straw hats playing neopets headcanons

I made a one slide presentation on what each Straw Hats' favorite Neopet would be. I wrote out a whole thing to explain my choices and I just wanna post it here to preserve it haha

Luffy - Custard Blumaroo - Luffy likes Blumaroos because they look funny and bounce on their tails. He picked the Custard color because it looks yummy. He does a bit of everything on the site, but he especially likes playing flash games.

Zoro - Darigan Lupe - Zoro picked the Darigan Lupe because he thinks it looks cool and intimidating. He exclusively plays the Battledome and no other content on the site. The Neopets map confuses him and he always needs to be reminded which island the Training School is on. He owes Nami a lot of money for Codestones and Battledome weapons.

Nami - Desert Krawk - Nami has amassed millions of Neopoints from restocking and scamming kids on the forums. She picked a Krawk because it is a flex pet (Krawk eggs are expensive). She painted it Desert because that reminds her of Vivi.

Usopp - Steampunk Lenny - Usopp likes Lennys because they are cunning and use their intellect to fight, and he is the only Straw Hat to choose his pet based on the lore description rather than appearance. He seems like the type that would think Steampunk is cool to me. He really enjoys exploring Neopia and playing flash games with Luffy.

Sanji - Royal Kougra - Sanji doesn't really care about Neopets but LOVES faeries (for totally heterosexual reasons). He does Jhudora and Illusen quests religiously no matter how expensive the stuff they're asking for is. He picked a Royal pet because he's Mr. Prince and has a white knight complex. I think he would like Kougras, but also I picked Kougra so he could have a cats vs dogs thing going on with Zoro.

Chopper - Candy Tonu - Chopper got really excited when he learned there was a cotton candy-themed Neopet. He is an item collector and he has a huge Gallery filled with candy items. He has weirdly good luck with random events, too.

Robin - Mutant Kau - Robin insists that the Mutant Kau is the cutest thing ever, much to the horror of everyone else. She is rank #1 for most unique books read to her pets (yes there is a leaderboard on the site for this). She really enjoys learning Neopets lore and reading old plots.

Franky - Robot Grarrl - Franky likes all the Robot pets. He's currently trying to zap all of his pets Robot and the first one that got zapped that was his Grarrl, so it has a special place in his heart. He goes really hard on Neohome decorating and hasn't missed a Lab Ray zap in years.

Brook - Transparent Quiggle - Brook doesn't really play because he doesn't really understand computers, but he really likes the Transparent colors because [insert skull joke here] yohohoho!

Jinbe - Maraquan Skeith - Like Brook, Jinbe doesn't really get Neopets, but someone told him he kinda looks like a Maraquan Skeith and he liked that so he picked it as his favorite.

I'm a huge sucker for tarot, so in honor of my Curse of Strahd campaign ending after 4 years, I made tarot-inspired cards for all of the PCs!!

Here’s my entry for the fanfest fanart contest! I wasn’t expecting to get in so I wasn’t surprised that I didn’t, but I did have a lot of fun making it! Sana loves the Namazu so much. :’)

Finally, managed to draw something today. Realized I wanted to draw Sana more, so I drew her wearing the new Casual top. Took me what felt like forever to get it, but I absolutely love how it looks on her. Felt like doing Persona-inspired shading, so that was fun to do.

First drawing of 2021 was a vent piece of me trying to like.. capture my feelings? I haven’t played Tyrim in over a year since that campaign fizzled out, but he like kinda represents my feelings towards the relationship I ended in December.

Finally some Jojo sketches to end out 2020. I rewatched Jojo with my (then) boyfriend, and it made me remember how much I love Josuyasu. I also read Jojolion and I honestly really love the wierdass character designs so far in that part.
