so when tuna are caught on fishing vessels it is imperative for the preservation of meat quality that they are killed immediately and with as little stress as possible. when under stress tuna will continue trying to swim forward regardless of the presence of water. this is an automatic response of the nervous system attempting to induce the flow of water through the fishes gills; restarting the uptake of oxygen. while this response is the result of evolution and can save the fishes life in its natural environment, outside of seawater this only causes the meat of the tuna to be flooded in stress hormones whilst undergoing a rapid increase in temperature due to the excursion placed on the muscles. if this is allowed to continue unchecked the quality of the meat will rapidly deteriorate as the fish effectively cooks itself from the inside out.

in short: don't worry, you'll be given a quick death.

We are truly, truly glad to be reinstated. That said. We feel we must voice a comment.

Being banned was devastating. As i am sure it was for many others.

But what we saw, then, was a wave of kind, loving, and rightfully upset messages. To us, and spread on posts by every name we knew. It was truly a great warmth for our heart.
