Best Gaming Phones
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is, without a doubt, the greatest gaming smartphone. With a hefty, gamer-esque design, it's unlikely to appeal to a broad audience, but that isn't the point here. As expected, gaming is the primary focus here, and Asus has pushed things to the next level by including a 144Hz AMOLED display, two 3,000mAh batteries, the top of the line Snapdragon 888 processor, and up to an eye-watering 16GB of RAM. It is capable of running nearly any game now available on Android, with enough power left over to keep the phone future-proof for an extended period of time - all for a price that is far less than that of high-end flagships. Gameplay is further enhanced by the inclusion of haptic triggers on the side of the ROG Phone 5. If you want to go even further, there is a wide range of official accessories available, including Kunai 5 controllers that look similar to those found on the Nintendo Switch as well as a fan-powered AeroActive Cooler 5 cooling system, which should be right up your street. Even though they have nothing to do with gaming, the cameras on this phone are rather good, which is rare for a gaming phone. The only thing we can truly complain about is the size and weight, which are 10.3mm thick and 238g respectively, although that isn't really relevant in the gaming industry.
