Movie “Touken Ranbu“ story

June the 2nd, on the 10th year of the Tensho era (1582), Kyoto - Honnouji.

The hands of evil seeking to alter history are closing on to the events of the “Honnouji Incident”, where Akechi Mitsuhide attacked Oda Nobunaga. Still, the plan of the Time Retrograde Army is thwarted by the Sword Warriors.

However, shortly after their successful return from their mission, they receive an unexpected information: “Nobunaga still lives.”. In order to turn history back to its original shape, the Sword Warriors return once again to the past to assassinate Oda Nobunaga.

How did Nobunaga survive?

A shadow moving in a suspicious way…

The time Retrograde Army that continues to interfere in history…

Mikazuki Munechika may have realised their true goal…

But what is the correct history?

The fight to protect what must be protected starts now!

Touken Ranbu Orchestra Director’s Cut

So I wanted to share the director’s cut version and the dvd of the Touken Ranbu orchestral concert. If you don’t know what it is, I previously talked about it here. 

The director’s cut is super important because it has:

Footage of the full version of all the starter attendant songs

Footage of all the new voiced lines for the starters 

In the previous rip I shared we only got to hear Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki’s full attendant song and new lines, but now you can see them too for Hachisuka Kotetsu, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, and Kasen Kanesada. Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki’s full concert is included too.

Also let me remind you that the orchestra is meant to represent the game’s citadel, so these lines are part of the game canon yo. They’re all subbed so watch it and weep because they’re so sweet.

Shunya Joined the rehearsals for kakuriyo no yadomeshi stage and they reached the rehearsals in costume, can’t wait to have images from the actual play.

The goods have confirmed there will be a DVD sold at the venue, i really hope there will be an online sale too sonce i don’t think there is anyone in my usual goods order circle that goes to this one !

Kuromyu Masterpost

All right, hold onto your butts, people. By popular demand, here’s the full extent of everything that I have related to the various Kuroshitsuji Musicals. It’ll be updated as I work-on-slash-obtain more things, and I’m linking this post on the sidebar of my blog as well, to be easily located.

Everything except the original Lycoris file is going to be posted to my 4Shared account. Hopefully I’ll have enough space for everything. (Lycoris is just a few megabytes over the individual size limit and will be on my Google Drive instead.)

 Any subtitles will be in .ass format (yes, I know, lol, etc. XDDD), which means that they will play automatically if they are in the same folder and have the same name as your video file. I recommend the VLC video player; it doesn’t work with Windows Media Player for some reason. Everything will have the correct file names when downloaded, and every subtitle file will have credits for the translations. And if anyone wants to volunteer some translations for the backstage stuff, I’d put together sub files and be eternally grateful.

Placing everything under a cut for easy editing purposes.

Giant Freaking Japanese Color List

This list’s intention is to give quite a few common-ish colors a home together in one post for learning purposes and spicing up one’s color vocabulary. For color names that don’t match their English equivalents, I’ve given what I feel is the most accurate translation of the name, plus the literal meaning of the Japanese name for the color. I’ve mostly excluded color names like 

真っ黒（まっくろ）pure black

墨色（すみいろ）inky black (literally ink color)

濡れ羽色（ぬればいろ）jet black (literally wet wing color)

烏羽色（からすばいろ) glossy black (literally crow wing black)

鈍色（にぶいろ）dark, dull grey (literally dull color)

鉛色（なまりいろ）lead color (livid)

鼠色（ねずみいろ) darkish grey, like rat fur (literally rat color)

鋼色（はがねいろ）steel color (steel blue, blueish-gray)

桜色（さくらいろ）pale pink (literally cherry blossom color)

桃色（ももいろ）light pink (literally (Japanese) peach color)

岩礁色（がんしょういろ）coral reef color (darkish pink)

真っ赤（まっか）pure red

紅梅色（こうばいいろ）red Japanese plum color

紅色（べにいろ）crimson

鉄色（てついろ）reddish-black (literally iron color)

橙色（だいだいいろ）orange

青緑色 or 青緑（せいりょくしょく or あおみどり)   turquoise/ aqua (literally blue-green color)

碧色（へきしょく）greenish-blue (sorta that sea water blue color)

真っ青（まっさお）pure blue

白殺しor 藍白 (しろころし or あいじろ）very light whitish blue (literally white killing or indigo white)

Alright, that about covers everything I wanted to put in this post. I shied away from including colors that are loanwords (like オリーブ色）because they are usually pretty self-explanatory. feel free to correct me if I made any errors, or add other colors you find important which I may have missed. According to jp twitter the main flowers in the 2018 Tanki Shutsujin visual are Dahlias, and in flower language they mean:

Red: Splendor, magnificence, elegance. 

White: Gratitude, abundant love. 

Which is 100% perfect for Kashuu and the musical. 

Other flowers I noticed were Anthurium also meaning passion and Bird of Paradise which is my favorite because its meaning in flower language refers to how amazed and excited people become after seeing such a beautiful, exotic flower. The meaning is pompous love, stylish lover, it fits him so well.

♪MP: Remaining soul heart you can give to your kijyushi to heal them

♪EP: Event Point, the point you will need to go on Event that will be hold on once every 4 days!

♪RP: Resistance Points, it is like ‘money’ you use to levelling up your kijyushis faster!

♪Noble Stones: It is amount of stones for gacha. See the 277? That is the amount of Noble Stones that I have.

♪Gift box: Well just a gift box of course-

♪Sealed letter: Announcement box.

♪Trophy: Daily quests and quests informations
