So my mum was going to an event for the assistance dog charity we help out with, and she decided to bring me along with our old dog to show what it’s like for a retired assistance dog. And while I was saying his name to get him to move, I just heard this guy going ‘that’s my dog!’

And it turned out that he’d actually been sponsoring him for years, and it was the first time he’d actually got to see him in person
