Nakagawa Mokkougei is a workshop of Kioke.

Kioke was called Zakki before, and “Tarugen” is well-established Oke (bucket) and Taru (barrel) workshop in Kyoto which has made Kioke with great care.

Founder Kameichi started his independent workshop in Shirakawa-dori, Kyoto 40 years after he worked at “Tarugen”.

What is Suikinkutsu?

Suikinkutsu is one of the decoration of Japanese garden, dropping the water drops in the cave which was made in the ground near the washbasin, and echoes the sound of the water drops.  This sound is marvelous.

Gofun nail, which were made from chalk, used for Japanese paintings is very popular today!

There is no smell of manicure, and because it is water solubility nail, there are some advantages such as easily air through, fast-dry and light.
