"Footnote to Youth" - A Formalist Approach
The story Footnote to Youth talks about reality when you get married in an early age, having children, having responsibilities in a young age. The characters are Dodong, Dodong's father and mother, Teang, Lucio, Blas, Tona, and the 6 children of Teang and Dodong, and hilot the setting of the story happend on the farm in the province. The conflict of the story is man vs himself because the characters struggle in the story from making a wrong decision in their life. The moral in the story is don't rush things, think before you make decisions in life and take marriage seriously because marriage is not a joke and it has many responsibilities for you to face.

“Footnote to Youth”- A Readers Response Approach
The story, "Footnote to Youth," is fantastic. It illustrates how life is different in poverty. I assumed that this would be a story about a child who will raise his family from poverty, but it is not instead, it depicts reality, as it is happening all over the Philippines. It demonstrates how difficult life is when you don't study and be married in the early age. I loved how the story is made even if it some part of the story confuses me and it shows that life is not easy. It tells us that being married in early age is not a joke and it tells us to study hard for us to have a good life, and not to become like Dogong’s life.

“Footnote to Youth”- A Feminist Approach
the story Footnote to Youth, demonstrates how Teang and Dodong's mother is silent throughout the story. Let's begin with Dodong's mother, dinner was already on the table when Dodong returned from his river bath. Dodong, who appeared tired, merely instructed her mother to wash the dirty clothes in the river. As a result, I've assumed that the Mother is solely responsible for all household tasks, from meal preparation to cleaning. Rather than assisting her mother with her responsibilities, Dodong felt sorry for her because she didn't have a "daughter" to help her. As a result, it reveals that they only see women as housewives. Then there was Teang, who was described as a wrinkled lady whose body had been worn out by childbirth and household tasks.

“Footnote to Youth”-A Marxist Approach
The story depicts how Dodong and his family lack of wealth. Because of their lack of money they could not afford to pay electricity from the lines of "using a petroleoum lamp" it shows they can't afford to buy electricity and they only have minimal foods, and also, Dodong only bathes in the river.According to the story they are farmers,Dodong doesn't go to school, so he doesn't know what "Family Planning" is because he doesn't know why the children just keep coming. Dodong gave this life to her wife teang and because of low income from farming. Dodong's life in the story remained low because he doesn't study and he was always in the farm working and also was married in the early age.

When I see a Barong-Barong
Maximo Ramos's poem depicts the aftermath of the Philippines war. The poem illustrates how Filipinos continue to stand and fight to face any war and struggle in life. It exemplifies how we, countrymen, can still stand after overcoming adversity because that's what Filipino can do, we stand again and fight with determination. Maximo doesn't give up having hope for us, regardless of having a clash with other country's, he regards it with admiration and reverence because of the Filipinos ability to recover slowly from a stressful encounter. The poem is all about the early Manila and how they stand up after a great war. It addressed the poem carefully, even if they're in despair it gave them hope to stand up again and fight after the war. It conveyed to readers how the Filipinos withstand all the struggles and how they can still stand with a confident smile. It gave us the confidence to stand and fight after a struggle in life happened.

Critique Poetry of Pablo Neruda
The poem “If You Forget Me” by Pablo Neruda tells how deep his love is for his lover through the use of imagery. It’s as if everything he stumbles on, still carries him to his lover. But at the end of the poem he depicts his insecurities and how reciprocity is important in a relationship. He fears to be left behind, so he gives to his lover what his lover gives to him for I think that he wouldn’t be wounded badly at the end of their relationship.

“Where’s the Patis”
Traveling has become a wonderful Filipino hope. Visiting Hong Kong, Tokyo and other Asian cities is the sum of all the delights. But the dream transforms very easily into a nightmare. The Filipino spirit's first bastion is the palate. And there is no patis to be had in all the palaces and fleshpots and skyscrapers of that magic world called 'abroad.' He hardly lacks the sun, Tagalog or Ilongo's native accents, or the company of his cheerful brown-skinned compatriots. In Europe and America, rice is considered a vegetable. Rice is a vegetable, The Pinoy discovers. The staff of Vegetable Life! Where are the dummies? And when it comes to a particular order, the grains take at least half an hour.

"Is it necessary for a student to utilize the use of academic text when internet connction is ready to use"
Yes students still need to utilize the use of academic text. Academic text is everywhere because you can find academic text in internet or library. Academic text is still need to be utilize because the internet does not have all the information we need to know. Sometimes all the information in the internet is not true and they change the facts in the internet. You can still search information in the internet but the information given to us not reliable sometimes. The academic text have much more solid information than the internet. Sometimes it's hard to use internet because of the signal or wifi in area therefore you can't search information about something you want to know and in academic text you don't need wifi the search you just gonna browse books to know the information you want to know. In our situation now it's hard to get an internet connection due to pandemic that's why we need to utilize the academic text. As a student the academic text is much more realible than the internet because the academic texts have trust worthy information than the internet because sometimes the information given to us by the internet is fake and it's not solid information than the academic text.

Current events with this “rape” case of flight attendant Christine Dacera was told to the public too soon. This causes misleading informations to the people and suspect’s reputation was destroyed with no evidence. Stated in the article, ‘Be more circumspect' in dealing with Dacera case, women's rights advocate tells PNP. Movido, A. (2021). “Before you release any statement, make sure that it's verified.” said by Ambrosio. They should have waited for the autopsy report before going into conclusions and telling it to the public. This made a huge impact to the audience and went trending all over social media. This should be a lesson that we should be mindful of what we are going to address to the public because misleading information may affect people’s name, confusion, and hatred. The other time around, they should be more careful. Although they may be professionals, they still must be very careful on certain things specially when it will be addressed to the public.
