Okay, so I've finally decided what I'm gonna do with this blog since I do wanna continue using it.

Basically this is just gonna be a blog for anything rotting my brain that I don't wanna dedicate it's own separate blog to. So you'll probably see a lot of fandoms on this blog because anything that's not sonic or transformers related will be going here !!! so that's like fear and hunger, ocs, fanart for other series I love, or now my current fixation, fields of mistria !!! (I love how opposite ends of the spectrum these games are) since omg I wanna post my fields of mistria thoughts on Tumblr but I don't wanna make a blog dedicated to it and wanna make this one active again without forcing myself to make content for something that I'm not currently inspired by even if I love it dearly,,, looks at funger like a wife waiting for her husband to come back from war,,

which tbh was the original plan for this blog but then it turned into a lot of funger cause the funger brainrot was so strong, and please believe me I will get brainworms about it again at some point I just don't know when and want to post other content on this blog to keep it,,, somewhat alive.

so while I am super sorry to those who followed me thinking this would be exclusively a funger blog with occasional oc postings, I think I'm gonna be a lot happier with this blog that way !! and I really hope some of you guys stick with me throughout the changes this blog is gonna go through !!!

Aside from my original story ocs that I throw into funger as an au, I unfortunately do not, BUTTTT I would love to make one at some point. hopefully when my funger brainrot inevitably hits super hard again

how do you think Daan's relationship with Elise and the baron was? both in regular funger and the waffle house AU

OOOOO MMMMM for regular funger I think it was overall pretty good, y'know,,, until the uh. event.

I tend to think that Elise was a very sweet and gentle woman. but also that she was a bit of a freak. Daan found it endearing though even if he knew some of her tendencies weren't considered the norm. Like taxidermy, I'm a firm believer in the idea that Elise had a strong interest in taxidermy and that it was a hobby of hers! though I also think she wasn't the best of the best, more skilled than an amateur but definitely not professional level quality, they always had a bit of an uncanny vibe to them. more than most taxidermy does.

but yeah I think her and Daan's relationship was great, imagine that her and daan could read each other so well they could almost have conversations just by exchanging looks. I really do think it was like a finding your other half type thing. also just rlly need to keep up the theme of a neverending tragedy with Daan by giving him something so good only for it to be brutally ripped away from him.

now for the baron,,, I'm very torn on him. while I do think Elise is very much like him, well mannered and polite, willing to help anyone in need. He took Daan in and taught the young man everything he knew just because he wanted to help him, he didn't expect anything in return, but Daan gave him information on Sylvians healing magic and what started out as simple curiosity morphed into an unsettling obsession. I do think there was a change with him that people noticed but said nothing about, him becoming more paranoid, more quick tempered and irritable, though these moments were uncommon, only seeming to happy whenever he'd be studying that he claimed to be of upmost importance to him. I also think this change happened after Daan got drafted into the war so he knew nothing of it and Elise mostly kept it out of their letters so he wouldn't worry for her father.

so yeah I think it was a good relationship overall, the three cared for each other, the baron already saw Daan as his own even though him and Elise weren't married yet. Then shit hit the fan while Daan was at war and well, we know what he returned home to.

meanwhile for my silly little au, I'm still shocked so many people enjoy it, I think its basically the same as I listed above. A loving couple living with the woman's kind father, a man who would do anything for his daughter and son-in-law. This man would never in a million years harm his daughter. so yeah, instead of it ending in a ritual sacrifice like in canon, there was an accident, so Daan doesn't harbor any negative or conflicted feelings towards his father-in-law like he does in-game.
