Not much is know about Sparklite except that, boy does it look lovely! No wonder, as it has Anders ‘Itchabop’ Gullmarsvik a.k.a. @spikysideup on pixel art. Yes, that’s the same Itchabop as the one with the most favorited Pixel Dailies submission of 2016.
Red Blue Games calls Sparklite “an inventive roguelike adventure”. I had the privilege to talk with Anders and the game’s designer/studio founder Lucas Rowe, but couldn’t really find out too much more about the gadget-building mechanic of the game that makes it less like Zelda and more like steam-punk-fantasy-invention-magic that is Arcanum. OK, fine, nobody knows that game but me and the 5 other hardcore Fallout 1&2 fans on this blog. We’ll just have to wait and see what unique soup gets cooked out of these particular pixels.

Are you just doing ur art for fun as hobbyist or you have job @art scene?
I just do it because it’s fun. I didn’t apply to any art colleges back in December, and I doubt I’m gonna be a professional artist in the future (though I might do commissions). But hey, anything can happen.
