i have already been loving the hc of nam-gyu and seo-wan being twins like it's such a perfect idea to me but now i also rlly want to write a fic where thanos does not get stopped by the recruiter while on the bridge, but rather maybe a concerned citizen who is able to talk him down and manages to get him some help... leading him to becoming a patient at myungshin university hospital, where he meets a new friend: kim seo-wan.

thanos bonds to seo-wan right away, playing along with his fantasies and finding it amusing whenever seo-wan starts talking about the world he's living in. plus seo-wan is pretty much the only patient there who is kind to thanos, he's one of the only people that doesn't think of thanos as annoying, as a waste of space.

thanos loves to hang out with seo-wan and they quickly become friends... but it isn't long before thanos starts to also become intrigued by nam-gyu, seo-wan's twin brother who frequently comes to the hospital to visit him. and, since seo-wan is the only person that thanos hangs out with (and since thanos rarely gets visitors himself...), that leads to thanos often joining in whenever seo-wan has his visits with nam-gyu.

nam-gyu and seo-wan couldn't be more different, thanos thinks. seo-wan lives his life through the lens of a wonder-filled fantasy world, while nam-gyu seems to view the world around him with nothing but disdain... well, except for the times he's talking to seo-wan. and even though they're identical twins, they do look different, and there's something about nam-gyu that makes thanos find himself just staring at nam-gyu every time he comes to visit, something that sparks a feeling within him that he never gets when he looks at seo-wan.

lol I noticed when I think a thangyu song gravitates to one character the vibes are super different.

Every time I think of a Thanos POV song it's just about having a good old funky time with your boo meanwhile it's always the Nam Gyu POV songs that have to be about toxic relationships and angst.
