i turn to the gods when i know my family won’t accept me for being trans.

father zeus will always accept me for being true to me. lord apollo and lord hermes will always push me to be my most authentic self. lady athena will always encourage me to learn more about myself.

i love my family, they’re not hateful or anything, but i know they wouldn’t fully accept or support this side of me and i’ve come to accept that instead. the gods will have me where no one else does, i feel thankful for that.

Hellenistic is not a correct term to use when talking about Hellenic Polytheism.

Hellenistic refers to the era between Alexander the Great’s death in 323 BCE to the Roman’s conquest of Egypt in 32 BCE. Our practices usually branch outside of this time period.

Obviously you can learn about this time period, but it doesn’t fully encompass our religion.

I’ve always had some kind of odd things happen but yesterday I went to take a shower while home alone and when I got out I found that my bedroom door was closed and the lights in there off. Besides the fact that I remember leaving the door open and a lamp on, that door can’t latch closed on its own - the wood is aged and warped, so it requires me to lowkey body slam it in order to close fully. It’s not like a pressure difference could close it or gravity or something. I can barely get it to latch. So freaky.

I am starting to think my house is haunted. Now it is 115 years old so this does not shock me, but I’m not thrilled about it

if you see a cozy coffee shop - you should buy this coffee, its okay to get yourself something nice

or even better, try to learn how to make your favourite drink - your don't have an express, look up what to use instead etc

if there's a hobby that looks cool for you - you should ty it, get a small hobby kit or look around for alternatives in things you already own and start

work on making a cleaning routine, see what time fits you best, which tasks are for everyday which are weekly etc.

Shoutout to Apollon for his help during my top surgery and recovery. When I went into the OR they were playing a song that I associate with Him (and I hadn’t requested) which instantly comforted my anxiety. Afterwards Ive healed so quickly that my surgeon said she’d never had a patient heal as fast and well as me. Im only in week 5 of recovery and I’ve had all restrictions lifted. Apollon has been with me <3
