Everytime I get sick which happens quite a bit there is a part of me that hopes that maybe this one will kill me. Then when I start to get better I have this disappointment that is hard to explain to anyone without sounding like an overly dramatic bitch.

And this is a wrap! i have officially completed call 44 Pokemon Art Academy lesson drawings! for this final post i decided to put together my graduation test (pikachu) and the bonus lessons of mega evaluations. all in all i got to say i really loved this game was it perfect no but i imagine any Pokemon and beginning artist would adore this game .

so we are on our last mini lesson before we get to the graduation test. only a bad artist blames her tools and guess what im a bad artist! so the problem i am running into is that the sketches you are meant to kind of follow are becoming so complex that with the small little ds window its hard to tell whats goign on so im left to kind of just fully spitball the design which would be ok if it wasn't also trying to show me advance things to do. honestly the biggest issue with the game is that its skill level jumps very quickly all together there is 44 pokemon to draw and with that small amount it ups the difficulty a little too fast for a noob like me. so it leaves me more confused then helped. but the show must go on !

the second out of the 3 gradate courses its a little weird they are down to doing two instead of 3 but these are taking longer to do so i guess i shouldn't be looking a gift horse in the mouth.

so the graduate courses are upon me and they have even taken away my basic shapes its really a sing or swim moment and im proficient at the doggie paddle. i was hopping to do my trans colored eeveelution better but it still readable as sylveon so who am i to complain.

The apprentice finale is here and like last time its only one picture of pikachu so this time instead of anther pokemon i decided to hell with it and drew my two favorite straw hats. i mean whats is even the point of learning to draw better at age 27 if not to fulfill your teenage girl dreams of drawing your favorite anime boys? i quickly photoshoped them on cards to keep up the vibe of the other ones. could i have spent more time to make the cards look better? totally but like why would i?

Its the Final Apprentice course this one is all about paint brush! got to say i didnt think i would enjoy it but i had a lot of fun with the paint brush and the further away from colored pencil the better.

in in this mini lesson we had to use colors pencils and boy oh boy have i not hated something this much in a while. we where meant to be learning different ways to hatch but all i learned was that i deeply in the core of my soul hate drawing with a colors pencils. it really just highlights all of my flaws in such a glaring way. maybe in the future ill come back and try my hand at a colors pencils drawing and feel pleased but as it stands this is somehow the worse one i have done yet.

Apprentice courses are finally here and boy oh boy have they been kicking my ass so far ! first mini lesson was shading and i would say i nailed one out of the 3 so like batting average so far isn't great . so buckle up because tomorrows is gonna be interesting

We Have finally made it folks its the Novice finale! Sadly the final is only one drawing aka pikachu but it felt weird to just make a post with one photo so i decided to also draw piplup and froakie. that is why they have obvious been like quickly photoshoped. another issued i rain into is in free draw mode they had Froakie so i was about to follow the same type of way i did with pikachu aka the basic shapes and then draw it from there but piplup didnt have one so i had to draw piplup completely from scrach and even though its hella janky im really proud how it turned out.

we are at the final novice course and disaster has struck ! The art game is making me start to do some more art and less tracing what a terrible turn of events! so yeah im no longer just tracing but starting from basic shapes and making the pokemans so if you wondering why bulbasaur looks like the kid at the sleepover you cant trust that is why

Realized i could emulate games at work today so decided to give Pokemon art academy a go ! i have never really practiced art . i never really even finished school art projects on the count of being sick . All that to say be prepart for some weird looking art! =] ill be grouping them up in the little ways the game does . so first up is the starter drawing
