Blake really went into the Battle of Haven to stop her evil ex and randomly found her friends that she hadn't seen since Beacon there and ten minutes later was just fighting alongside them. Did she know the people she was fighting? Well, two of them. Did she know why exactly they're fighting them? Nope. Did she care? Nope. No need to know what the fuck was going on. She just went in and kicked Hazel on the face and started swinging. Friends are fighting so no context needed, just kick their asses. Talk about a real ride or die lmao.

While he certainly does not enjoy doing so, Corsac has no problem with taking the lives of others, and has done so on numerous occasions.

Corsac and Fennec grew up in a tribe outside Vacuo, so fighting--even killing--was necessary for survival. It made them plenty of enemies, which neither brother was happy about as it meant they were constantly moving from one encampment to another. After their parents were killed and the tribe disbanded, Corsac and Fennec promised each other they wouldn't become the killers their parents wanted them to be.

However, suffering through years of abuse and discrimination could break anyone, and after being shown nothing but ruthlessness and mercilessness, Corsac broke, deciding it was okay to be just that. He killed the thugs that tried to cut off his brothers ears; they deserved it, he thinks. He killed the security guard that beat him bloody; the man was doing his job, sure, but Fennec was sick and that was far more important.

During his time in the White Fang, at least under Sienna Khan's rule, Corsac probably killed others he doesn't even remember. If he has anything in common with the humans that despise him, it is the belief that the world is dark--kill or be killed.

Marrow enrolled into Atlas Academy a year later than most, at the age of 18 rather than 17. Much like Blake Belladonna, he didn't attend a combat school beforehand, and yet passed Atlas Academy's entrance exam with flying colors. Also like Blake, this is due to the fact that he spent several years within the White Fang. However, unlike her, he left once the organization started to become violent under the leadership of Sienna Khan. Having grown up in the ghettos of Mantle, Marrow is naturally more aware than most of the discrimination and inequality the Faunus face. However, he has never liked the idea of the use of violence under the guise of justice, and couldn't stomach the idea of following somebody who advocates for such. Ironic how he ended up in a similar situation after becoming one of Atlas's top elite huntsman, the Ace Ops.

Corsac and Fennec have had little to no experience in dealing with children, thus are extraordinarily uncomfortable around them. They don't understand their mannerisms, the excessive crying and tantrums trying to get their way (Corsac especially find this irritating), and can't relate to their simple mindsets. The longest they'd been around a child was when they joined the White Fang. As the child of the original founder, Blake was around quite a bit; Corsac and Fennec were around fifteen years old, putting Blake around five or six.

Between the two of them, Corsac openly expresses dislike towards children, going as far as to say he hates them. They're too messy and too loud, he says, and has expressed no desire into being a father (something that became a bit of a problem in a previous relationship of his). As he is already somewhat anti-social and cold, he finds it difficult to communicate with them, ultimately giving up after about a minute or two.

Fennec, on the other hand, at least makes an attempt to understand and be as friendly as he possibly can with children. Even then, they still frustrate and perplex him, and he has a tendency to lose his patience rather quickly if they question his ears. He has expressed no interest in having children, but this is mostly due to the line of questioning never really being brought up, as he has never been in such a serious relationship with someone.

Ironically enough, if either of them were to actually try, neither of them would necessarily be terrible parents. While they believe it is what made them the strong survivors they are, Corsac and Fennec are all too aware of how rotten their childhood was; how truly awful their parents were, treating them more like soldiers than children. But regardless of how they feel their upbringing effected them as adults, they remember feeling helpless and unwanted, and could never imagine treating a child the same way. If either of them were to be a parent or guardian, under any circumstances, they would try to be better--even if they wouldn't know how to do it.
