How to Change LED Headlight Bulbs on 2016 Dodge Ram 1500

Today we are going to do an installation with led headlight bulbs on a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 and what we're going to do is to take step-by-step of how to install and also show the difference between the original stock and the aftermarket.

We're going to install in the low beam and high beam. Below they are the tools you may use.

- H11 led bulbs conversion kit

- 10-millimeter socket

- an extension

- a ratchet

First, removing the upper shrouds, that's on top of this truck this plastic shroud essentially goes all the way extends from the right to the left side. We need to remove it to actually remove the front grille. Once remove the front grille, it will be able to access the headlight.

All right, we go ahead, I choose my tool from our shrimp kit and we start popping out these little tabs. The tool allows you to just go ahead and slip underneath there, and then all you have to do then is just go ahead and pop it out.

See, we have removed the upper shrouds.

Next what we gonna do is to remove the four top bolts on the grill. There is one thing that we need to pay attention is there is a clip that will pop out.

You have to give it a little jerk essentially to get it to pop out. We'll do it on both sides and we'll move the grill.

The grill is removed, remove the uninstall bolts in the headlight. It's pretty simple, also ten millimeters and then we'll go to the back and remove both screws, we have to remove the last screw which is on the back from the wheel well.

Getting access to this flat and this flap is held on by one of those clip on these plastic pieces, I'll use my trim kit essential to remove. Once we remove that we'll have access to another lever inside, they'll give me the final thing that I need to do basically to remove the head.

After that, you'll be able to move the front headlight. On the back of the headlight, you need to disconnect the blinker or DRL essentially, you have to flip up a small red tab out press down.

Then we insert the H11 led bulb in, my led headlight has the copper braid, i have to just bend them inside. The LED driver you can also push that inside. Connect the original plug to the aftermarket one and it should plug right in. Install the dust cap on, and the installation for the low beam is completed.

We turn on the headlight and let’s check the performance of the led bulb. The left headlight is the LED conversion obviously that's clear and then the right one is the halogen. The left headlight pretty much almost takes over three-quarters of the right one. Everything from here on looks like is all LED, and that gives you a perspective of how much brighter the LED conversion kit is. On this Dodge Ram, we've had absolutely no issues with any kind of required, any kind of resistors and capacitors. It was a perfect easy installation with no error codes.

I installed led lights on 80 Noah. Since it is almost the same size as the normal T15 halogen bulb (a little slim), there is no problem in terms of size at all, it was loose when inserted in the socket.

They are very bright and pure white light, illuminating a wider light beam. Attached is a view of my rear view camera with stock lights and these led lights. All I'd like to say is that these are really going to allow you to safely be seen by pedestrians at a parking area; for example: just in case they don't know you intend to back up and if you don't notice them continue to pass by one side from the front of your car while you are busy trying to back up. That's a hypothetical scenario that could happen and it would be hard for someone to make an excuse because these lights should help the driver not be easily liable for an accident.

Installed these rock light on a Wrangler, Take the time to lay them out so all the wires will reach the module before installing and test do not hook up the power until the lights are plugged in! Great product, lights are great super bright, colors could be switched by phone app. The system does respond nicely when changing colors. Cool lights. Hopefully they update the app and give more options especially would be nice to see colors change when listening to music. Hope they hold up well. Product from LedoAuto.com.

2007 Honda Accord SE Install Popular G7 Mini LED Headlight Bulbs

Recently, this LED headlight looks popular around the world. I can find it on the top rank of Canada Amazon, Japan Amazon and German Amazon, So I decider to try this on my Honda Acoord and see if this led replacement headlight bulbs is really good like the poster.

The LEDs look beautiful and the build quality feels very premium, I like how you can use a hex screwdriver to twist the actual Bulb section to adjust your beam spread but luckily with my "correct" lock in position the spread was fine. I have reflector housings instead of projector lamps but I haven't been high beamed or signaled by anyone, as the beam spread seems to be quite good for my car.

This would have a higher score if not for a pretty big issue with the fitting. I confirmed that this is the correct bulb size(9006) for my 2007 Honda Accord SE, but the fitment ring hardly fits as it is incredibly loose to the point that they can possibly move while driving altering the beam spread. I haven't had the misfortune of the bulb completely falling out of the housing but it's loose to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if it did. When compared them to my Sylverstars ZXE Halogens, the ring's 3 tabs seem to be too short(about half the length) allowing the LED bulb to just barely stay on. At the moment I've been jury rigging a solution with some electrical tape off only one side of the heatsink to keep the bulbs in place but it's not an elegant nor great solution. I'm not sure if this is the case for all cars but I'm definitely not the only person afflicted so hope for the best with your model.

2014 Honda Accord Install Directly Fit Turn Signal Light Bulbs

Automotive LED light bulbs are high intensity and attractive, but they will has hyper flash problem if used on automotive turn signal light. I have been constantly searching for a set of yellow led lights that did not activate the hyper flash without having to place a resistor.

These 2835 SMD LED bulbs are very nice. They looks not special. While I put these in my 2014 Honda Accord for the rear turn signal light, they work great without error on OBC and are so bright. They fit nice and secure to the factory connector and fit perfect in the housing. Matches the existing yellow  LED's that are there for the brake lights and the normal rear red lights for nighttime visual. I would recommend these lights as they are really convenient on installation. Besides, they are 6W per bulb only while the stock halogen bulbs are 21W, I think this one really can save power for me.

These 3D design 194 LED bulbs use Osram LED chip with PC cover on it, lighting is bright but soft, it isn’t like other T10 bulbs which have LED on surface directly, that lighting is glaring and eye can’t look directly. I installed these on my 2012 Volkswagen Passat- what a major upgrade! Looks amazing, the bulb is rated at 6000K, color is very white and crisp. Dodge Journey Headlight bulbs Modified

Friend introduce me a store to replace my headlight bulbs. The managers named Jeff, a guy from South. Good job to him. Share the replacement process.

Headlight is cold glue and not easy to be moved off. The worker suggest me to use oven, but I think it will hurt the headlight lampshade too. So I don’t want to use oven. That it will take more time and cost more.

New LED Headlight Bulbs On Opel

We tried to preview the matrix LED headlights on future models of the German house: light up so much, they know "follow the curves" and not dazzle other drivers.

It is still a prototype, but the Opel swear that we will see them soon in their production cars. We're talking about a matrix of LED lights, that the Germany vehicle manufacturer firstly to massively introduce the new models. And not only in the more expensive ones. In fact, as is already the case for spherical cornering headlights, the idea is to make them available for the Corsa. On the technical times they do not unbalance but considering that the first phase of testing is finished and that now passes to the development for the production in series, it is easy to predict a couple of years.

BUT what's so special? - In addition to illuminate the road even better than the xenon headlights, LED headlamps have the ability to absorb less energy (thus reducing fuel consumption). At this, the prototypes of the Opel LED matrix add other advantages: their light is automatically oriented in corners and in height to illuminate the road better and not annoy other drivers. Even if it follows or crosses a car or motorcycle, the light beam is reduced only in the area that would disturb the other driver. And it all happens in real time. This effect is achieved thanks to a control unit which controls the switching of individual LEDs (on the prototype we tested, there are 16 for each lighthouse), to direct the light in a targeted manner. No mechanical system, then; contrary to what happens with current in automatic orientation headlights. This results in a higher reliability (the LEDs last much longer than the average life of a car), lower weight and dimensions (compact size also lead to a wide freedom of action for the designers).
