My take on the horrortale situation...

I'm gonna say this first: y'all shouldn't feel "ashamed" for liking the au.

Horrortale has always been one of the most popular au's in the community, and while I don't think Horror Sans is gonna lose his popularity within the fandom, the situation is weird and uncomfortable, obviously people are gonna talk about it. It's good that people are becoming aware enough to call out on others' problematic behaviors, however, there are some things you guys seriously need to consider first before approaching the situation otherwise it's gonna do more damage than good.

Calling the characters or the creator a pedo? I don't think that's the right way to approach the situation...

The art wasn't even canon, first of all, saying that canon horror sans is a "pedo" even as a joke makes the situation even worse than it is.

Now the creator, that's someone you should hold accountable for the weird drawings they publish.

Even then, don’t casually slap a “pedo” label on them unless there’s real evidence beyond the art.

Idk man, I hope SAS realizes the damage this will do to their au and it's popularity within the fandom and does/says something to fix the situation, but in case that doesn't happen...

There are cases where you can’t separate art from artist, but in this one, I think we can... and we should.

Dust Sans x Reader Headcanons

It's currently 7:40 AM and I haven't gotten any sleep since last night, so instead of sleeping, I'm gonna share some of my silly Dust x reader headcanons with you.

A quiet man. really quiet. Always either staring at you or listening as you talk.

He forgets that you can't see the ghost of his brother and randomly starts talking to him in front of you, then goes silent and looks at you to make sure you're not too weirded out.

Either avoids any kind of touch or contact during a bad episode or clings to you like his life depends on it.

Makes a LOT of dark jokes about his past and only stops if you let him know you're uncomfortable.

Secretly believes that you deserve better than him, but he never says it out loud. He never, ever says that out loud.

He almost never cries, at least not in front of you. (Doesn't think he's allowed to, because everything he's going through are the consequences of his own actions.)

Rolls his eye(lights?) or giggles when you flirt with him depending on his mood.

* I feel like his laugh would also be a really quiet sound like a chuckle or smth.
