hate when people shit on fansubs because they saw one with "keikaku means plan" in it 20 years ago. for every one like that there's a dozen that have more heart, passion, and love for the work than any corporate subs could ever have. the crime fansubs committed in the eyes of these people is being too passionate, being too invested, being too "cringe". look at symphogear, the official subs throw the songs on screen in the same font as the dialogue. there are fansubs that change the color of the lyric font to match the character singing. the revue starlight subs don't even translate the songs! but the fansub I have colorcodes the harmonies!
