Film if the day #2

Nowhere 1997 - Greg Araki

This was my second Greg Araki film after Mysterious Skin so my expectations where through the room and boy where they met. It so refreshing to see queer teenage struggles portrayed in cinema in such a unique and refreshing way, instead of the same old boring angsty nonsense. I swear no one else does it like Greg araki.

The films ending left me feeling in shambles for hours..

Film of the day BOOGIE NIGHTS : Paul thomas anderson

I've been trying to watch all of Paul Thomas Andersons films this week and they have all been incredible but so far Boogie Nights 1997 has been my favourite.

There's something about a modern retelling of the 70s i just can't get enough of. If you are a fan of Dazed and confused I would 100 percent recommend this. If you are a fan of dance sequens (some may say boogieing) defo give this a watch.

Musician of the day is my goat Sufjan Stevens

I don't think im going to ever find another artist with as much range as mr Stevens. He can go from writing songs about super sexy woman, to releasing a 24 minute long story disguised as a song, and even having his songs feature in one if the most beautiful coming if age films in recent times (cmbyn🤓).

I love this guy hes so cool top 3 artists for me.
