An uncharacteristic Mid-Feb ride in Jefferson County, NY! I threw on some MTB fenders front and back, a bunch of lights, quick-waxed the frame for dirty/salty mud repelling and steeled myself for the ride. Forgot to post this last week - friendly #Cormorant at Little Sandy Creek/Lakeview. Let me get rediculously close to it and then later while I was paddling back flew directly over me and landed in front and swam around until it found a fish, and then left. Top of Wescotts Plateau Hill. 40+ mile ride, ride to Sackets for crack at Ontario Street Sprint Strava segment and a little hill training going up Wescott Plateau Hill, my third best time despite legs in lactate threshold burn from the rest of the ride and sprint.
