QSO Hunting During Winter Storm Kingston in Gastonia (NC)

Earlier today (Thursday), I managed to make a confirmed QSO in the middle of Winter Storm Kingston here in Gastonia, NC! Despite the freezing temps and snow, the bands were open just enough to get through. Nothing like braving the elements with a good radio and a solid signal!

Mother Nature may try to shut things down, but radio doesn’t stop for the weather. 73s and stay warm out there!
