Haiiaiaiiaa I am a texas fanatic, and I have hc's for Tex's parent stuffs!

I. It is often debated if Tex's dad was MX or USA, he looks just like MX in his human form but very similar to USA normally (they also act similar too)

II. Tex's mom, the Caddo, died when Tex was ab to turn 5 – MX was drunk and especially mad bc being a new country isn't easy; most importantly when ppl aren't following your new constitution! So, MX killed Caddo. Tejas (past Tex) cuddled with his mom since he didn't know she was dead.

III. Texas REALLY despises MX; like for one: Are you trying to repopulate the earth? Two: STOP NEGLETCING UR KIDS!!!! The only thing he agrees with him on is anti-slavery things. Otherwise, they'll be throwing hands. (Texas doesn't support slavery bc he learnt from his older siblings [the other major Caddoan confederacies of Kadohadacho, Hasinai, and Natchitoches] what it was like to be in missions plus his childhood bestie [later FIANCÉ?!?!? 👀] was a slave [he bought her freedom].)

IV. Tex's very distant with USA because of his work, which only grew heavier as time progressed. It is a literal miracle for USA to be outside of his office. I ship R.E × USA (fun fact: r.e died because his heart and lungs dissolved after he was forced to drink molten gold [it was a public execution after the Romanov massacre and the stomach acid dissolved them organs..]) and R.E is actively dragging USA out of his office trust me

VI. Tex is a 'mother' (those little shits spawned) to the major Texan cities minus San Antonio bc Texas was born in 1821 (other little shits consist of cities like Ft. Worth, Corpus Christi, Galveston, etc).... AND THEY ARE TALL. AUSTIN IS THE TALLEST OF THEM AND HE'S AT TEX'S WAIST (for reference, Texas is 14'6"). WHAT ARE YOU FEEDING THEM TEXAS. ANSWER ME1!1!1

VII. Austin in my AU is a ship child of Tex and his fiancé.

VIII. Texas is a relatively good 'mom', he doesn't want to repeat what his father did.

IX. Tex raised the Ex-Mex (younger than Tex in my AU bc i want eldest sibling Texga- I MEAN TEXAS..). Tex also developed pica because MX barely gave them enough food and Tex gave his food to his siblings so they'd survive better.. and Texas needed to eat but didn't have any food - so he did a silly and ate paper. He still eats paper when he feels somewhat hungry and he doesn't feel like making food.

Tex also barely got medical care from anyone but himself because if he did, then the problems in the family would be revealed and tarnish MX's reputation. So, that didn't happen.

X. Tex nearly killed MX in his revolution: my Texas got the ability to waterbend like Avatar from experimentation... AND also the ability to bloodbend. In the Alamo, after MX did another silly and ripped out his eye + forced his son to watch his men and eye burn, MX went to get Tex back home. Texas already exhausted his other forms of fighting back, and he was panicked... so because I knewhis mind decided to do a very silly thing: which was make MX's stomach kaboom. That's also the reason why MX has no stomach!!

I also think Tex is best a kid of these two because it was American people that made it in land that belonged to Mexico, so Texas being their kid makes the most sense to me.

Mayhaps. Both America and Mexico are cis in my headcanon so Texas can’t be a bio of both. But he certainly could have been an Earthborn they both adopted hmmm

Austin shows up physically to a meeting this time. Texas said he can go if he doesn't wear the emo stuff (as much as it hurt for him to tell Austin that, and Austin's puppy eyes made it harder) but its because he would hate for Austin to come home crying because the south called him names. So Austin is wearing a red button up flannel top with a UT Austin shirt under, jeans, brown dress shoes and a tan ranchers hat. His brown hair was neat and he wore the cross necklace that Tennessee gave him when he turned 20 years old. Everyone is shocked (Not Tennessee) since Austin has never shown his actual face before, and tjats because Austin hates how much he looks but his dad says he needs to take pride in his looks (Whats with that man and pride?) and love himself.

The cities I have hc’s for are mainly the big ones, like El Paso (He/Him), San Antonio (He/Him), Fort Worth (He/Him), Dallas (He/They), Houston (He/Him), Austin (He/They/It, FTM), and Corpus Christi (She/Her, MTF), BUT (hehe butt—), I also have stuff for Nacogdoches (They/Them, AFAB)!!

Nacogdoches is the oldest, and Austin is the youngest! Dallas and Houston are twins cuz they give that vibe for some reason. Corpus Christi is the third oldest, and San Antonio is the second oldest.

When Austin was starting to transition, he was TERRIFIED of telling Texas. Little did he know, Texas is also trans and gave him tips on how to safely transition and was very comforting. Austin ended up crying into his dad’s shoulder for several hours. No Texas did not cry with him. Definitely.

Texas was also plenty supportive when Christi transitioned! He didn’t know much about transitioning from male to female, but he was there to make sure that Christi did so safely.

^if anyone in his government said anything transphobic, they would be silenced very quickly.

San Antonio tries SO HARD to be exactly like Texas. Except he sometimes forgets that Texas isn’t gruff tough and scary 24/7. Also he’s short. So what you have there is an angry chihuahua.

^He’s the shortest of his siblings (5’4). Which is confusing seeing as Texas is 6’5.

Christi is one badass scary woman. All her siblings fear her just a lil bit. So does Texas.

Like Texas, both Austin and San Antonio have bat features! (Ears, tail, and wings)

^Both cities have REALLY large bat populations/colonies, and I’m pretty sure that San Antonio has the largest bat colony in the world! (15,000,000+ bats!)

Austin LOVES animals, just like his dad (fun fact! the largest no-kill animal shelter in the country is located in Austin!)

Nacogdoches was a young native personification when they were found

^Texas was patrolling with a few soldiers, and they found young Nacogdoches hiding. They were going to just kill them, since they obviously weren’t human and it wasn’t clear what they were.

^But Texas interfered and took the child as his own, despite also being really young. He did get punished for doing so, but that doesn’t matter. That is his baby and no one shall harm a single hair on their head lest they want to die.

Anyways. Corpus Christi is the tallest of her siblings, being around 6’4 (since tall women,,,) El Paso is a very close second, being around 6’2.

^SOMEONE (*cough* Houston *cough cough*) complains that he should be the tallest, seeing as he’s the biggest city. (bro Houston is still tall, he’s like- 5’11 😭)

Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas, and Nacogdoches are all 6ft.

There are a ton of comments at the statehouse about how Texas’s kids are all giants (except for San Antonio’s 5’4 angry chihuahua lookin’ ass 💀)

No matter their ages or heights, Texas still holds their hands when crossing the street. ("Mama please I’m 30 years old-" "Shut the fuck up 🥰")
