I don’t trust bugsnax. It has an underlying dark vibe. I’m constantly on edge, expecting it to turn into a full-blown horror game any second.

My sociophobic friend were so inspired by your making grumpuses' family trees but afraid of asking you. can they make the same thing? they will tag you as the creator of the idea
of course they can but no need to tag me I’m not the first person to make them I’m not sure who is

I really think we should stop saying "kid-friendly" and start saying "ad-friendly". We shouldn't indulge these companies and their excuses anymore. I also think that continuing to pretend that this is about "protecting the children" pushes a lot of the blame onto kids and teens, who don't have the political power to push through any of this censorship legislature. Corporations and governments are to blame.

The whole “they voted for it” rhetoric in regard to the low quality of life in red states (specifically in the south) makes me want to start killing and maiming. Frothing at the mouth and clawing. Reading through the screen and grabbing that lib’s throat. It is easier to turn your empathy off and classism on and say “all the people in that state are stupid broke redneck white trash so why should I care about them”, I’m sure.

I'm immune to the "what if your mother had an abortion/had aborted you" argument not only because of the whole "if I don't exist how would I care" paradox but also because I recognize my mother as a human being with agency and because I do not consider the concept of motherhood and abortion mutually exclusive. people who had abortions can become parents later on. parents can have abortions. how do know my mother didn't have an abortion at some point? or yours?

it’s crazy how many times I’m like “I don’t feel good” and doctors are like “there is nothing wrong with you actually” and then they get test results back and go “oh fuck. wait a minute. you weren’t lying. this is real not good.”
and I get it, I know an element of medical misogyny plays into because they see me as a woman but I think it’s also because I’m autistic and my reactions are not ‘appropriate’. when I’m in severe pain I’m silent and I’m fidgety. they probably think I’m overstating my symptoms because my affect is flat and I’m not emoting when that is actually a sign I am doing very badly.

This is just another form of censorship, control of what we can/can't see and engage with, and another means of getting our private information.

There is a small (not small extremely huge) part of me that wants to add Yolka to Shelda’s family tree

Instead of this whole "unlearning shame" bullshit, we should really be teaching people to distinguish between when you feel bad because you genuinely did wrong and when you're just beating yourself up for no good reason.

abled women with 17-step skincare routines have absolutely no place trying to “hold disabled people accountable” for our plastic waste. either stop buying ten products a month in disposable plastic full of plastic microbeads or stop fucking wailing and crying and sobbing about insulin pump tubes and injection supplies you fucking monster

Bruce Wayne has a massive bounty on his head at all times, multi millions of dollars constantly hanging above him when he goes out in public. Thus, he has his own personal guard when going to galas or charity events. Is it a conflict of interest that his personal guard is made up of his children and coworkers? Probably. Does he care? No.
Socialite 1: Is that... Nightwing? In a suit?
Socialite 2: It is! Who is that next to him? Red Robin?
Dick and Tim, with blazers and sunglasses over their normal costumes, trailing after Bruce the whole night, trying not to giggle at the absurdity of watching Bruce 'Batman' Wayne nearly spill the entire punch bowl on himself:
At first, the public is concerned that a billionaire can "buy out" vigilantes, but it doesn't take long for someone to just... ask Nightwing to guard them for a night, and he agrees, not asking for payment. This eventually becomes little kids asking for Robin to 'guard them on their way to school' and folks begging Batman to 'guard their dog for the week' (Since when did The Mission become pet sitting???) (Obviously, he agrees, tho the little yippy pomeranian gets taken to Wayne Manor for the week instead, and Ace gets a temporary new friend)
A hotline gets set up so that anyone who feels unsafe can call a number and have one of the Bat Family members walk them home. It gets used a lot by drunk college students, women, and kids who stayed up past curfew.
Scared little kid, barely able to reach the payphone, using their last quarters: Um... I n-need.. Robin.. p-please.. I'm really scared... its really d-dark... my house is far away...
Damian, who is already in the area, beelining towards where the call came from:

in order to unlearn racism u have to be willing to accept that u are racist. it’s not a bad thing to want to change for the better. it’s not a bad thing to say hey, the way i’ve been acting is racist and i don’t want to be racist anymore. when people of color are telling u ways in which u have been racist, it’s actually not cool to brush it off and say, well i didn’t mean it that way.. u actually have to make an effort to stop doing those things if u want to be able to actually say ur anti-racist. u can’t just say ur not racist because u dont wanna be seen as racist. that’s not how unlearning racism works.
