Ah, just a sudden realization about Thor and his role in the mythology of slaying giants. He’s not a war god. He’s a god associated with agriculture. His killing of giants represents the fight to tame and domesticate the land. His title of defender of mankind is largely against the elements and harshness of nature, not against invading foreigners.

I know this is a blog for Loki, and I REALLY enjoy a lot of the information on here. But do you happen to know any links for Thor worship? For some reason I can't find much on it.

We don’t have a whole lot; there are a couple of older posts on Thor with a links to a few Thors-folk on Tumblr.

You can also find some of His devotees in the thor*, thunor, and “thor appreciation cuddle pile” tags, and the thor tag on grumpylokeanelder also has a bunch of entries.
