You know what, I don’t think Aziraphale did know Crowley meant him when he said, “I lost my best friend.” Hence the sad, confused little “I’m sorry to hear that,” and then moving on immediately to strategy. Because he doesn’t think he deserves to ask who that was, and he already knows it’s not him. He had said horrible things to Crowley the last time they’d talked—had denied he liked him, had refused to choose him, and had made himself cry when he said it was over, because he thought it really was. He didn’t think he’d get another chance with Crowley if he chose heaven over him, but he thought doing that was his duty. Still he didn’t expect to be forgiven, since it felt so wrong even to himself, which is why (I think) he looked so shocked when Crowley asked him back to his place, after everything. It’s obvious he wants to—his look goes from stunned to wistful in a second—but he says immediately that heaven won’t like it. We know he doesn’t trust them any more, he called them bad angels and said he wasn’t a good one—he left them. But I think he left them to go down fighting. I think there was a good chance he hadn’t thought past I have to do something and when the world didn’t end he had no idea what to do next. He thinks he’s already hurt Crowley too badly to get his trust back; he rejected him, twice, when Crowley had just laid his heart out, and he wouldn’t forgive himself for that. He thinks heaven is all he has left and he has to try not to alienate them any more, even if that’s a doomed effort too. He might think Crowley is just being kind by offering him a night’s shelter—that he doesn’t mean anything by it. Or he might be testing to see if Crowley means it—if Crowley would still face down heaven’s wrath for him, after everything, the way he faced Satan himself when Az asked him to. Which is why it’s so important that to Aziraphale’s “My side wouldn’t like that,” Crowley says immediately, “We don’t have sides any more.” He’s echoing what he said at that bandstand. He’s telling Aziraphale that he’s forgiven him; as far as he’s concerned, they can still be on their own side. He’s letting him know that the offer to run away with him—even just to run away home—still stands.

I really want a movie where there’s this Dark Brooding Male Hero who’s like, a total badass, and during all the fight scenes he keeps getting flashbacks to happy images of his wife, and like his whole narrative is framed around his wife, and all the other heroes on his team know that he’s got this passion and vengeance and think it all has to do with his dead wife… but then near the end of the movie his wife shows up and he’s like “hey babe” they’re all shocked and they’re like, “Wait I thought all your power and passion came from avenging your dead wife?” and he’s like “no bro, I just really love my wife, she’s really cool, she’s what keeps me going” like… a reverse fridge

About the s8 leaks

So after watching season 8, I wanted to see the “leaks” again today (you know, just to remember a time when I laughed at people who “thought that bs could possibly be canon”. hah.) and noticed a few things on Shiro’s wedding pics I think are worth mentioning.

I don’t know if it’s been done before, but here goes. (sorry if It gets too long)

Okay this is the whole picture:

Besides the obvious change in Shiro’s husband (thank god for that), I noticed that the guy next to Chip looks kinda familiar.

Here’s a close up. (the quality sucks, I know, but bear with me)

Do you see what I see? It’s Shiro’s canon husband.

IT’S FUCKING CURTIS.

They’ve traded that ugly ass guy for a wedding guest.

I don’t know how to feel about that, just thought it’d be worth pointing out. Maybe that’s the reason we got a smaller picure in the canon scene, so It wouldn’t show husband Curtis and background Curtis at the same time. I don’t know.

Anyways, moving on to the next point.

In the far right corner we got none other than Veronica, our badass big sister, wearing not a dress, but a TUXEDO (I think. I don’t really get the difference between suits and tuxes):

Dude. Why couldn’t they have given us the whole thing? We got only half of her body and she looks ready to still yo girl!

I know Pidge’s wearing one too, but we already knew she’d rock one of those, right? She’s cool like that.

So what I’m saying is: Veronica owns my ass and this is a NO DRESS, TUX ONLY wedding and I love it.

And now to my final and favorite point.

Ya boy Lance grew a mullet.

HE GREW A FUCKING MULLET.

If you guys don’t think he and Keith got together eventually after this I don’t know what else to tell you.

I am a Lance stan and I hated the fact that he looked hurt and still hung up on Allura’s death in the future, so this tiny detail tells me he has healed and was able to move on. The way I see it, he and Keith getting together would be the natural course of things in the future.

I’m not discussing ships here but klance has been my thing since before I even got into the show, so I’m sorry but I had to vent a little. It’s okay if you disagree with me.

Anyways, our new mullet-man! This is so cute! My ship lives!
