This break has allowed me to breathe, its gotten me to think about what I want from life and I'm done being the short straw, the back up plan and the second choice. I'm not going to settle for being someone's one night of fun when I deserve to be the end goal. 2017 is going to be my year, got a lot of incredible opportunities coming up and nothing's going to stand in my way.

My father was Muslim and my mom is Christian, and we moved from New Orleans to Oakland, so I always had this appreciation for different cultures. Between those dichotomies and with eight people living in the house together, there was always drama. But it was enjoyable drama

people were confused by me, and at first I was auditioning a lot for the crazy characters or the victim, someone who’d been attacked. which is great, because usually those are the best acting roles.
