What are your pokémon's favorite snacks? I love the dynamic they all have together, especially Dusk, and I would just love to know more details about them! (I also love your comics so much!!)

OOOOHHH  That is a really cute question, I love it! :D It actually inspired me to make a full drawn reply, so this one took quite some time to answer haha...

I’m gonna focus on the main 7 for now and maybe do El’s other Pokemon (Kuzon |Galvantula |, Titan |Golisopod |, Mjoki |Vivillon |, ect.) another time, since they’re not nEARLY as developed yet as the rest of the team...

Lumion’s favorite are blue Pokeblocks+ made out of Belue-, Corrn- and Magost-Berries. The fourth ingredient always varies between a Coba-, Kelpsy- or Bluk-Berry. However, since Belue, Corrn and Magost-Berries aren’t common in Alola, El currently can’t make any of Lumion’s favorite Pokeblocks for her, so she likes to snack on fresh Oran-Berries instead.

Sweets loves anything sweet! :D Since her natural diet is nectar, she is very fond of sweet Malasadas. But she has also grown to love crisp and fresh Pokebeans. The rare yellow ones are her favorite for OBVIOUS reasons...

Dusk can technically digest any food he desires. Question is if he actually DOES need to eat, since he is a haunted inanimate object…but he seems to enjoy doing it! Every food he “eats”...just...dissolves and disappears into his system somehow. He likes to freak out strangers with it. He’ll eat Pokebeans with his friends, but when he gets the chance, he actually prefers warm food, especially salty stuff like french fries or pizza when El shares hers with him.

Latias likes Pokepuffs the most, she loves the sweet creamy taste of them! The pink, cherry/vanilla-ones are her favorite, they’re her number 1 comfort-food. Luckily El has found a bakery that produces the delicious treats from Kalos, so her shy, sensitive dragon is happy. 

Leia (on the right) has taken a liking to Pokebeans, but Kira (left) not so much. El has watched her swimming at the beach, hunting for Wishiwashi to catch. It makes her feel accomplished to hunt her own food from time to time, while her sister Leia prefers the easy life and likes to eat the dry food El gets for her. However, they both seem to enjoy minty Pokepuffs!

Jenna is a mystery. No one quite seems to know what she particularly likes, because she will just eat what everyone else is currently eating. She is HARD to read. She always eats in company with the group but you can never tell if she actually likes the food. El appreciates her not being picky, but Dusk has been trying to figure out if she DOES have any favorite snack…he is currently expecting it to be algae, but that’s a HARD “Maybe”.

Instead of being revived as a Monster, they get revived as a HUMAN! Mainly because I thought it'd be funny to do an entire inverse of the whole Clover Revival thing, they start as a Monster and end as a Human

I'm proud of my smear falling frames because I was originally going to do a whole frame by frame falling, but decided against it because this is already too long (100 FRAMES!) and it really works with how fast they fall out and onto their face

Hey wait if clover revived as a monster..

What does that say about the others?

monster souls are made of love, hope, and compassion; monsters loved clover enough to give them a bit of their soul so they could have their own, without even knowing. clover also had enough hope and compassion to fill in the rest, with leftover dregs from their own human soul

basically, clover got very, very lucky that they had all 3 necessary requirements happen at the same time. the others were,, not as lucky
