Hi Ktdsi, while looking for inspiration for doing a Irmo cosplay I found your very unique take on this character, with wings sprouting from behind his ears (I was thinking wing theme as well, considering the parallels of the brothers Mandos and Irmo and Thanatos and Hypnos in greek mythology, but the placing is intriguing!) and the cloth/gag in front of his mouth. I was curious about the latter; what gave you this idea? And would you mind if I used this idea for my cosplay?

The idea of ​​this mask (well, it may not make much sense haha), but what I imagined is that, being Irmo the master of visions and dreams, I think of him as a being who is silent, patient, calm, who does not waste time dropping words in vain. Your "world is mental", where saying it out loud is not necessary. I don't know if it was a "correct" interpretation, if any, for the character. But I like to think of him like that. A creature that doesn't have to speak verbally, by choice. As if it were a vow of silence, and that was part of his introspective nature. Well, that's my view of that character today. In a few years, that could change, for now I am happy with what I think about Irmo. I think this is the duty of the books, let's imagine what the characters want to tell us between the lines, or just tell us something, silently (since there is little information about Irmo  😭 (as well as other magnificent Tolkien characters)), everything is in the imagination.
