. poetry lives forever.
the third time, you were writers.
you met in a small, dimly lit café tucked away in the heart of milan. the air smelled of coffee and old books, and the sound of rain tapping against the windows filled the silence. he sat at a corner table, his hair falling into his eyes as he scribbled furiously in a notebook.
you noticed him immediately. not just because he was beautiful, though he was, but because there was something about him that felt familiar.
you didn't mean to approach him. but when you dropped your pen and it rolled to his feet, he looked up, and your eyes met. for a moment, the world stopped.
"yours?" he asked, holding up the pen.
you nodded. "thank you."
he handed it to you, his fingers brushing against yours.
"i am rin," he said, his voice low.
you told him your name, and he smiled.
that was the beginning.
you started meeting at the café every day. he was working on a novel, and you were writing poetry. at first, you talked about your work, his characters, your metaphors, the way words could build worlds. but soon, the conversations turned deeper. you talked about life, about dreams, about the things that kept you up at night.
"do you ever feel, as though you are endlessly searching for something, though you cannot name it?" you asked him one evening, as the two of you sat by the window, the rain still falling outside.
he looked at you. "all the time," he said. "yet i do not know what it is."
you didn't know either. but you knew that being with him felt like coming home.
one day, you showed him a poem you had written. it was about reincarnation, about the idea that souls find each other again and again, across lifetimes.
"i'll find you in another life," you read aloud, your voice trembling slightly. "no matter where you are, no matter who you become, i'll find you."
when you finished, you looked up at him, scared of his reaction. he was silent for a long time. what did he think?
"how beautiful," he said finally, his voice low.
you felt your cheeks flush. "thank you."
he reached for your notebook, his fingers brushing against yours. "may i read it once more?"
you nodded, handing it to him. he read the poem slowly, his eyes scanning the words as if committing them to memory. when he finished, he looked up at you.
"how curious. i, too, write of reincarnation," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"you do?"
he nodded. "it speaks of two souls bound by an eternal pull, always finding one another, lifetime after lifetime. they do not always recall their past encounters, but the connection that never fades."
your breath caught in your throat. "do they ever uncover the reason?"
he looked out the window, his demeanor reflective. "i believe it is because they are destined to be together," he said finally. "though first they must release all that holds them apart."
you felt your chest tighten. "do you think such thing is possible?"
he turned to you, his eyes meeting yours. "i do not know," he said. "but i believe it is worth seeking, with all that i am."
year 1941. childhood best friends.
the fourth time, you were childhood friends.
it was 1941, in a calm, tiny city. the world was on the brink of war, but in your small corner of the world, life was simple. rin and you grew up next door to each other, your lives intertwined from the moment you could walk.
you spent your days exploring the woods behind your houses, building forts out of fallen branches, and chasing fireflies as the sun dipped below the horizon. rin was quiet, even then, but he had a way of making you feel like you were the only person in the world.
"do you think we will always be friends?" you asked him one summer evening, as the two of you lay on the grass, the stars stretching out above you.
he reached for your hand, his fingers intertwining with yours before answering.
"i think we will always be more than friends," he said finally.
as the war loomed closer, the atmosphere in your small town grew tense. boys you had grown up with began to enlist, their faces filled with a mixture of fear and determination.
rin, however, stayed behind. at least for a while.
"are you not going? why?" you asked him one evening, as the two of you sat on the porch swing, the sound of crickets filling the air.
he looked out at the horizon. "i don't know," he said. "i just feel like i am supposed to be here."
but eventually, the call to duty became too strong to ignore. the day told you he was enlisting, the world seemed to stop.
"i have to go," he said, his voice steady but his eyes betraying the weight of his decision.
you felt your chest tighten. "i will write to you," you said, tears slipping. "every day."
he smiled. "i will write back," he promised.
the letters started almost immediately.
rin's first letter arrived just a few weeks after he left. it was short, just a few lines scribbled on a piece of paper, but it was enough to make your heart soar.
"dear y/n,
i miss your voice. the nights here are too quiet, and i hate it.
are you doing okay? tell my parents i am fine, even if it is a lie. tell me about home, about anything. just write to me.
i miss you. more than i should.
rin."
you wrote back immediately, pouring your heart onto the page.
"beloved rin,
thank you for keeping your promise, but it feels so empty without you. the town is the same, yet it feels like a ghost town - maybe it is just me. there are more women than men, though. did they all enlist, too? i do not remember. i only remember you.
school is dull without you. who should i tell about the stars now? i don't even know what is happening in the world anymore. only that you are not here.
every night, i look at the stars and wish for you to come back.
promise me you will.
please come back. i miss you. so much.
sincerely,
y/n"
his letters became your lifeline. they were filled with stories of the other soldiers, of the places he had seen, of the things he had learned. but they were also filled with something else. something deeper, something that made your chest ache.
"dear y/n,
i dreamt of you last night. even though my nights are restless, i forced myself to sleep for a few minutes, and there you were - just like always. we were home again, lying on the grass, watching the stars. you were talking, but i do not remember what you said.
i only remember the way you looked at me, the way the night felt warm, like nothing in the world could do anything to us.
it felt real. too real. like we had done it before, maybe in another life. maybe in a life where i never had to leave.
i miss you too. more than i can say. more than i should.
i will come back.
rin."
you wrote back, your hands trembling as you held the pen.
"my beloved rin,
i dreamt of you too. maybe it is fate. maybe we were always meant to find each other, in this life or another. i like to think that no matter where we go, no matter how far, we will always find our way back. don't you think so too?
i can not wait to see you again. but you did not promise me you would come back. you almost did, but not quite. do it next time, okay? you would not want me to be sad, would you?
i love you i miss you more than words can hold. some nights, it feels unbearable.
sincerely,
y/n"
but then, one day, the letters stopped.
at first, you told yourself it was just the mail being delayed. but as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, the silence became unbearable.
you wrote to him every day, your letters filled with hope and fear and longing. but there was no response.
"my beloved rin,
it has been weeks since your last letter, and every passing day feels like an eternity. i tell myself that you are just busy, that the war keeps you from writing, that the mail is slow. but the silence is louder than any excuse i can make for you. and maybe, just maybe, you have chosen it.
i tell myself a thousand little lies just to keep my heart from breaking, but i think it is already shattered.
i do not know if you are safe. i do not know if you are cold or hungry, if you have enough to eat, if you have made friends or if you are alone. i do not know if you still think of me. if, in the quiet moments between gunfire and marching orders, you close your eyes and see my face the way i see yours every time i close mine.
i miss you. i miss you in ways that feel unbearable, in ways that make it hard to breathe. i miss your voice, the way it could turn the worst days into something softer. i miss your laugh, the one you used to hide behind your hand when i said something ridiculous. i miss the way you used to hold me, like i was something precious, something you could not bear to lose. and yet here i am. lost. left behind. abandoned to empty nights and unanswered letters.
i still look at the stars, rin. every night. just like we used to. i try to find the constellations you loved, the ones you traced with your fingers against the sky, whispering their names like a prayer. and sometimes, for just a moment, i let myself believe that maybe you are looking at them too. that maybe, somewhere across this vast, war-torn world, you remember me.
but what if you do not? what if the war has changed you? what if the boy i love has been swallowed by something i will never understand? what if i am writing to someone who no longer exists?
i want to be angry with you. i want to scream and curse your name for leaving me behind, for choosing this war over me, for breaking every promise you ever made. you once swore you would never leave me, do you remember that? do you remember pressing your forehead against mine and whispering, "always. no matter what."
was that a lie, rin? or did you just not think i was worth staying for?
i know you wanted to be someone great. i know you thought enlisting would make you a man, that it would give your life purpose. but what about our life? did it ever hold any meaning for you? or was i just a quiet part of a life you were always meant to outgrow?
i try to be strong. i try to go about my days as if i am not coming apart at the seams. but everything reminds me of you. the sounds of boots against the pavement. the scent of fresh rain on the earth. the way the wind moves through the trees.
i wish i would have told you my feelings i hold for you. i wish i would have told you how much i love you and how you should not go to the war. that you are walking into death.
i have to ask. do you miss me at all? or has the war taken even that from you?
i do not know how much longer i can do this. how much longer i can keep waiting for letters that may never come, for a love that may no longer exist, for a boy who may already be gone. i do not know if you are alive, and that uncertainty is eating me alive, rin.
but if you are alive. if you are still out there, still breathing, still the same boy who once swore we would always be together. please. please write back. even if it is just to tell me that i no longer have a place in your heart. at least then, i will know to stop waiting.
with all the love i have left,
y/n"
but there was no response.
"do you think he is okay?" you asked your mother one evening, your voice trembling.
she didn't answer right away. instead, she reached for your hand, her fingers intertwining with yours. "i don't know, dear," she said finally. "but i think he would want you to keep living."
you didn't know what to say to that. but as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, you began to understand.
one night, as you lay on the grass, it felt like rin was laying right beside you.
"i will find you," you whispered, your voice barely above a whisper. "in another life, i will find you again."
and as the tears fell and the world faded away, you knew it was true.
year 1997. poetry truly lives forever.
the fifth time, you were desk mates.
the world felt both vast and small at the same time. you were both in high school, sitting in a classroom that smelled like chalk dust and old books. the desks were arranged in neat rows, and you found yourself seated next to him. rin itoshi. he was quiet, always scribbling in a notebook, his dark hair falling into his eyes as he focused on whatever he was writing. you didn't know much about him, but there was something about him, but it seemed like you couldn't figure that out.
the teacher stood at the front of the room, holding a worn anthology of poetry. "today," she said, her voice crisp and clear, "we will be analyzing a poem by y/n l/n, a poet from the 1920s. y/n, since you share her name, why don't you read it aloud for us?"
of course you have to read it a loud. you were named after the poet. your mother loved her since she was a kid. still, your heart skipped a beat. you weren't used to being called on, especially not in front of the whole class. but you stood up, clutching the book in your hands, and began to read.
"i'll find you in another life," you read aloud, your voice trembling slightly. "no matter where you are, no matter who you become, i'll find you. across lifetimes, across oceans, across the stars. i'll find you."
the room was silent when you finished. you glanced up, your eyes instinctively finding rin's. he was staring at you, his expression unreadable, but there was something in his eyes, almost unsettling.
"thank you, y/n," your teacher said, breaking the silence. "now, let's discuss the themes of the poem. what do you think the poet is trying to convey?"
the class erupted into chatter, but you couldn't focus. you kept glancing at rin, who was now scribbling furiously in his notebook. when the bell rang, you gathered your things, but before you could leave, rin stopped you.
"that poem," he said, his voice low. "it's familiar."
you blinked, surprised. "familiar?"
he hesitated, then opened his notebook and handed it to you. inside were pages filled with his handwriting. lines and lines of poetry, all about reincarnation.
"i dreamt of you last night," one line read. "not as you are now, but as you were before. in another life, in another time, i knew you."
your breath caught in your throat. "you're writing about reincarnation too?"
he nodded, his dark eyes searching yours. "yeah. i don't know why, but it's like i can't stop thinking about it. about the idea that we've lived before. that we have met before."
you didn't know what to say. the poem you had just read, the words rin had written. it all felt too coincidental, too real.
"do you think it's possible?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. "to find someone again, in another life?"
"i don't know," he said. "but if it is... i think i would find you."
your chest tightened, your heart pounding in your chest. "and if you did?"
he smiled. "i'd tell you the same thing i'm telling you now."
"what's that?"
"i'm glad i found you."
from that day on, the two of you became inseparable. you spent hours after school in the library, analyzing poems and sharing your own writing. rin's notebook became a treasure trove of stories about lifetimes and love, and you found yourself drawn to his words - and to him.
one day, as the two of you sat under a tree in the school courtyard, rin turned to you, his expression serious.
"would you try to find me in another life? if i would die today?" he asked.
you looked at him, surprised. "why would you say such things?"
"would you?" he ignored your question, his gaze unwavering, determined to get an answer out of you.
the weight of his question hung in the air, heavy and unrelenting. you hesitated. but then you looked into his eyes - those dark, intense eyes that always seemed to see right through you - and you knew your answer.
"yes," you said, your voice firm despite the tremor in your chest. "yes, rin, i would."
for a moment, he didn't respond. he just stared at you. then, without warning, he leaned in, his hand cupping your cheek as his lip met yours.
the kiss was soft at first, tentative, as if he was afraid you might pull away. but when you didn't, when you leaned into him instead, your hands gripping the front of his shirt, it deepened. deepened, becoming something more. something desperate, something aching, something that felt like it had been building for lifetimes.
when he finally pulled away, his forehead rested against yours, his breath warm against your skin.
"good," he whispered, his voice rough. "because i'd find you too. no matter what."
you didn't know what to answer, but you didn't need to. because in that moment, under the shade of the tree with the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves, you knew it was true.
no matter how many lives you lived, no matter how many times you had to start over, you would always find each other.
you thought.
year 1978. strangers.
the sixth time, you were strangers on a train.
it was a cold winter morning, and the train was packed with commuters. you sat by the window, your breath fogging up the glass as you stared out at the blur of snow-covered buildings rushing past. the rhythmic clatter of the train on the tracks was soothing, almost hypnotic, and you let yourself drift, your thoughts wandering.
that's when you saw him.
he was sitting across the aisle, his dark hair falling into his eyes as he stared down at a book. there was something about him - you feel like you know him, but this was your first time seeing him.
who was he?
you found yourself glancing at him more than once, your heart skipping a beat every time he turned a page or adjusted his scarf.
you didn't know why, but you felt drawn to him. like a magnet pulling you closer, even though you were sitting perfectly still.
days turned into weeks, and you began to notice him every morning. he always sat in the same spot, always reading, always quiet. you never spoke, but sometimes your eyes would meet, and for a brief moment, it felt like you knew each other for decades.
one morning, the train was unusually empty. you sat in your usual seat, and to your surprise, he sat down across from you.
"mind if i sit here?" he asked, his voice low and smooth.
you shook your head, your heart racing. "no, not at all."
for a while, neither of you spoke. he went back to his book, and you pretended to focus on yours. but then, out of nowhere, he looked up and said, "do we know each other?"
you blinked, surprised. "i don't think so, why?"
he hesitated, then closed his book and set it aside. "i don't know, i feel like we know each other from somewhere."
"oh," you said, as the train neared your station. "i have to leave. i'll see you around," you smiled at him before hurrying out the train.
the next morning, he wasn't there.
you waited, your heart sinking as the train pulled into the station and he didn't appear. the days turned into weeks, and still, there was no sign of him.
you didn't know why, but it felt like a piece of you was missing.
year 2025. bury your feelings.
the seventh time, you were his manager, though neither of you was happy about it.
rin itoshi was a force of nature on the soccer field, a prodigy who had no patience for rules, authority, or anyone telling him what to do. he'd gone through managers like water, firing them one after another, until his mother - a woman as formidable as she was elegant - decided enough was enough.
that's where you came in.
you were the daughter of a close family friend, a rising star in sports management with a reputation for being as stubborn as you were brilliant. when rin's mother assigned you to be his manager, you knew it wouldn't be easy. but you also knew you couldn't say no.
your first meeting was a disaster.
rin stormed into the sleek, modern office of the team's headquarters, his dark eyes blazing with barely contained fury.
"i don't need a manager," he snapped, his voice low and dangerous.
you didn't flinch. "good thing i'm not here to ask for your permission, then."
he glared at you, his jaw tightening. "you think you can handle this just because you're oh-so-brilliant?"
you met his gaze without hesitation. "i know it."
from that day on, your interactions were a battlefield. you pushed him harder than anyone ever had, demanding perfection in every drill, every practice, every match. he resisted at every turn, his pride bristling at the idea of someone telling him what to do.
"you're not my boss," he stared at you after one particularly intense practice session.
"you're right," you shot back, your voice sharp. "i'm the person who's going to make sure you don't waste your talent. whether you like it or not. i promised your parents."
he didn't respond, but the look he gave you could have melted steel.
despite the tension, there were brief moments when you saw something beneath the surface. like when he stayed late after practice, perfecting a shot until his hands were raw and his breath came in ragged gasps. or when he quietly helped a younger player with his technique, his usual arrogance replaced by something softer. every time, you were there, watching him.
one night, someone knocked at your apartment door.
you didn't want to open the door. it was late. too late for anyone to be standing in front of your door. but when you peeked through the peephole and saw rin standing there, you knew it was going to be one of those nights.
you took a deep breath and pulled the door open, ready for another round of heated arguments, only to freeze when you saw him.
he was leaning against the doorframe, his duffle bag hanging loosely from one hand, his other clutching his phone. his usually perfect hair was a mess, dark strands sticking to his forehead, and his pale face looked like he hadn't slept in days.
"what?" you asked, crossing your arms, though you couldn't help but noticed how his eyes, usually sharp and focused, were dull with exhaustion.
"i forgot my keys," he muttered, voice hoarse and rough. "can't get into my place, and i have no one to call."
you narrowed your eyes at him. "you expect me to let you in? just like that?"
rin's lips twisted in a familiar, defiant smirk, but it didn't reach his eyes. "what's the alternative? i sleep in my car?"
you felt the familiar flare of irritation rise up within you. you hated the way he always seemed to get under your skin. the way he acted like he was always one step ahead. but when you took a second look at him, pale, tired, and standing in your doorway like he was too exhausted to even be annoyed with you anymore, you felt a sudden, unwanted pang of sympathy.
"fine," you said, stepping aside reluctantly.
he stepped inside, shoulders sagging slightly as he dropped his bag by the door. there was a strange tension between you both as he stands there, not making eye contact, like neither of you knew what to say next.
the silence stretched, thick with the usual animosity, but there was something else hanging in the air, something you couldn't quite place.
"i didn't think you'd actually let me in," he muttered, looking at the floor.
you shrugged, turning toward the kitchen. "i didn’t think you’d show up at all. it’s not like we’re best friends, rin.”
you both knew it’s not the full truth. you had fought tooth and nail from the moment his mother handed him over to you as his manager, but somewhere along the way, the constant bickering had turned into something else. a little more tolerance. a little more understanding.
still, you couldn't let him off the hook that easily.
“you really should’ve called sae,” you added, tossing a bottle of water his way.
he caught it, staring at it for a second before his lips quirked upward, just a little. “are you teasing me?”
you almost smiled at that, despite yourself. “no.”
he sank into the couch, closing his eyes and leaning back, his exhaustion finally catching up with him. you could see it now. the way his shoulders were tense, the way his hands were trembling just a little as he took a sip of water.
it was almost strange, seeing him like this. the usual confident, untouchable athlete is gone, replaced by someone who looked human, vulnerable even. it made the usual anger between you feel a little more fragile, like it could break at any moment.
“do you need anything else?” you asked, trying to hide the slight softness in your voice.
rin shook his head, not opening his eyes. “just don’t make me go back out there. i don’t know where else to go.”
there was a heaviness in his words. and for the briefest moment, you thought about it, about how much of him had been buried beneath the mask of a football star. but you didn’t dwell on it.
you stepped back, pretending not to hear the vulnerability in his tone. “don’t get comfortable. you’re only staying for the night. i have a ton of work to do, and i'm not babysitting you.”
rin huffed out a laugh, even though it’s weak. “babysitting me? despite you being my manager, i'm still older than you.”
the tension between you two simmered beneath the surface. but for the first time, there was a flicker of something else in his eyes. it was fleeting, barely noticeable, but you caught it.
it was something like trust. or maybe need.
you couldn't tell.
but for now, you let him stay. and when you finally turned away to leave the room, you thought about how this felt like there was something the universe tried to tell you both.

"𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧"

rin was always the same. quiet, aloof, distant, the type who preferred to keep to himself, observing from the sidelines while everyone else had fun. the guy who’d sneer when someone tried to make small talk, whose only words to you in the past week had been something snarky about the weather or how he didn’t get why people couldn’t just shut up sometimes.
but tonight was different.
it wasn’t like you’d never seen him drink before. of course, he did. but rin never let loose. never. he was the guy who sipped his drink, became a little bit more chatty than usual with his friends, and then got up, shrugged, and left, always looking like he was doing the world a favor by gracing it with his presence.
except tonight. tonight, he was loud. and… strangely affectionate.
“hey.” he leaned heavily on you, blinking at you with glassy eyes. “hey, hey, hey, i have a confession.”
your eyebrow arched. “oh?”
“yeah,” he said, his voice a little too loud, his breath warm against your neck. “i’ve got something to tell you, and it’s a big deal.”
you swallowed, trying not to laugh. rin was acting like he was five again. this was a different version of him, a version you hadn’t seen in a long time.
“you’ve got something to say, huh?” you teased.
rin nodded seriously. “i think…” he poked your shoulder, making you jump. “i think i might love you.”
you stared at him, dumbfounded. this couldn’t be real.
“excuse me?” you asked, fighting to keep your voice steady.
“i mean,” he shrugged, swaying just a little, “i’ve been thinking about it all night, and i think you’re, like, perfect. your hair, your eyes, your smile… and you’re funny in a stupid way, but it works, y’know?”
your chest tightened, but you bit back the smile trying to escape. he never complimented you. ever. when sober, he barely even looked at you. he was the type who acted like he was above everyone, like he had better things to do than get involved in anyone else’s drama.
but now…
“you think i’m perfect?” you couldn’t help it, your voice softened.
“yeah,” he muttered, his head resting against your shoulder, his words slow and dreamy. “like, really perfect. i’ve known it for a while, actually. just… never had the guts to say it.”
you watched him, your heart thudding in your chest. how many times had you tried to figure out if he felt the same way? how many times had you wondered if he’d ever look at you like that? and here he was, drunk out of his mind, spilling his heart out to you in the most ridiculous way possible.
“i think…” rin pushed himself up, grinning like a fool. “i think you’re the best person in this whole world. everyone else is loud and annoying and half-baked, but you’re… you’re…” he paused, eyes dreamy, almost like he was trying to find the right word. “you’re, like, the calm in the storm. or, uh… a really cute, annoying storm, i guess.”
you chuckled softly, not sure whether to be flattered or confused. “you’re something else, you know that?”
he blinked at you, a little too seriously. “i do know that. but it’s not like i’m ever wrong.”
“sure,” you said, a grin tugging at the corner of your lips. “you never are.”
“good,” he mumbled, his eyes fluttering closed. “then i’m not wrong about this. i love you. you make me feel like i’m… i’m not a total jerk all the time.”
your heart ached, but you couldn’t stop the warmth that spread through your chest. this was the side of him you had always wondered about, the one hidden beneath all the arrogance and coldness.
“you are a jerk most of the time,” you teased, brushing a lock of hair from his forehead.
“yeah,” he agreed, grinning like an idiot. “but you still love me. you just don’t know it yet.”
you didn’t correct him. instead, you just let him rest against you, drunk and vulnerable, with his arms wrapped around you like he’d never let go. tomorrow, he’d probably act like none of this ever happened, arrogant, aloof, and distant once again.
but for tonight, he was yours. and for once, you weren’t questioning it.

"𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬"
Tumblr media
rockstar! rin itoshi was just purely infatuated by you.
and despite being only friends with benefits, he would never let you go.
the bass still thumped through the venue walls, but the show was over. the crowd was gone. and yet, you could still feel the weight of his voice lingering in the air like smoke – thick, intoxicating, impossible to escape.
you pushed through the crowded backstage hallway, barely registering the roadies and crew moving around you. you weren’t even sure why you were here. well, you knew, but you hated admitting it.
you found him exactly where you expected, leaning against the doorframe of his dressing room, sweat still clinging to his skin, a makeup remover wipe smeared with eyeliner in his hand. rockstar! rin itoshi. the man with a smirk that could melt morals, a presence that turned arenas into altars, and a voice that had ruined you in more ways than one.
“you’re late,” he drawled, pushing off the frame, eyes dark as they dragged over you.
“i wasn’t planning to come.”
“and yet…” he tilted his head, that infuriating smirk deepening. “here you are.”
your fingers curled into fists. you should walk away. you should turn on your heel and leave before this ended the way it always did, with his hands on you, with you tangled in his sheets, with you feeling like you were slipping further into something you could never hold onto.
you were already halfway gone when he reached for you, fingers brushing against your wrist.
“you shouldn’t keep doing this,” you whispered.
he let out a humorless chuckle, the sound bitter. “me?” he stepped closer, and you hated how your body responded, heat curling in your stomach. “i’m not the one who keeps running back.”
your chest tightened. “screw you.”
his jaw clenched, and the teasing glint in his eyes vanished. “you already do.”
you shoved him back. “you think this is funny?” your voice cracked. “that this, whatever the hell this is, means nothing?”
“do you want it to mean something?” he shot back, his voice sharp enough to cut.
you hated that you hesitated.
his gaze hardened. “that’s what i thought.”
you could hear your friends’ voices in your head, louder than the music had been all night.
he’s a mess.
you deserve better.
he’s not going to change.
you wanted to believe them. you wanted to believe that you could walk away from him. but when he reached for you again, pulling you into him like you were the only thing keeping him standing, you shattered all over again.
his lips brushed your ear. “tell me to stop.”
you should.
you didn’t.
because love wasn’t supposed to feel like a war, but with him, it always did.
and you were losing.
𐙚
the two of you barely made it inside his car before you were on him.
the door had barely clicked shut before rockstar! rin itoshi’s hands tangled in your hair, lips crashing into yours like he was starving. It was always like this – wild, reckless, desperate. the world blurred, reduced to the feverish slide of mouths and the press of bodies against leather seats.
your back arched as he pulled you closer, his hands burning through the thin fabric of your shirt. the windows fogged up, the night outside forgotten. his mouth moved to your neck, tracing a line of fire down your skin.
“you drive me insane,” he muttered against your throat, his voice thick with something you couldn’t name.
you let out a sharp breath, nails digging into his arms. “right back at you.”
and then something snapped.
not physically. but the moment shifted. the heat still crackled, but underneath it was something heavier.
rockstar! rin itoshi exhaled, forehead resting against yours as he said your name.
you tensed. he almost never said your full name.
“what?” you whispered.
his fingers ghosted over your cheek, his thumb barely brushing your lips. “why do you keep coming back?”
your stomach twisted.
“rin…”
“is it just this?” his grip on you tightened, but not in a way that felt possessive, more like he was bracing himself for the answer. “is this all i am to you?”
you swallowed hard, your heart pounding for an entirely different reason now.
of course, he wasn’t just this. of course, he wasn’t just a hookup, just a mistake you kept repeating. but how were you supposed to tell him that when everything about you two was wrong?
your friends hated him. he was a walking disaster, reckless and wild and always on the edge of self-destruction. and you had spent months telling yourself you didn’t need him.
you had spent months lying.
“i don’t know,” you whispered, because it was the safest truth you could give him.
rockstar! rin itoshi’s jaw tightened, something flickering through his eyes before he pulled away.
the loss of his warmth was instant.
he shifted back into the driver’s seat, gripping the steering wheel like he needed something to hold onto. he didn’t look at you.
the air became thick and suffocating.
you sat up, running a shaky hand through your hair. “rin –”
“don’t,” he muttered.
silence swallowed you whole.
for the first time, the car felt small. too small.
your chest ached.
you should say something. you should tell him that it wasn’t just this, that you weren’t using him, that you cared more than you knew how to admit.
but you didn’t.
instead, you reached for the door handle. “i should go.”
he didn’t stop you.
you stepped out into the cold night air, wrapping your arms around yourself as you walked away.
one step.
then another.
and then… you stopped.
your pulse pounded in your ears. you could feel the sting of unshed tears, the weight of something heavier than you could carry pressing down on you.
you don’t have to leave.
the thought hit you so hard you almost stumbled.
you turned back toward the car, your breath unsteady. through the fogged-up window, you could see him, fingers clenched around the steering wheel, shoulders tight, staring straight ahead like if he looked at you, he’d break.
without giving yourself time to think, you yanked the door back open.
rockstar! rin itoshi barely had time to turn before you were on him, kissing him like it wasn’t a mistake, like you weren’t going to run this time.
he froze for a second, startled, then melted into you, his hands gripping you like he was afraid you’d disappear.
your fingers curled into his shirt. “i don’t want to leave.”
his breath hitched. “then don’t.”
your lips trembled, but you nodded. “okay.”
he exhaled, pressing his forehead against yours. “you don’t have to leave me alone in bed the next morning. you don’t have to lie to everyone and yourself anymore. i’ll make you feel like staying was the right choice, i promise. and i'll show your friends that, too.”
for the first time in a long time, it didn’t feel like you were losing.
it felt like maybe, just maybe, you were finally choosing him for real this time.

Tumblr media
There were loud knocks on the door to your cabin. It made you lift your head up. You didn’t respond immediate as the next following knocks turned into banging. – “Gentle, gentle.” – you heard a muffled voice speak from the other side. There was a deep sigh, followed by a gentle knock. Almost too gentle. – “Yes.” – you responded having kind of clue of who was at the other side.
“Are you done staying inside?” – It was Prince Zuko speaking at the other end. – “No.” – you responded hearing Zuko barely loose his temper on the other end. – “Calm, calm now nephew.” – you recognized it was Iroh’s voice, soothing the prince’s temper.
You heard some movements till Zuko’s temper took over. – “Then perish inside!” – he yelled at the door as you saw the light of flames through the cracks. Jumping up you went up to the door. – “I will!” – you shouted back in frustration. There was a loud groan with a hard stomp against your door. Startling you away from the door.
Footsteps died out It made you near the door again, holding your ear against it. Once the storm had passed, you exhaled deep. You knew you couldn’t stay in your cabin. It wasn’t deliberately, but you sometimes wanted to avoid Zuko.
Almost at every occasion were you forced together in close proximity. The waterbending princess promised to him. A peace treaty between nations. Honestly you didn’t know what possessed Fire lord Ozai to accept your father’s proposition of simply handing you over on a silver platter to his son.
Being on Zuko’s ship for almost four years now, you had a bit of a clue. Perhaps the fire lord accepted it, to taunt Zuko more. A way of shaming him further against his nation. Water and fire weren’t meant to be together. It was an extra nudge to keep Zuko out of the fire nation. If he wasn’t so bad tempered you might feel sympathy for him.
Opening the door, you decided to head out. Probably the first in days. You missed the ocean breeze, the salty water, the cold, the moon. You missed everything that felt close to you. Looking cautiously around for Zuko, you snuck your way up to the deck. Feeling the breeze on your skin, you inhaled deep. Composed you went to the railing, holding tight to it. Feeling the rocking of the ship on the water, you leaned back to take it in.
With a satisfying breath, you looked up to the moon. The deck was mostly empty. Most soldiers below deck. Playing some cards or drinking. It was a bit too quiet as you missed the buzzing life of your village. Leaning with your chin on your arms by the railing, you stared into the water. Wondering how your tribe was doing without your presence.
“What are you doing here?” – A loud voice raged. You jumped up, startled to bone. Turning your posture a bit, you saw Zuko braising as he came your way. You rolled your eyes at him. – “Make up your mind where you want me.” – you replied raising your voice a bit as well. Zuko puffed up his chest with anger, standing face to face with you. His hands radiating heat. His gaze scanning yours. He hated how vulnerable your gaze was. Soft and mesmerizing as the moon.
A wind picked up from the east as it made you shiver. Zuko noticed it, observing you. – “Fetch the princess a blanket!” – he yelled without a glance away from you. From behind Zuko at the other side, you saw a soldier rush to get you a blanket. You tilted your head a bit. – “Your uncle isn’t looking.” – you told him.
Knowing he only showed kindness when his uncle forced him to be civil. – “I know.” – Zuko responded with a soft glare. The soldier returned with a blanket as Zuko snatched it from his hands. He rose his hands, intending to place the blanket over your shoulders as he stopped himself. He caught himself being nice. Showing a weakness, he couldn’t afford.
He brought his hands back to his chest, throwing the blanket at you. You caught it when it hit your chest. – “How gentle of you.” – you said sarcastic, putting the blanket over your shoulders. Zuko huffed loud as he staid in your presence. Close as it made you uncertain at this point. What was he still doing around you? He never staid this long around you. Not if it wasn’t forced on him.
There was a rumble in the sky followed by a strong gush of air. It knocked you right against Zuko’s chest. His hand subtle on your back as the wind kept blazing through. Zuko’s eyes lit up, lowering his hand on you. From the corner of your eye, you saw a bright blue light.
Making you turn around to bestow upon the beam of light in the sky. – “What is that?” – you asked a bit nervous and frightened. Unconsciously you leaned back, coming in touch with Zuko’s chest. Zuko stepped back as you felt the loss of touch. He started ordering commands to his crew to set coarse to the beam of light. It might be a clue for his search for the Avatar.
The ship neared the village of the southern water tribe. It cracked the ice open when it steered frontal through it. The village nearing. Zuko stood on deck. Uncle Iroh a step behind him to the side. You stood beside Zuko, your fiancé. With worry, you looked up to him. – “Stay on the ship.” – he said firm, keeping his hands behind his back. – “but…” – you started. – “Stay here!” – Zuko yelled at you, making you gulp nervously. – “Zuko!” – Iroh called out.
“Show the princess some kindness.” – he told him with a soft glare. Zuko breathed with a scoff. He lowered himself a bit to speak to you like a he would do to a little child. – “That’s an order from your prince.” – he made clear. Something you caught in his eyes, made you see a smidge of desperation in him. Did he perhaps think you’d stay here with the people of your own kind?
That once you left the ship, they’d see you as a prisoner and claim you as theirs? Before you could think of it more, had Zuko turned away. Zuko accepted his helmet from one of his men, following them. Iroh came joining your side as you watched Zuko and his men descend onto the ice. – “Best to stay out of a fight, princess.” – he said to you.
Being on the ship was boring. You hardly had any sight of what was happening down at the village. You saw flashes of fire as you hoped Zuko wouldn’t burn down the village. It was small. Smaller than any village you had known. You had lost sight of Iroh. He was probably up on the high deck to overlook the happening. A gush of wind made you bring your hands up to protect your face. – “An airbender?” – you questioned.
Hadn’t they gone instinct? For over a hundred years there haven’t been an airbender. – “The Avatar!” – you heard the soldiers shout in unison. – “The Avatar.” – you gasped in shock. Looking up, you knew Iroh’s eye was on Zuko. As it always was. You duck down, rushing to the railing. Below the ice had cracked where the ship had broken through.
Grabbing the railing, you jumped over it, swaying your hand up. A trail of water spiralled up, flowing around you as it slowed your descend. Your feet hit the ice as the water splashed on the ice. Ignoring Zuko’s order, you needed to see it for yourself.  Keeping yourself low to avoid Iroh spotting you, you snuck up in haste to the village.
You neared the entrance of the village, eyes wide with shock of what you saw. People running around. The soldiers causing fires to scare them into handing over the Avatar. You snuck into the village trying to look for the Avatar. A deranged fire blast went your way as it hit an igloo near you. The impact made you duck down, receiving some exploded ice on your back.
“It isn’t save here!” – A boy called out, taking your hand as he pulled you away from the burning igloo. He came to a stop, taking a moment to fully look at you. – “Who are you?” – he asked, still holding your hand. You panicked pulling your hand out of his and taking a run for it. – “Hey!” – the boy called out coming after you.
He knew everyone from his village, yet you were unfamiliar. He got stopped in his tracks by fire. Looking over his shoulder, he saw his sister. – “Katara hide!” – he shouted with a wave of his arm. You came to a stop seeing the Avatar in the air. Never did you think you’d see the Avatar.
Your gaze got pulled away by a hard pull on your wrist. Forcing you to look another way. Zuko’s way. – “You ignored my order!” – Zuko shouted at you, tugging hard on your wrist. You tried pulling your wrist out of his grip as he held it tight. – “I’m not your soldier!” – you yelled back at him. Zuko glared at you. – “Get back to the ship!” – he ordered with anger. – “I will stay!” – you stood your ground, not wanting to leave. – “Y/n! Get. To. The. Ship.” – he repeated trying to compose himself.
Feeling himself boil with anger over you. Angry that you deliberately ignored his order. You pulled your wrist out of his grip with force. – “I didn’t sign up for this!” – you replied with fury. – “For what?” – Zuko fired back. – “These are my people Zuko!” – you told him. – “I just want the Avatar!” – he responded. In the corner of his eye, he saw a spear heading your way. Zuko tensed his jaw, grabbing you as he tackled you to the ground. Rolling over in the snow as the spear flew over your heads.
You laid in the snow, feeling Zuko half on top of you. His hand protective on your head. He pulled you up as he created fire, bending it towards the tribe member who threw the spear at you. – “Zuko!” – you called out, pushing his arm down. – “The ship now!” – Zuko yelled with a rage unlike you had ever seen. Before you knew it, grabbed two of his men you by the arms. Dragging you out of the village back to the ship.
**
“Stay with the princess!” – Zuko ordered one of his men. They bowed as a response. – “Don’t let her out of your sight.” – he added tracking up the hill. Iroh right behind him. You followed in line as Zuko lead the expedition to capture the Avatar. Having been spotted on Kyoshi island. – “The Avatar is mine.” – Zuko said out loud.
Up on the hill was a bright blue light shining. Hinting the Avatar was up there. Up ahead you saw a water tribe girl take a stand as defence. She let her arms sway, letting a whip of water splash at Zuko’s feet. Zuko stopped, pulling his foot up to see the wetness on his shoes. – “Pathetic.” – he called out.
The girl furrowed her brows at the sight of you. – “Stand aside girl.” – Zuko ordered. The girl moved her hands up. – “You’ll have to go through me.” – she replied. Zuko laughed. – “That won’t be a problem.” – he answered preparing himself. He fired at her as she fell backwards onto the grass. A sudden gush of wind made you all look away. Zuko’s eyes widened when Avatar Kyoshi landed in front of them. With one wave of her fan, were you all pushed back by air. Falling back.
“Protect the princess!” – Zuko shouted as he tried to get back up. The soldier enlisted to keep you save, pulled you up by your arm. Dragging you away from the others. He led you down the hill through the woods. You had little time to stand still and think about what was happening. Soon you neared the town as the soldier kept a grip on you, looking constantly over his shoulder. You froze when a fan flashed at him, hitting him in the head. It knocked him down.
Your gaze met up with a young girl looking a lot like Avatar Kyoshi with her make-up. The same boy from the water tribe at her side. – “Hey I know you!” – he said with a confused point at you. – “You were at my tribe too.” – he stated with furrowed brows. You turned around taking a run for it. – “Hey wait!” – Sokka called out, coming after you with Suki. You stopped, brought your hands up your face, then you pushed them forwards. The crackling of ice sounding. Sokka and Suki looked down, their feet slippery on ice.
“She can bend.” – Suki told Sokka out of breath. Suki grabbed Sokka by his shirt, pulling him off the ice. They went back in pursuit. In the woods, you couldn’t tell the direction apart. Not knowing where it might lead you. – “Hey wait!” – Sokka shouted to get your attention. Panting you tried to stay ahead of them. You screamed when you nearly bumped into the girl that came out of nowhere. You fell back, caught off guard. – “Katara get her.” – Sokka called out, out of breath.
Katara took a stand, ready to whip you with water if you dared to move. – “Why are you with the fire nation?” – she asked rudely. Suki extended her hand to you as you accepted it, letting her help you up. – “Are you their prisoner?” – Sokka questioned as you remained silent. – “There’s no need to be scared.” – Suki spoke rubbing her hand on your back, soothingly. – “We’ll save you.” – Sokka responded proudly. Before you knew it, were you dragged along with them.
Zuko was panting, taking a look around. – “Where is the princess?” – he asked loud. All his men looked at each other uncertain. Zuko felt himself grow angrier. – “Where is Y/n!” – he shouted unleashing fire from his fists. – “Don’t worry Zuko, we’ll find her.” – Iroh said to sooth him. – “Find her!” – Zuko ordered to his men. – “Burn this entire island down if you must to find her!” – he moved his fist forward, a blast of fire hitting a tree as it set it on fire. His men scattered away in search of you. – “We’ll find her Zuko…” – Iroh spoke placing a hand on Zuko’s shoulder. Zuko brushed his hand harshly off. He was panting. Braising with anger that he had lost sight of you.
If this would’ve happened years ago, he would just leave, being glad to be rid of you. Now, he felt like he couldn’t. You weren’t around him for a few moments and he already missed the argues with you. He missed your presence, more than he would ever admit. It wasn’t easy being forced on this mission with someone you were signed up to marry. Yet you were there. Day in and out. You were there at every step of the way. The water tribe princess he learned to admire… in secret.
Admitting it to himself that he actually… cared was scary. You were a weakness. You still are a weakness to him. One he didn’t intended on. Zuko called it out, burning the trees nearby. A tree’s trunk cracked. The top bush falling to the side. Zuko narrowed his eyes when he saw something familiar blue trotting up the hill. Instead of one, he recognized three. Taking in deep breaths, he bald his hands into fists.
He called it out as the fire coming out of him startled Iroh. It was blazing hot. Iroh saw it now as well, swallowing nervously. – “Zuko…” – he started moving his hand forwards. Before he could reach Zuko, had Zuko ran off. Huffing and puffing with anger to get you back. The grass catching fire from where he passed. His wrath waiting to be unleashed.
“So why were you with the fire nation?” – Katara asked as she pushed you up the hill. – “It’s complicated.” – you answered. – “How is it complicated?” – Sokka asked scratching the back of his head. – “It’s…” – you started cut off by loud shouting. You leaped aside when a fire blast went your way. Looking back at the trail, you saw Zuko panting with anger. His fist out where the fire blast had come from.
“He’s back!” – Sokka called out, helping his sister back up. Sokka then rushed over to you, helping you up. – “We have to go.” – he told you. Zuko fired once more, preventing them from going further up the hill. – “You are not going anywhere with her!” – he made clear. Sokka pulled you behind him. – “She’s not your prisoner!” – Sokka shouted at Zuko.
“No.” – Zuko replied composing himself a bit. – “She’s my intended.” – he said out loud making Sokka’s jaw drop, gawking at Zuko. – “Now hands off before I burn you!” – Zuko threatened. Sokka immediately pulled his hands off you, having no intention to die. Zuko’s gaze met up with yours, softening as he extending his hand to you. – “Please…” – he asked.
The sincereness from him made you realize he’d truly cared for you. For long you didn’t think it was possible. But here he was burning bridges to get to you. You took a deep breath, making the intention to reach your hand out to him when a gush of wind knocked him back. The Avatar landed soundless between Zuko and you. – “Leave my friends alone!” – Aang called out.
Zuko pressed his fist into the ground, groaning in anger. He got up firing at Aang. Aang deflected his fire with a defence of his own. Aang swayed his stick, knocking Zuko further back down the hill. Zuko got back up, going with all his might against Aang. Using all his power against the Avatar in order to get you back. – “Wait!” – you called out loud. Aang and Zuko stopped.
Aang looking confused at you. – “Don’t hurt him.” – you told Aang. Aang stared dumbfound  at you. Zuko slowly got up as you ran up to him. Slamming yourself against his chest when he had gotten up. Your arms around him. Zuko moved his arms around you as well, lowering his head on your shoulder to feel your embrace deeper.
“I need you Y/n.” – Zuko whispered to you. You hugged him tighter as a response. – “Can someone explain to me what is happening?” – Aang said out loud, looking back at his friends. Sokka and Katara could only stare in shock at the two of you. – “They’re intended.” – Sokka said finding it hard to believe and finding it odd that he was saying it out loud. – “Huh?” – Aang responded.
“We should probably leave.” – Katara whispered to her brother. – “Good idea.” – he whispered back, slowly backing away. The three of them ran off. Zuko and you stopped embracing. He smiled at you, touching your cheek. You brought his hand down, keeping it in yours. Holding hands, you went back down the hill with Zuko.

🐈‍⬛ chat noir x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ syn: you knew chat noir was hopelessly in love with Ladybug already, but you just couldn’t help falling for him, even if it meant getting your own feelings hurt.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ author’s note: many of you who have followed me since last year know this isn’t the usual fan base I write for, but I’ve been so into miraculous lately. I hope those of you who enjoy the show enjoy this too.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ content warning: nothing graphic! All villains are made up and so is the storyline!
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷♡₊˚ 🦢・₊✧ˏˋ°•*⁀➷
𐙚 background:
It’s officially been a year since you received your miraculous; that fateful day when you bumped into master Fu. He granted you your miraculous, and along with that you met your Kwami Roaar, the Kwami of elation, aka your biggest supporter and best friend. You hit it off right away and being granted the miraculous was the best thing that has ever happened to you. Before that, you were just an average student at Françoise Dupont.
But now you fight villains alongside your partners, Ladybug and Chat Noir whom you both admire. It’s been just the three of you until recently. Ladybug has been leaving you and Chat to fight the villain alone while she leaves to hand out miraculous’ to your other hero counterparts. She’s been leaving you guys out in way, completely deserting you and Chat in the dark. You could tell she was in constant stress due to Shadow Moth’s increasing powers and her new role as guardian so you didn’t pry or speak out as much as Chat did.
𐙚 monday:
You shut your alarm off annoyed since you had only gotten 4 hours of sleep due to fighting an akumatized villain all night. The fact you had school made your mood decline even more! You quickly got dressed before saying goodbye to your mom. You walked to school as always and admired the view before catching up with your friend Marinette. “Hey Marinette! How are you?” You exclaimed. You had apparently frightened her since she jumped and yelled, classic Marinette.
M: “Oh hey y/n!! I’m good, and you?”
You chuckled to yourself after seeing her usual klutzy behavior.
Y: “I’m good, just a bit tired.”
M: “Ha yeah, tell me about it.”
Y: “Did you have a long night too?” You asked
M: “Something like that.” She replied
The two of you reached school and started walking to class before meeting with Alya. School was boring… as always and you snoozed through class as you always did. That was until Roaar emerged from your pocket.
“Sleeping again y/n? I told you, you have to start paying attention in class so your grades don’t slip!” Said Roaar.
“Roaar, you know you’re not supposed to be out right now!” You said worriedly, quickly shoving her in your pocket. You sat up because you knew Roaar was right, but started zoning out until school had finally ended. You were so relieved as you packed your bags.
Alya and Marinette approached your desk. “How about some ice cream, girls?” She asked. “And I convinced Nino to bring Adrien ;)” she slyly whispered to Marinette who immediately began blushing and stammering her words. Although Marinette’s admiration for Adrien was supposed to be a secret between the girls, she made it quite obvious due to her aggressive blushing and… interesting behavior around him. “Sure why not!” You reply to Alya. “Great! The boys will meet us there.” Said Alya.
The three of you walk to the ice cream parlor and begin to order. You can see Marinette looking around for Adrien, sooo discreetly. You laugh to yourself before spotting Nino and Adrien. “Hey Marinette, I think there’s someone behind you.” You said. She quickly turned around to see Adrien and her face turned cherry red. “That’s a new shade” you thought to yourself. After everyone ordered, you all sat down and enjoyed some ice cream while discussing school and video games.

You had just gotten home before you heard the news reporting a new akumatized villain. You quickly jumped into action. “Roaar, stripes on!” You said before jumping out your window to find the villain. You met up with Chat Noir and Ladybug on a rooftop near where the villain was attacking. “Looks like we have a villain and a sentimonster in our hands” said Ladybug as she pointed to a demonic-looking girl followed by a giant spider. “Yuck!” You cringed at the disgusting spider?? Thing?? “Let’s just get this over with I can’t stand spiders!” You said. “Oh I thought you had no fears Plumera” Chat said, teasing you. “I just can’t stand spiders! They’re so hairy, just like you and your hairballs Chat.” You said smirking. “Enough talking, let’s get into action.” Said Ladybug, sternly.
You gave each other a determined look and sprung into action. Chat jumped on the spider, attempting to stop it from causing more damages as Ladybug went straight for the akumatized villain. The villain quickly shot lasers at Ladybug but she dodged every single one. You looked to Chat and noticed he was having some troubles with the sentimonster which was about to stomp him. You quickly dove from the ledge you were on and kicked the spiders leg, saving Chat. “Looks like you were the damsel in distress this time” you say, letting out a chuckle. “Yeah yeah, let’s not forget about the multiple times I’ve saved you on a mission.” He replied. “Hmm? There aren’t enough times to remember” you snorted. You both heard Ladybug scream and quickly turned to her. You saw that the akumatized villain had trapped her and was about to laser her. Chat quickly saved her and swooped her up. “Yet another save m’lady” you heard him say flirtatiously. You couldn’t help but feel jealous. You knew Chat was in love with Ladybug, but that couldn’t stop you from crushing on him, even though you didn’t want to. Truth be told you were jealous of Ladybug. Jealous of all the nicknames she would get called by Chat, jealous of how much power she held over him, and most of all jealous of how much she meant to Chat. There were many instances the two completely forgot about you during a mission which in turn led for them to get closer.
You sighed before jumping on the roof, regrouping with them. There were many times you felt that the trio should’ve been a duo, and those emotions got stronger any time you saw Chat and Ladybug low-key flirting. You pushed your thoughts aside as you walked towards the two superheroes. “Get it together Plumera” you whispered to yourself.
“This villain is too powerful, looks like we’ll need the help of my lucky charm!” Ladybug called.
The charm blessed Ladybug with… a pot of honey? You all looked at each other confused. “Maybe the spider wants a sweet treat.” Said Chat. “Maybe the honey is used to attract bees to the villain so she’ll get stung! Aha!” You theorized. “Stung…?” Said Ladybug. “I’ve got it! I just need you two to stall a bit!” Ladybug said as she yo-yo’d away. “Ugh again!” Chat said annoyed. “We have to trust her.” You replied.
C: “But how? She does this all the time! Always disappearing. And lately she keeps adding new heroes on the team.. it’s like we’re not even a duo, I mean trio anymore!” He said.
A duo, you thought. A duo, not a trio…. A duo.
Chat saw your face and knew you were upset. He realized how much his abrupt sentence had hurt you.
C: “I didn’t mean to.. you know what I meant..” said Chat.
“It’s fine” you mutter before jumping at the villain. But it wasn’t fine. You were enraged. Your emotions completely taking over you. You began charging at the villain and attacking, the two of you exchanging kicks. You dodged lasers left and right. You could feel yourself becoming tired but centered your energy and continued to battle. You saw Chat in the distance fighting the giant spider, and it looked like he was losing real bad. “Ladybug hurry up” you muttered, grunting as the villain picked you up and threw you down.
You were getting weak and the villain could see that. She sent a final strike your way, a giant laser beam. You put all your energy together and ran towards it. “Clout!” You screamed as you threw a punch at the laser. You greatly overpowered the villain and she fell to the ground. You found the akumatized object, an Erlenmeyer flask in her hand. Ladybug arrived just in time to release the evil akuma. She had a friend with her, it was Vesperia. “Great seeing you again Plumera!” Vesperia exclaimed. You breathlessly nodded, not being able to fully respond properly as you were extremely weak. “Plumera, go recharge your Kwami, we need all hands on deck to fight this sentimonster.” Said Ladybug. You nodded and ran to the nearest ally.
“Roaar, stripes off.” You grunted. You hand Roaar a piece of durian and she looked at you concerned. “Are you okay y/n you seem a bit down.” She said. “Did Chat and Ladybug leave you out again?” She asked, with an angry expression on her face. You sighed. “Something like that.” You looked down, waiting for her to finish eating. “Y/n, please don’t give up! I know how much you want to be with Chat, so just try your best to focus on the goal, okay?” She said. “Okay, I’ll try, but for now, Roaar, stripes on!” You said, ready to fight yet again.
You jumped to Ladybug, she had just sent Vesperia to a secure hiding spot. “Chat will trip the spider with his stick, and while it’s distracted, Vesperia will hit it with venom. I want you to hit it with your clout after, okay? It’ll be the final blow.” Said Ladybug. You nodded and jumped to a nearby area. You waited until Chat started the plan, and began preparing yourself. You saw Vesperia hit the sentimonster with her venom and after that you charged for action. “Clout!!!” You screamed as you jumped at the spider.
The sentimonster was finally taken down. You let out a sigh. “I can’t wait to get home.” You said to yourself. Ladybug set the feather free and fixed everything with her miraculous ladybugs. You all regrouped on a rooftop and put your fists together. “Pound it!” You all exclaimed. “I have to take Vesperia’s miraculous back now before I transform back. See you guys next time!” Said Ladybug.
As you were about to leave, you heard Chat calling you. “Plumera, wait! Don’t go yet.” He said. You were annoyed and most of all tired! All you wanted was to just go home and lay on your bed. You rolled your eyes before turning around. “Why? So you can leave me out of your ‘duo’ again?” You asked.
C: “You know I didn’t mean it like that”
Y: “Then how did you ‘mean it?’”
C: “I-i just wasn’t thinking, I’m sorry Plumera. You know Ladybug and I are so grateful to have you on the team.”
You looked down, trying not to break. “Yeah.. sure. I’ll see you next time.” You said before heading home. “Plumera- WAIT!!!” You heard him yell, but you weren’t listening.
