From the girl’s reaction, Cloud can guess that’s not the first time this happens. That’s why he does nothing but agree to wait when the girl asks him to; if she wanted to talk about the weird weasel thing, she would’ve. She comes back with an enveloppe - Cloud takes it, thinking the other man’s place is on the road back home anyway. “I should be able to get it to him in a day or two.”

Hm… speaking of home.

“Do you know where I could buy…” His glance drops from her face and he reaches for something in his pocket. He gets a rumpled piece of paper from it, on which a list is written neatly. “Kale and… daikon?” It honestly sounds more like he’s confused and asking for confirmation on the pronounciation. Cloud could swear Tifa was playing with him. Everytime he learned about a new vegetable, she started asking for another he didn’t know!

She wondered for a moment what Okabe's reaction would be at receiving an empty envelope. It wasn't like he deserved a serious response instead anyway. " Alright. "

 Kurisu blinked a few times as she let the question sink in. Suddenly, an idea rose on her mind.

 " You can get those from the supermarkets in this city, but also from the guy who sent me this delivery. His family has a grocery store. Why not ask him, too?"

“…..Huh?” It could not be said that Maho was anything akin to a morning person. If she was able to have her way she would have likely slept till well afternoon if she could have, a bad habit if nothing else.  So to be awoken by Kurisu so early in the morning was enough to leave her a somewhat dazed mess, that much would have been clear from the fact that she was standing in her rooms doorway still in her pajamas and looking as if she was ready to fall asleep where she was standing. She even failed to catch what the other woman had said only moments ago due to how tired she was feeling at the moment.

In the beginning, her eyes grow wide as she stares at Maho in disbelief. A blink follows her amazement as Kurisu ponders over their current situation. " Senpai, have you slept in? " It wasn't a guess, the words were neither filled with curiousity, nor with doubt. She was certain of it and her tone proved that. " The meeting regarding Amadeus' first introduction has already ended. I hoped to see you there as well... However, you don’t need to worry, I took care of it and it went well! " Kurisu winked at her friend as a smile lifted the corners of her mouth.
