Since so many people with little media literacy hate Mizi now I've come to the conclusion that if the comic made you see Mizi as the villain in the story you have a low IQ and you don't deserve her in the first place so please keep hating!!! Mizi is for educated baddies and lesbians only!

Something as simple as making pride pins for my coworkers and extending that gesture to their partners, including the queer partners of my straight coworkers whether I have even met them or not, has inadvertently made me reflect on what pride is beyond a definition that can be written in a dictionary.

Did I expect making a lesboy pin out of shrinky donk paper in the shape of a shrimp to cause me to sit in such a deep state of self reflection? No. But I'm glad it did. Because it was an act of community care between queer people. It was an expression of joy and love and connection. It was an act of celebration. Rainbow capitalism can't create the same gratitude that I received by giving the people around me a crappy asexual koala pin that they'll cherish at their next parade.

Art and creativity is an integral part to queerness. The first pride flag existed for many many years before it saw the light of mass production, but that didn't stop drag queens and stone butches from flying colorful banners in spite of the government and their families. The ones brave enough to be visible made business men and house wives shield their children's eyes with the flamboyant clothes they made themselves and flaunting the needle shaped scabs on their fingers. These trailblazers made way for the blue haired teens and pierced and tatted 20 something gas station workers that would be given the privilege of marrying their future partner that they haven't met yet while two 50 something women who have lived together for 30 years can finally exchange last names on a piece of paper.

So this year, the first year Starbucks has taken away their corporate made pride playlist, make your friends and members of your community a button with supplies you got from Michaels and crayons in your room that have been collecting dust from middle school while you criticize rainbow capitalism and hold space to realize that your criticisms of it are a privilege at the same time. Fight the urge to send death threats to self identifying lesboys, dykes, and sissy boys as you point your finger of respectability politics because the government is after you next whether you have someone to bully or not. Embrace queer art and don't shame people for their expression, especially when they pour their own experiences into their art, experiences that queer people are statistically more likely to be victims of.

Pride is resistance. If you turn your nose at your fellow queer for their expression, you are no better than the cops that black drag queens would have thrown bricks at in the 60s.

I feel like a lot of people don't fully understand what their own beliefs are and it has led to the "so left it circles back to the right" phenomenon becoming more and more true. They think that being queer and self identifying as disabled is enough to be considered a morally correct individual that has been victimized their entire life and now recognizes how to identify their oppressors and make them lay. But in reality, you use right wing talking points and strategies. Fictional characters, like the unborn, are the perfect group to champion for. They aren't real so they have no demands, no thoughts, no feelings, and no wants. They have the inability to be hurt, so they will never be saved until you decide they are. Until every last baby murderer, I mean proshipper, is harassed and doxxed and called all these terms that have a legal definition behind them that they don't meet, there are fictional characters needing to be saved. Drive them off the internet, find the names of their abusers and cross your fingers hoping they get retraumatized, or even better, killed! Tell a sea of faceless people who agree with you how much you think someone deserves to die all while forgetting the person you're harassing is a person because if you can't see them or even get any confirmation that their life is going terrible or not, it's fine. That's not a life to you. You're so prolife, I mean anti ship, that those dirty dirty people who are real are the ones who deserve to die for the greater good so that these pixels can be saved. You did it. Congratulations. You didn't get a medal or a pat on the back. Oh no, you're too humble for that. Your own words echoing back to you from the mouths of others is its own thanks. Now you just have to cross your fingers and hope that no one finds out about the abortions you paid for, I mean, the incest art you made. But it's not like that would really hurt your reputation anyway. You have so many followers that as long as you hate baby murderers too and rally around the promise that you'll get rid of them, you'll never be in the wrong because they're worse.

do you have a link to debunking the knowing association with groomers or a comment on that, everything I have seen from your side is addressing the proship (which you are obviously correct about. it is nuts for people to care what people draw with their own ocs privately) but there was some screenshots in the doc that were actually concerning and seemed to be real grooming with people claimed to be associates, and it was claimed KC knowingly associates. I have not seen strong evidence for either of those claims, however.

as always, its stuff blown out of proportion by antis. the person accusing woofles of grooming is a liar and for oliver its a complex situation but i know nothing bad intentionally happened. its not my place to go and announce my friends' personal business but no one Eve associates with is any danger to anyone.
