Cider Girl's Tomo resumes activities after a two-year hiatus and tours Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka to celebrate the band's 10th anniversary

Tomo (guitarist), member of Cider Girl who has been on hiatus since July 2022, has returned to the band, announcing that together with all the band members, they will hold a tour titled "Cider no Yukue - NO(W)HERE -" in September in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.

Formed in May 2014 by Tomo, Yurin (vocalist, guitarist), and Fujimura (bassist), Cider Girl is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Tomo, who announced his return to the band in their anniversary year, reflected on his hiatus two years ago.

"I sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience and worry I have caused for not saying anything. The conflict between my desire to take music and band activities seriously and not being able to produce music I'm satisfied with, led me to my decision to take a hiatus.

"Due to my innate personality, I may continue to have many troubles and moments when I lose sight of the road signs in the future, but I hope to walk together with you, who loves this Cider Girl creature, into a bright future," he said, expressing his determination for the future.

The Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka tour will take place at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO) in Tokyo on September 12th, Nagoya CLUB QUATTRO in Aichi on the 22nd, and Umeda CLUB QUATTRO in Osaka on the 23rd. Advance ticket reservations are being accepted until June 2nd on the official fan club "CIDER LABO".

This was an unreleased song of Cider Girl under Anata no Kotoba de Ikkyoku Tsukurimasu yo. It's a contest wherein the members and their go-to MC Hirocho-san create a song every month, based on the lyrics tweeted by the fans following a theme. "Midnight Music" was aired on November 2019, with the theme "Halloween".

In this round, Fujimura-san's "Midnight Music" was the winner, beating Tomo-san's "Troll" that was completed and released on their fourth full album "SODA POP FANCLUB 4".
