Kyle opened his mouth to reason with Wally but instead of words, a squeak-like sound came out once he felt the other cuddling against him once more. His eyes darting everywhere but the clingy speedster. "Mm.. sorry about that, I just.. got a little embarrassed when you started nuzzling against my neck. My skin isn’t.. as soft as Roy’s, I think, so it mustn’t have been comfortable!" He tried to excuse himself for his odd behaviour but honestly? It sounded like bull-shit.

It had taken a day or two since Kyle fount out Wally had received a black lantern ring, having to focus on completing with whatever he was doing before making his way to Wally’s place. But not without a pit stop at the grocery store to get some strawberry chocolate bars for his friend. He’d knock a couple times on the door, stepping back as he swayed from side to side.

*Wally was in the middle of practicing his guitar when he heard the knock on his door. He put it aside and then quickly got to the door with his superspeed, opening it. He smiled when he saw Kyle and stepped to the side to let him in.* "Hey Kyle! It's great that you made it!"

Kyle’s eyes widened, he didn’t predict Wally would be able to tease him back. Well- He did, technically, but he didn’t think it’d be this soon which was probably why his cheeks were blushing crimson at it. "N.. No, I’m not." Kyle Rayner’s confident demeanour vanishing with just one compliment from Wally West. Choosing to not make any sort of reply to the lap comment.. instead, he settled for wrapping his arms around the other’s waist to help support him.

*Upon having gotten an okay from his partners and Kyle saying to come find him at his apartment, Wally used his speed to get there after changing into some nice looking black clothes that he had. His heart was beating even faster then usual as he knocked.* @wally-is-fast

Kyle got up, lounging in just his casual wear, and made his way towards the door- Only to reveal Wally standing there. Looking all dashing and handsome in the clothes he obviously changed into, though he didn't make any sort-of remark.. not when he could feel his heart beating slightly. ".. Hi. "Hm? Oh- No.. no, why?" Kyle asked, stuttering a little as he did. Quickly taking a sip of water before placing the glass down onto the table, shifting himself slightly so he was closer to Wally.. but not as close as he’d like to be.

Kyle was unable to keep the smile off his face as he’d continue kissing Wally’s arm. "You’re really cute, y’know?" He’d mumble into the other’s ear, before stopping. Rocking the two before falling onto the couch, letting his back rest against the cushions while he let Wally sit on his lap.

He let out a deep sigh before making his way back into the living area, plopping himself down on the couch but a little further away from the other. "Hi, there."
