Thinking about it, i believe 2018-2021 was the prime of peppa pig as a franchise.

Before the pandemic started peppa was just generally a meme icon and there was the whole new album thing so there was lots of discussion and shitposts, also tons of parodies and ytps being made of the show, it was really cool, then after lockdown started peppa pig became like. THE icon ??? Or moreso the frog, it was EVERYONES pfp, but content of peppa herself was also super popular. "Peppa what are you doing in my _", "i edited a peppa pig episode", and the hundreds of peppa vsco edits. Etc etc

Also from what ive personally experienced, i was part of a huge peppa pig twitter parody account group 2019-2020, THAT was cool as hell i miss them. I remember we had the official mcdonalds account in our gc for some reason

What's the difference bewteen Peppa Tales and actual Peppa Pig? I thought they were the same thing

entirely different studio behind it. the writing, animation, and voices are all different, each episode is also 2 minutes shorter in tales, being 3 minutes instead of peppa's usual 5. not sure if this will be a difference in the future considering what hasbro seems to be doing to the main show but tales is much more modernized and has tons of technology and really random stuff idk

Continuing that one peppa animation post, ive also noticed peppa tales characters open their mouths constantly whenever not talking. like theyre always :o :D when idle and it looks a bit silly. In peppa pig they always have their mouths shut when not talking, unless its to go "ooooh" outloud at something
