zuko and katara’s narrative symmetry drives me insane every time i think about it, actually. you rise with the moon, i rise with the sun; her power waning as his grows, and vice versa. zuko becoming disillusioned with the fire nation as katara learns the truth about the evil that exists within the other nations. how they both orbit around the avatar, the emblem of all their hopes; katara pulling aang forward to his destiny while zuko pursues on the other end, driving him onwards. the way their parallel lines intersect at the end of every season before diverging once more, each one only able to rise when the other falls. circling one another, so close yet so far, until they finally come together in the agni kai, two halves becoming whole at the crux of their individual arcs and their journey together — balance forged in sacrifice, an eternal push and pull finally brought to stillness. and all of this beautifully personifying the show’s most fundamental themes in the process. how the fuck were they not canon.

The Rescue Hound met up for a Valentines Themed Walk ❤️ Spreading love and licks everywhere they go, showing off just how GREYT Greyhounds are as Pets! What’s not to love about Greyhounds? 💕

Big Dog, Small Space Requirements; Greyhounds restful nature makes them fabulous apartment pets!

Wonderful wardrobe; Due to their delicate skin and low body fat, Greyhounds feel the cold, so dressing them in all manner of colourful coats and cosy pjs is necessary and vibrant!

Foodie Furiends; Greys are known for their foodie nature, enjoying human goodies like puppaccinos, toast, snossidges and more, No fussy hounds here!

Wacky weirdos; Greyhounds are full of quirks, from roaching to docking, roping to chittering, the breed really does have something special about it!

I made a baby blanket for a pregnant woman at work and I went back and forth about it like “is this weird? To like hand make something for someone when we’re like friendly acquaintances not like bffs. God why are you so fucking awkward.” Anyway I gave it to her and she said she loved it and in the back of my head I’m like yea she’s nice and probably just humoring the weirdo. Well she texted me a picture this weekend of a scrunchy faced newborn at the hospital wrapped in the blanket I made her. And I’m like. Wow. She loved it so much she took it with her! To the hospital! To give birth! She wrapped her newborn it! I am just so filled with love and joy right now.

People will love the things you make them. Because you thought of them and you cared.
