Lingering Warmth

It was a warm day; the sun not yet high enough to turn the earth into a scorching hell, but the heat it emitted didn’t fail to show its effect on the passerbys’ faces. Groaning and huffing they wiped the sweat from their gleaming foreheads as well as the reddened cheeks. A „Dammit!“ could be heard here or there while others preferred to remain silent; maybe to not waste their last bit of energy on something like cursing a world that wouldn’t be able to answer anyway. An useless display of discomfort. A way to show one’s anger, throw it at someone or something. It was stupid in a way, because it drained the body even more. To some it was necessary though. They needed it the way others needed to breathe.

And so defying the heat, the pedestrians walked on, constantly placing one foot in front of the other. It was quite a sight to see; especially to those who fully enjoyed the luxury of not having to join this stream of people; each of them headed to their very own workplaces. Some might go to the hospital, others would maybe flee into the airconditioned offices or schools; thanking god for the relief of not having to be exposed to the unbearable heat that’d come with the slowly approaching afternoon. The really lucky ones though were those who leisurely spent their time in a café or restaurant; freed of any worldly obligations. Women clad in pastel-coloured dresses, men in shorts and shirts; they were so very different from those people who had just walked them by, cursing the day for what it was: hot. Yes, it was so very hot.

Wake Up Call (Glimpse/Kiss Challenge)

>> “Buddy…” Someone was calling him. But the man didn’t even bother to open his eyes. He was still deep in dreamland. Or was the voice calling him from that realm as well?

“Buddy”, the person called again, softly, as if from a place far away. The brunet just grumbled slightly. He was feeling so comfortable right now, warm and cozy in an embrace he didn’t know he longed for that badly.

Not all that cold

“You want anything from the sweets stand?”

Buddy looked up at Leon as if the American had just suggested to take a ride on the children’s merry-go-round – which probably was only a matter of time before he did.

“No thanks, I’m good.”

Leon shrugged and strolled off, leaving Buddy and his wheelchair next to the large Christmas tree that was the literal highlight of the small Christmas market. Buddy rubbed his cold hands together as he gazed up at the sparkling electric candles that illuminated the tree. The Slav was glad that there weren’t as many people around. Not only did he enjoy the quiet, it was also much easier to navigate the narrow aisles. And although he didn’t really need Leon pushing him, when the blond had insisted right from the very beginning, Buddy couldn’t really say anything against it – he was pretty sure Leon would have done it even if Buddy would have continued complaining. Still, deep inside he was glad for the offer; his hands were freezing enough as it was, even with gloves on – which he had also borrowed from the blond. Buddy smiled to himself. He couldn’t help feeling a bit embarrassed and spoiled, but most of all he felt happiness.

Finally, my second Resident Evil: Damnation (Leon x Buddy) music video is finished! I feel a bit dumb, because I could have uploaded it a year ago; it was almost complete, I just had to edit a few more things …well, though I guess I could have worked on it more, but honestly, I wouldn’t have known quite how to do it in a much better way and I always fear I’ll ruin everything if I stray too much from the original ideas and edits, especially after such a long time. Whatever. It is what it is and hopefully it won’t be the last (music) video contribution to Leon x Buddy or Damnation, anyway (even though it might be a while again until I do another one).

For this video at least, Nickelback is making a return. When I heard the song for the first time, I just knew I had to use it for Leon and Buddy (once more an obvious choice as far as I’m concerned)!

無礼な表現は感動して感情的になったせいで、意図的ではありません。🙏

喧嘩からのサシャレオサシャ（リバ）💕 この方は短編も凄く良いんだけど、とりあえずエロから😍

二人が口論してて、特にレオンがバディにきついことを言う言う！！そうだった…ダムネのレオンはバディを咎めるんだった（バディも本編らしく、レにキレるか無言か冷淡） 読んでてレオンの言葉が忌憚なさすぎてバディ推しの私には辛い瞬間も…。

バディが最初からレを好きで、それも可哀想だった😢しかしバディの態度は最悪で、彼らしすぎる。 道端でキスして警察に捕まりそうになるのがリアル。

バディがVDレオン並みに荒れていて冷酷で、奪われた家を前にプライドの高いゲリラらしい復讐を口にして、レオンを怒らせるのがかなり良かったな…😳

ずっと口論するのか？と案じた後、二人はバディの部屋へ。 バディが「どうしたら��いか分からない」と言うのでレが攻めかと思いきや、バディがレオンに乗って「お前は下にいるんだから、俺の勝ちだ」（！！）DTみたいなこと言うじゃん😍（バディはイリーナと経験あり）

押し倒されたレオンが「あらら～哀れなバディ、（勝ち負け持ち出すなんて）世間知らず…」とか言ってる！！余裕があって、レオンらしくてときめき過ぎて死んだ！！

バディが貧困生活をしているのが読んでいて辛かったけど、多分荒れた生活していて働いていないからっぽい（バディが歩けているため、初見時これが本編中の逸話なのか、ラスト以後なのか迷った。ラスト以後に立ち直れていないバディ設定だった）

寝たあと急に「これはただのファックじゃないぞ。（お前は俺を抱いたんだから、お前の人生に）俺を入れろ！」と言い出すレに燃えた。

レがリードするバディ攻め良かった😍これで終わりかと思いきや、このあとレオンがバディを攻めてる！！最高🥰 リバ読める人間で良かったと心から思った💕💕💕💕💕英語圏はトップボトム交換（リバ）が割とあるイメージはあったけど本当に二度美味しい❤️ バディがレオンによる処女喪失ではイケないのも何かリアル。 リバだからなのか、s*xポジションによる人格変容がどちらもなく本編バディとレらしくて萌。

ベッドイン中も合間合間に二人が言葉で揉めてて、それも本編の二人らしい。レオンが後半バディに教師に戻るよう説得していて、このＨを切っ掛けにバディが立ち直って良かったです💕

He was holding a large sports bag in his left hand and was covered from head to toe in white snowflakes. “Hey”, was Buddy’s less enthusiastic reply. He still wasn’t quite used to this, even though it had almost been two years that he and Leon had been together now.

“Hah…“ A long, heavy sigh wandered through the room, reflected by white empty walls. The door silently closed behind them, keeping the hot afternoon sun from entering the surprisingly cool flat. Both men shivered slightly as soon as they passed through the doorway. At least one of them though felt the overall atmosphere weighing down on him way more than the change of temperature. Just moments ago, the Slav couldn’t have felt more relieved at the thought of getting rid of his clothes, but right now in the presence of the man behind him with all those unspoken desires between them, he didn’t favour that idea as much anymore. He had been so eager before, but now it all seemed rushed and maybe that rising need had been the result of the scorching sun. Or maybe not. The veins pulsating beneath his rough, scarred skin belied his growing denial. They seemed as if they were going to explode any minute, the blood rushing through his body at an alarming speed. To him it seemed as if a bird tried to break free from its cage, his own heart just barely being held in place by tissues of muscle. Did he truly want to take it further? “You want something to drink?“ The sudden question coming from behind made him flinch abruptly. Even though the man had been well aware of the presence of the other - more than he’d ever admit to himself – he hadn’t seen that coming. “You planning something?“, he retorted, trying to make the following grin seem as effortless as possible. Without being able to see his own reflection though he pretty much could picture in his head how stupid he had to look right now with a crooked grin which was probably nowhere near natural. Still it did earn him a brilliant smile by the American – a smile a little too brilliant and a way too flirty “Only if you do.” Even though he could feel the urge to punch Leon in the sides rise, he was rather relieved at the goofiness the man displayed. It made him finally relax for the first time since having entered the flat.

I think we don't talk enough about Sasha a.k.a. Buddy, or RE: Damnation in general.

I'll make it short: If it weren't for Sasha (Buddy), Leon would have certainly died on the mission in the ESR.

It was *Sasha* who commanded the Lickers to prevent the Tyrant from delivering the final blow against Leon.

Which also makes it the first time happening; A battle between (full mutated) B.O.Ws in history of Resident Evil (Lickers vs. Tyrant).

Despite of disliking him, Sasha helped Leon to escape. And the other one did the same in return.

That's one of the reasons I love this movie so much: Enemies become allies. Without the other, there's no chance of survival.

And d*mn, Sasha is such an incredibly strong individual. Maybe I'll talk about it next time~🔥💥☀️😌

Not when his life belongs to someone else; handed over in writing on an air-tight contract he's not sure he'll ever get out of or even if there'll be anything left of him once he can.

Leon swallows against that ache, his lashes fluttering shut as if to block out the love he sees shining in those amber hues. He can never deny it for long, though: turns over his hand to twine their fingers, a solid, firm hold and opens his eyes again, lips turning up to a small, bittersweet smile; one he presses against the curve of Sasha's cheek, the corner of his mouth, the bridge of his nose, until at last he brushes them over Sasha's lips in a tender, tender kiss, as tender as he can be with no one else but him. " I promise. Don't plan on leaving again so soon. "

That's all he can give. He can but hope it will remain enough.

And I have to say, it's been a turbulent, or rather exciting, decade! I've learned so much about people and myself that I couldn't possibly capture it all in a single book!

Cosplay offers people, in all generations, young and old, an opportunity to discover themselves. Or even to expand. Through this hobby, you can escape from the dreary reality for a moment; expand your creative side, and above all, simply have fun! Personally, I learned a lot about crafting, build up my Make-Up skills in VFX and in Photography, also improved my acting skills! 😌✌

Anyway, I started out just cosplaying Deidara, but during the Corona period, a lot of other faces joined in. And the wonderful artwork at the end was taken by various talented photographers, which I really wanted to share with you! And hereby I would like to thank all the good people, especially my princess 🖤, to those who were there and left briefly, loyal friends, my family, and various creative minds out there, for the incredibly awesome time and the outstanding works of art you created with my face!
