Jesse is the nephew of Will’s brother-in-law (Gabriel), which seems to be the main source of confusion from what I’ve noticed, but they aren’t related. He isn’t Will’s nephew, he isn’t Lucie’s cousin. Cecily is technically Jesse’s aunt because calling the spouses of your uncles “in-laws” is probably weird, yeah, but there’s no actual relation.

I wasn’t expecting for people to legitimately ship Jesse and James tho AND I WAS CONFUSED CAUSE FOR A HOT SECOND I THOUGHT THEY WERE COUSINS AND THIS FANDOM IS MESSED UPP HAHA but then I thought about it and they aren’t cousins cause literally lucie is James sister and Tatiana is not related to Will. I normally don’t post off-topic here, but wanted to apologize for not being as active in my TSC posts these past weeks. I’ve been doing some homework and all progress stopped at like 95% since I can’t find the singular detail I need to have a conclusion for my research and therefore I’m currently having a meltdown that prevents me from being productive. I’m not busy, I don’t have an excuse, I’m just too busy freaking out over here. Sorry.

Hopefully later this month I’ll try to get back to screaming about TLH theories or CoT or something. Love y’all.

The best part is this is 100% credible. Belial even admits he likes humanity in some ways, like how he somehow managed to read Shakespeare despite never being able to visit the human world. If the guy can have access to books, he most certainly has a nail polish collection. And the tunics? Look at the official art of Belial and tell me the guy doesn’t keep his wardrobe up to date (pretty sure it’s also actually canon in GotSM that Belial had a tailor at one point).

Belial has his priorities straight (aside from the body-snatching thing, but alas)

Ok but can we talk about how Ghostwriter (and, to a lesser extent, the possibility of Gracetopher) kind of send a message about consent?

We don’t see whatever conversation(s) they had about it, but it’s clear that Lucie and Jesse discussed the usage of her power. She can literally control ghosts, and they both know that, and they took the time to set boundaries. She only commands him when he asks for it, or with his permission, and when she has to command him in order to perform an exorcism to save lives, Lucie still takes the time to apologize before doing it.

Meanwhile, Tatiana raised Grace to use her powers to control men, and during that whole scene with Christopher, Grace has to actively refuse to use it, purely because of how much she seemed to be enjoying their interactions, even though she’s used to needing her power to get her way. We don’t know if Grace will get a proper redemption arc or if Gracetopher will be a thing, but as it stands, the girl who can make men fall in love with her through magical means hasn’t used her power on the one character who may or may not be set up for some sort of relationship with her (I’m lowkey convinced they’ll be a science team more than anything but here isn’t the post to speculate.)

If Magnus’ father is Asmodeus and Tessa’s father is Belial and Asmodeus and Belial are both princes of Hell and can be considered brothers - then doesn’t this mean that Tessa and Magnus are brother and sister and Magnus is Lucie and James’ uncle and Will’s brother in law and remotely related to the entire Herondale family?
