I’m slowly going through my family history, mostly old photos, so it’s apt that this letter should talk about Dad’s memories of the DeMarco family.

I used to work in public libraries and I love the imagery of the paper that Dad wrote on coming from some old unused and unwanted book.

I would love to paint this, turn it into a short story or poem...or maybe just imagine being on the beach staring out at the dark reflection of the sea.

Dad wrote a lot about this lovely piece of driftwood shaped like a woman. I often wonder what happened to her...is she still in his shed at home?

We have complaints of tip odours in our local area, which we are being encouraged to report (e.g. More complaints = more action). It doesn’t help that we are surrounded by old and new landfill sites.
