So Rui was in Clementina before being transferred to Obscuary, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was BEFORE the house shut down and when he got turned into a reaper.

The one eyed sleeping beauty case STARTED the clash and Rui was a suspect I feel like he was already a reaper at that point which factored into him being a suspect (he pleads oopsie dasiy)

Anyways it's also mentioned that he'd GO to Clementia to consult consult about his curse so he most likely got turned into a reaper during his FIRST GODDAMN YEAR AT DARKWICK.

GEEZUS. Anyways yeah there's be no reason for him to go to Clementia just to consult Haku if they were literally in the same house. Meaning he was already transferred to Obscuary and then Clementia shut down literally a year later.
