Howdy! It sure has been a while, hasn't it? I've been getting back into drawing (again), and slowly but surely working on improving or at least getting back to where I was in skill. And for my first completed piece since returning, I bring upon you... a chibi! Watermarked this one for public posting. A friend wanted me to send her a chibi of my character for her birthday stream coming up in a few weeks and wanted to put together a banner with chibis of all her friends. I was actually extremely happy with how this one turned out for my first piece back, especially the eyes as I wanted to try something new. I gotta say, not bad... not bad at all. Oh, look at me ranting now, I'll stop before I type the day away. Have a wonderful day everyone, and safe travels!

Reblogging this again, since I recently failed to use the two hotlines at the top of this list myself. I fell into a really, really deep hole mid-October last year and stopped posting everywhere, started isolating, and hit my breaking point in February. But I'm back, still in recovery but still here and kicking. I don't think I can stress this enough right now, but if you're feeling useless or like you don't matter: You do. Those you know do in fact care about you and they won't hesitate to pick up the phone if you're in a bad spot. You might feel like you have no purpose, but maybe you've just yet to find it, right there, just a small distance away and waiting for you to move your hand a little bit to grab it. If you can't reach it, then your friends and loved ones will lend you a hand, get you back up on your feet and help you over to that purpose, that spark that'll let you keep churning forth. I'm not much of a writer, but I at least want to give those that are in a similar hole a ladder of some sort. Just give your close friends a call, talk with them, confide what you're feeling, tell them your situation, just reach out. They'll help however they can, they won't leave you hanging. But, even if you do reach out to your friends and loved ones, don't just stop there, remember that you still have these hotlines, even if it's just a small bout of depression in your eyes, give them a call. Nothing is ever small with depression.

@tadc-funfair-au's Pomctober/Pomni Inktober Day 5 - @sm-baby's Carnival AU

WALL OF TEXT INCOMING

Hands down, no competition, my favorite AU to read and learn about as it unfolds. On the other hand, this might be the one that I am least proud of after drawing. I know I said that I'd come out swinging for Day 5, but I legitimately couldn't find the vision. I feel like I made so, so many mistakes just on this one alone. Ignoring the practical mistakes for a second, for some reason, I had such a hard time thinking on what I wanted to have as the setting. I thought of using Pomni's tent with her on the dive-board or on a pedestal you see the ringmaster standing on, then I thought in the bedroom hallway, and even after sleeping on it I still couldn't get it right. Eventually I just decided to draw sentient Pomni outside of Kinger's throne room (at least I'm pretty sure Kinger would have an ornate entryway to his room, idk). I'm absolutely terrible at drawing environments, interior or otherwise, only reason why I thought Day 3's background looked remotely good was because I was able to use the horror aspect of it to cover it up, but Carnival doesn't have the same attributes to use as a veil. But it's whatever, I can't bring myself to touch the file further since I know that it's just going to get worse.

I'm going to skip over Day 6 completely for two reasons: One, refresh my mind in terms of drawing TADC and do research for Day 7. Two, I don't feel like logging into Instagram (or twitter, which means that I'm going to skip over Day 10 as well).

Now, while I am going to stop drawing TADC and Pomctober for tomorrow, I've found another Inktober prompt list, Goretober. So I'm going to just do a few drawings for that one and warning people in advance that do not wish to see that kind of stuff: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, GO SET YOUR FILTERED TAGS TO INCLUDE "cw: guro", "cw: blood", "cw: death" AND/OR "cw: gore"! I'll be including the Violence content label but this is just for good measure.

With that, finally, I'm done with the usual ranting. Again, I'm going to be posting a few very violent and bloody sketches for Goretober later on, so go filter out the tags I listed above by going to "Settings" > "Account" > "Content you see" > "Filtered Tags". Those posts won't be showing up often, and I might make an entirely separate blog in the future just to make sure that my usual content isn't mixed in with the mature. @tadc-funfair-au's Pomctober/Pomni Inktober Day 4 - @etanow's Monster Labs AU

Drawing one last prompt to get up to speed before I go to sleep, didn't really focus too hard on this one. Nothing much to say here, and I don't wanna make this rant as long as Day 3. Though I will say, eta, I will eventually come back and re-do Zombni properly and not leave you with just the room of w h i t e v o i d before the month is done. But, for now, I'm very tired and just wanted to draw something a 'lil silly.

I've been thinking a little on what I wanted to do for Day 31, and I'm torn between a few things, putting Pomni in a Space Marine suit from 40k, turn Pomni into a pumpkin and make her into a Pompkni, make her a witch with the obligatory comically large hat, the list goes on and on. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say before I take a snooze, I'll see you later for Day 5, safe travels!

@tadc-funfair-au's Pomctober/Pomni Inktober Day 3... kinda - @hootbon's Freakshow AU

Gonna be honest, this one stumped me on what I wanted to do with it. While I was ruminating, I found an old music box that I have, so I played it and the realization made me feel like a fool. So I had the background and pedestal all worked out, I just needed to figure out what pose I was going to draw Pomni in, I knew it had to be ballerina-ish and puppeteer'd in a way, but Freakshow's mouth had me foaming at mine since I just couldn't seem to figure out where I wanted her to look. But, after many hours had passed, I eventually came up with this, and while I definitely preferred making Day 2 over today, I can't really complain. Though I might skim over Monster Labs for Day 4 and just make a quick uncolored and barren full-body sketch since I've been sleep deprived for WAY too long (forgive me eta), once I'm refreshed in a few hours I'll come out swinging for Carnival and Day 5.

On another note, I was in emotional tatters after watching episode 3, no spoilers since I wanna stick to the 1 week rule. Welp, I won't keep you here any longer, safe travels!

@tadc-funfair-au's Pomctober/Pomni Inktober Day 2... ish - @dhl-au's Digital Horror Land AU

Alright, so I ended up doing a couple of practice doodles and sketches prior to this one to kind of get back into the feel of drawing for real. But I didn't realize that I was sketching for nearly 2 days without actually making anything for the event (whoopsie daisy). So I, in my infinite wisdom, decided to pull an all-nighter and draw both this and the Freakshow AU prompts (posting that one a few hours after this).

But being serious, I really enjoyed drawing this one. I think it was a good idea to participate. Btw, episode 3 is coming out later today and I am more excited about that than literally anything else. 'Tis all, safe travels!

Pomni Inktober Day 1 - @obamerzslop's Terrible Circus AU Recently picked my pen back up and decided to participate in a few of the Inktober events as a refresher after developing a new hyper fixation on TADC and it's AUs, as a result I found this AU, which I find pretty cool! I'm also wholly and woefully unfamiliar with posting on tumblr so my dearest apologies if I look like a matchbox car here.
