Specifically, my life. Born in 1996, Aquarius. I like a ton of things - books (fantasy mostly), tarot, crystals, nature photography, crafting (mostly quilting), gardening. I'm a mom to two kids under 3. This blog will be all over the place :D (thanks ADHD)

What's my deal with witchy stuff??
You'll get a ton of opinions on different witchy things. People saying it's crap, people who believe in it completely. So, where do I stand?
I think somewhere in the middle, honestly.
Listen - I love tarot. I love my divination tools. I also love my crystals. But, do I think they alone change my life? No. I think they are tools I can use to meditate on my life and what I'd like to change.
Tools I can use to keep my mind open, to bring myself comfort during hard times.
I love learning about witchy stuff. Recently, I've been learning about astrology. Which is the one that's hardest for me to get my head around.
I'm a big believer in science. I'm not religious, I'm not spiritual. But, I do believe in everything happens for a reason. I do believe in using tools to help you change your own life. To help remember what is important.
When I set out crystals, I'm using their meanings to remind myself of what I'd like to bring into my life or avoid. Every time I walk by them I'm reminded of that, and can make changes to reflect that.
When I use my tarot cards, or other Divination materials, I'm using them intuitively to guide my thoughts. To help figure out what I'm worried about or stuck on, to create a bit of a guide that I'm happy with.
And above all, I don't make fun of people for their own practices. If you aren't hurting anyone, go for it. Whatever makes you feel good.

In an effort to organize my life, I went and documented all the tumbled crystals I have. Which was a huge process.
I went a bit over the top - but I took a photo of each crystal, then used a bullet journal notebook I had to put them in alphabetical order with meanings included.
I then used little drawstring bags to put the crystals in (all "A's" together, all "B's" etc).
This way, I won't forget what crystals I have, or what each one is. Much better than how I previously had them. I can easily find whatever I'm looking for, without getting overwhelmed.
(Image ID - 8 compilation photos of crystals. Each photo has 9 different crystals featured of all different colours and sizes individually placed in a white dish. All crystals are tumbled. The last photo features 5 crystals individually, then a larger image of 5 different crystals all together in a white dish)

Huge post incoming - let's do an introduction, shall we?
I've had a tumblr since 2016 - but I recently deleted it to start fresh. I'm a very different person from who I was then, and my interests have changed quite a bit.
A bit about me - I'm Canadian, was born in 1996. I live in a small rural town in Southern Ontario. I have 2 kids, and am in a long term relationship (getting married this year). My pronouns are she/her, but I also don't mind they/them.
I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2020.
I have so many interests, but the main ones are reading (fantasy, SciFi, historical fiction, memoirs, general fiction, dystopian, etc etc), photography (nature photography mainly, but I love taking any photos), quilting, tarot and other witchy things, gardening (though I'm not the best at keeping the plants alive), tattoos (I'm covered), and gaming with friends (Minecraft or D&D mostly).
I've no idea how often I'll post here, or what I'll post about. Probably nature photos, new witchy things I'm excited about, garden updates, books I'm reading, etc. Maybe a little about motherhood, but keeping my kids anonymous.
Anyway! Come along for the ride!
