Is there a 2nd batch of books that hasn't been sent yet? I'm just a bit confused, because I haven't got an email with the tracking number yet.
Yes! I already shipped them all out, but I need to go and update all the tracking information still. Apologies I am a slow shipper. D:

Is it too late to order a copy? I didn't realize you were doing another print run until a couple of minutes ago. D':
Not too late!

So, I'm a litte behind the times lol, is "A Snapping Sound" a fic still or did you make it original and publish? I'm very curious and would love to read it whenever i'm caught up on bills, if it's available for order online, or is it just printed in small batches via self-publishing?
I'm working on getting it published as an original piece, but its been slow going. :) In the meantime, I'm doing another print run for a limited time of the Danny Phantom version.

Hi! Just a quick question: are you sending emails with tracking numbers once the books are shipped? ( I've been having some issues with my local post office lately ; they're really not paying attention to the whole address & have been putting our mail in other people's boxes & vise versa )
Yes— you will receive an email confirmation of it being shipped and that should include tracking information.

Hi!! I have to start saying I LOVED a snapping sound. It was amazing and because of you I had to go to work with 2 hours of sleep. That being said I have 2 questions: First, I didn't get exactly the thing about the screwdriver... "Danielle" didn't like it so it was "her" relic, but maybe I'm stupid but I don't see the reason why the screwdriver is "her" relic. And question 2: Saw you printed the book/fic and i want one! Where do I sign? :D
[SPOILER FOR A SNAPPING SOUND BELOW] I never gave a reason in the book. I had a huge backstory for Vlad which would explain exactly why, but it got cut. I didn't want to focus on him all that much beyond him being a terrible person. But it was a Masters’ family heirloom.

I saw another anon ask about another printing of A Snapping Sound and I would like to throw my (metaphorical) hat in the "would be interested in purchasing a copy (or two) of it if you did a reprinting" ring. Even if you don't, thank you for writing it! It's absolutely amazing and I love reading it over and over again
snappingsound.com ^ Go order one! I'm doing a limited second edition run of them.

Did Danny know he was a ghost immediately after dying or how did that go? I love your writing sm
No he did not. It took him a while to figure it out. But this isn't something that I overtly explored in the fic. I think if I could go back I would spend a bit more time on what it's like becoming a ghost, and the difference between a 'new' ghost and an 'old' ghost. I headcannon that younger ghosts are more feral than older ones and that time tempers them and allows them to re-develop more human depth and intricacy. This is why Mikey and Evelyn Gray are portrayed as a bit more erratic and one-dimensional, while Vlad and Danny feel more substantial.

I have two questions about A Snapping Sound. The first one is where exactly is Vlad from? The second is were you at all inspired by the Cleveland Torso Murders of 1935-1938 for the story?
He's was born in the Ukraine, but was displaced during World War II. Somewhere along the line he met Jack Fenton. And I hadn't heard of those murders but best believe I am now digging very deep into them. =D For Vlad specifically, I was inspired by surgical misconduct documentaries, combined with testimony of US POW's during the war in Iraq. Great questions!

Your art is beautiful. Could I use a piece as my blog header or will I get in trouble for it?
Yes you may. :) Just please put a credit and link to me in your bio somewhere. Thank you for asking.

If anyone is wondering, I am still working hard to get A Snapping Sound published “for real”. I’ve been rejected a bunch but that’s ok! It just has to hit the right agent at the right time.

Thank you to everyone that ordered a copy
I ordered a huge batch from my printer. They say there may be a delay due to COVID, so I expect to receive them in about 2 weeks. I’ll send them out ASAP after that! ❤️
