Coffee shop

Kousuke x Reader

It was another quiet day working in the coffee shop.

Cleaning up tables and serving, (Y/N) walked around mindlessly waiting to be called.

The ring by the door made her look up.

“𝘏𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯...”

It’s become a routine at this point. Him coming in around late noon, always sitting by the window.

(Y/N) always wondered why he would sit there. There wasn’t much to look at. Only to look at pedestrians pass by.

So much of a routine she didn’t have to ask what he wanted.

Walking over with his drink in hand, she sets it down.

“I’ll like another please.”

She was caught off guard.

“𝘐𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦? 𝘐𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦?”

Smiling down at him, hiding the disappointment in her face. She was always secretly hoping he was there for her.

There were many occasions she’d catch his eyes. And maybe sometimes a blush on his face. But maybe now it was just a misunderstanding.

“Coming right up.”

It’s been more than thirty minutes and no one has shown up yet.

He’s just been staring out the window for most of the time.

Deciding to walk up to him, also bringing a new fresh cup of coffee for him. Thinking the other one was already cold.

“Excuse me, I’ve noticed you’ve been waiting for quite sometime now. I brought you a new cup of coffee.”

Kousuke looked up at her.

“Thank you...,” Kousuke paused, realizing he didn’t know her name.

“(Y/N), my name is (Y/N).” She said with a bright smile.

“Thank you, (Y/N).”

It seemed like hours has passed. But in reality, they both felt it was so short.

Kousuke was never really good at showing interest in a lot of things. One being making the first move.

He watched her walk back behind the counter.

Looking down at the now cold coffee that he ordered earlier, he was content she came.

After all, that coffee was for her in the beginning.

Kousuke turned back facing the window. Admiring her reflection.

Orochimaru

Orochimaru was known for his methods of “immortality”.

His deceiving, and selfishness is what made him infamous.

But there was once someone who saw past all of that.

Though in the end to achieve greatness, comes sacrifices and heartbreaks.

And that’s exactly what happened.

“Here, I want you to have this.” Orochimaru gifted you a necklace. On it a symbol that meant something very special for the both of you, “it has a small gold jem in the middle. So if you ever lose it, it’ll be easy to identify it.”

The two of you sat together under the big trees known in the Leaf Village.

Smiling brightly at him, thanking him.

“I choose to protect you always, (Y/N). And I hope that with this, you’ll always remember how much I’ve always cared for you.”

With a content smile on her face, she reaches up to peck him on the lips, “Who knows Orochimaru, maybe this necklace will last long than one generation. The start of something new.”

Orochimaru smiled down at her, taking in the moment. Knowing it’ll be the last time.

And here his in now, looking down at a girl who looked almost identical to you, yet he knew it wasn’t. It’s been years.

Then it finally settled now.

Time seemed to have stopped for him. How could he have fallen so far?

He saw the necklace dangling from her almost lifeless body.

“𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

“Well? What are you waiting for? Finish me already.”

Orochimaru looked back at the girl. Barely hanging on.

He finally let go of her, and turning away from her. Leaving the girl confused as to why he let her live.

After a long moment of silence, he finally spoke, “your mother...her name is (Y/N) (L/N), isn’t it.”

It came out more like he was stating a fact than asking a question.

The girl looked up at Orochimaru before answering hesitantly.

“Yes”

Orochimaru turned his head lighting to the side to look back at her.

“Tell her...I’m sorry.”

Orochimaru fled quickly and back into the darkness. Leaving the girl mortified, as she remembered what her mother once told her.

“𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘖𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘶. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦. 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘏𝘦’𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴,” (Y/N) mentioned at the necklace, “𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶.”

Kakashi x Reader

Kakashi never thought he’d see the day that he can finally go home to someone.

Walking in and seeing you playing with your two children. His heart skips a beat everytime, as if it was the first time all over again.

And coming home right before you’d give them both a bath. Those are his favorite memories. He can never understand how you do it.

With him being Hokage, he still makes sure you’re not alone.

You’re pregnancy was unexpected, but nonetheless the best experience you both ever shared.

And throughout it all, Kakashi made a promise to himself.

That you and his children will grow up safe and loved. And give them the best childhood they could ever have. One that he never had.

He thought this one day. While watching his two kids plant flowers with their friend Inojin.

Everyday he’d remind himself that.

For him comin home late wasn’t always his favorite thing to do.

But when he’d see you in bed with the kids by your side asleep, he’d almost wishes you all can lay there forever. Together.
