Carmen suggests going out for some drinks following a tragic day resulting in a funeral for a fallen exorcist. The brothers agree to join her, and Rin ends up finding Tilly, the diner waitress, at the bar as well. The night results in both of the brothers finding some sense of emotional healing in each of their own ways with Carmen and Tilly.

Yukio immediately hits the books to find out everything he can about voodoo and black magic. The research leaves him stressed as Rin pulls him away for a little while to go out and get breakfast. But, their morning outing turns into a dangerous encounter with a tragic outcome.

A hard day of investigating turns into a wholesome night over gumbo and books. Carmen’s unexpected visit leads to a deeper connection between her and Yukio, and Rin’s more vulnerable side is exposed.

Blue Exorcist art dump! No new chapter this week because I’ve been heavy in con prep and 4th of July weekend was busy, but here’s some drawings I’ve done over the last few weeks from my fan fic. I made a promo poster for Tekko that I will be displaying at my table with the AO3 link that takes you right to the fan fic. The other ones are snippets from the last few chapters I posted. I especially like the last one 😂

Read Chapter Eight

Carmen sends Yukio a list of voodoo shops for the brothers to find out more about the contents of the mysterious box Rin found in the woods. But, they soon find out that getting answers from the shopkeepers is more difficult than they expected.

Read Chapter Seven

After Yukio and Carmen go out on the bayou, Rin goes off to search in the woods where he stumbles upon a mysterious campsite. Bones are strung up with wind chimes in the tree branches and scattered over the ground. And among those bones is a human skull. Rin also finds he’s not alone in the woods.

Read Chapter Six

Having the warrant signed and ready, the brothers and Carmen begin their search around the church and the surrounding area. After having no luck searching the mess hall and the mausoleum, Rin goes to search the woods while Yukio and Carmen take a boat out on the bayou, and find something waiting for them lurking beneath the murky water.

Read Chapter Five

Rin and Yukio find there are a lot of holes in the Blackwater investigation, and one of the people that can fill those holes is Mason, the exorcist that despises the brothers. Upon having to unexpectedly ask him for information, Mason won’t give any answers unless one of the brothers accepts his challenge to duel him and beat him in a sparring session.

Liam de Lioncourt from Monster Prom! I played Monster Prom a long time ago and just recently played Monster Con with friends a week or so ago, which is the fourth game, I believe? Anyway, I managed to successfully romance this vampire boy in the game this time and had to draw him! The game is super cute and hilarious especially when you play with friends, and I love the art style.

Read Chapter Four

The brothers finally meet Pastor Martin and see the Blackwater Revival church. Pastor Martin tells them everything he knows about the town and the epidemic within it. But, when they enter the church, they are met with a grotesque scene and discover a shocking detail not mentioned in the case file.

Read Chapter Three

Father Fontaine, the head priest/director of the St. Louis Cathedral Branch, gives Rin and Yukio a brief rundown of the situation in the town of Blackwater. He is impressed by Yukio’s deductions of the investigation so far, but he makes his reservations about Rin very clear. The brothers soon find out that Father Fontaine isn’t the only one with reservations as their welcome among some of the other exorcists isn’t as warm as Carmen’s.

Meet Carmen, my oc that’s part of my Blue Exorcist fan fiction! Carmen Torres is a senior exorcist at the St. Louis Cathedral Exorcist Branch in New Orleans who helps Rin and Yukio on their mission. She also comes to be Yukio’s love interest and plays a vital role in Yukio’s character development as the story progresses. Like Yukio, she is a dragoon exorcist, specializing in sharpshooting, and also has a love for books. She is tenacious, fearless, caring and not easily rattled, which is what helps her in aiding the brothers on their mission against Satan whereas the other exorcists in the St. Louis Cathedral branch have their reservations about the brothers and the mission. Read Chapter Two

Rin and Yukio arrive in New Orleans and are greeted by Carmen Torres, a senior exorcist of the St. Louis Cathedral Branch. They both take a liking to her, especially Yukio, and sibling rivalry starts to kick in between them as they get themselves settled and familiar with the city while also preparing for their meeting with the director the next day.

Read Chapter One

After just finishing up a dangerous mission with a fire demon in Okinawa, Mephisto gives Rin and Yukio orders from the Vatican to travel to America for a special mission in New Orleans, Louisiana that involves Satan. The details of the mission are high-priority and haunting, leaving the brothers both eager and weary to get over there.

Cover art for a Blue Exorcist fan fic I’m writing! I’m still waiting on the invitation to get sent to me before I can make an account on AO3, but I will be posting the story there hopefully very soon! Here’s a little summary of what the story is about:

Exorcist brothers and sons of Satan, Rin and Yukio Okumura, are tasked to go to America’s Deep South, also known as the “Bible Belt”. Their mission takes them to New Orleans, Louisiana to investigate a series of demonic possessions centered around a church in a bayou called Blackwater Revival that may have something to do with Satan. But the more they investigate, the more they realize they may also be up against a bit of voodoo and black magic.

It’s my first time writing a fan fic so I’m very excited and also kinda nervous haha But I’m looking forward to writing again. I’ve been wanting to get back into it since I edited that old novel of mine and released it earlier this year. I’m ready to start writing full stories again so this fan fic is a great way to break out my keyboard and get back into it!
