Coinpin is so good, not despite their incompatibilites, but because they ARE so different and they're allowed to fight and be obnoxious to each other (and to the viewers!) and make mistakes, big and small. And even though they don't fit together perfectly. they make it work because - while they are both two self-centered characters and that won't ever change, they care more about each other than their own self-centeredness, and always make room for each other

In my head Coiny and pin only got together during the time spent between late BFDIA and the beginning of IDFB because both of them are so afraid of rejection, especially Pin. In Coiny’s mind he wouldn’t mind if he confessed to pin and got rejected because he knows she’d opt to stay friends instead of just ending their friendship right there, but he’d never be able to live with himself for how he’ll always be so close to being her partner -with the things they do such as hand holding, physical affection, etc- but never quite reach that point of being her lover and I think this similar mindset is one pin has as-well.

Does this make sense?? I don’t know how to word these things correctly and I’m definitely not fully awake right now but they’re 100% crazy for each other…trust me guys…trust.
